- The wind has been kicking and today was the 1st break we had in a while. Today we had a southeast 12mph wind and was going to pick up to 17 with gust of 20. This area holds a variety of fish, just keep in mind the hang ups and currents.
Now about the SLAM, I used 3 fishing poles and missed a ton of fish but you can see the results.

I am one that likes to eat what I catch. I have done some inshore fishing from the bank and have had a little success, but I recently bought waders and want to try my hand at trout, flounder and red fishing. Yes SIr... I take subscribers all the time, as well as charter out small groups... I like to teach people how to target fish and always say it is about the grind trying to find them.

I'm using the lazer sharp hooks #6 but I use the mustad live bait hooks #6 more often
I love to eat sheepshead, they are my favorite.

Why did you vent that red your in shallow water ??
the edge I'm fishing is about 4ft and just on the other side of the boat it 28 to 33ft... this one needed it to swim away... this spot is next to the channel

The ventilation is Unnecessary because the water there isn’t very deep.
Not true, I have had to vent fish when caught from the rocks at the Texas City Dike. Also in this area the water goes from 4ft just off the rocks to 33ft less than 25yrds away
you are fishing in shallow waters, why are you deflating the air bag? You do that when you bring fish up from deep water, over 30 feet. Its due to gas expansion in the tissue....you arent in water that deep are you?
That's right next to the channel and it drops off quickly to 28ft.... Also you can see the air in the stomach area
