I love the way you show and explain the build process thoroughly. A lot of youtubers who make strong bases don't know how to properly deliver the design to an audience.
delivery is the key, the base is no good if people don't understand the core features and why they are what they are. Hopefully people can also take the core idea's and use them in their own builds as well, hopefully it sparks an idea
This is exactly what I was looking for: a way to create a suicide bunker out of a starter The way you started with half floors was a very smart solution!
Although the vault is pretty strong, the roof trick prevents the vault from being able to have a wall on the side when doing it. It is a bit of an investment at the very start but i think the positives outweigh the negatives
Thanks for my new favourite base now i can snowball and find my stuff easilly, and thanks for explaining EVERYTHING SO WELL youre the best! Btw guys/girls if you want to access Tc use the box he placed thats sticking out the wall to pass loot through thats why its there then just spawn in the bag in Tc room.
Great video dude. I watch a lot of base design videos and this one is my favorite. Subscribed and looking forward to your next one. Keep up the good work.
I usually use U shaped stairs instead of salvaged shelves for a couple of reasons 1. You can fit more bags - I usually place 2 more in a row next to the one you placed. 2. Doesn't require you finding/buying salvaged shelves making it better for a starter. I usually replace the large boxes (expect for the one sticking through the wall .) with two barbecues and two small boxes underneath. If you use L shaped stairs instead you can pick up and replace bags after you have sealed it off, but it really kills the storage space of the bunker.
I'm gonna check out this stairs option on my server and see if i can come up with anything cool with it, i'm wondering if it blocks the wall from getting cut
These base videos have really helped m,e out and you are the best youtuber that I've seen make these types of videos. Your doing a great job, keep up the great work!
The only thing i would change would be adding a full wall at the end of the loot room, i would put a half wall on the bottom leave the top open and use one of the triangles for a roof access. Making the top walls and roof hqm with a garage door that way you can expand to a second floor so in the future you can have a bigger base that is compact and perfect for a 3 man. Not gonna lie probably my favorite base design so far!
@@JayComedyDirector yeah thats obvious, but my point is to make a bigger base example a second floor me and my friends always do a second floor +honeycomb, and a roof fortification, and we have rarely gotten raided on most of our base designs since we do stone in the outside HQM and S.Metal in the inside. Ill maybe make a video on the idea i have

You don't have to remove your garage door for the drop boxes, you just have to make sure the door is closed. Great base design, you should look to make a late game base with the 2x2 core but with a second floor for shooting and other things.
Indeed, ive been getting into building bigger bases, this one was to make it as small and cheap as possible while still maintaining that 23 rocket cost
One thing to improve on is you can add garage doors in the loot room, just make sure to have the door frames down before the roof tiles that hold the top layer of boxes is placed
Using it today, thanks man! 😀😀 And I see you used the trick I commented in the previous video, place a barbecue and a small wooden box underneath it By the way you can place research table and repair bench outside of the base, also I would upgrade the honeycomb to the loot room to sheet metal
Yup the bbq and small box is great usage of space. you can def upgrade to sheet metal and even add the layer of stone around the whole thing. When i was making this video i wanted to skimp out on every material that i could to see how cheap i could make the base, but that was for demonstration purposes.
I would love to see the 1x1 vault box clipping design worked into a bunker base design, could be the most expensive and trickiest raid, a vault inside a bunker
@@MyGamingExperience but then again, the last bunker base you did where you had those sheet metal triangle ceilings placed in the middle of the window frame to protect your TC loot would do just the same job I guess
13:13 When the garage door is open it doesn't allow the placement of things like a floor or boxes but when the garage door is closed this isnt an issue Might be why you couldnt place them.

I really like this starter to main type vid. Really well done. Here's some things I was thinking: 1. The initial shell requires a lot of wood/stone when you first spawn and are trying to make a base. Although I don't see an easy way to lower this cost, saying something like "gather up 4k wood and 8k stone for the initial setup" would be helpful. I'll calculate it quick. I calculated 7025 stone for the initial shell. That's a lot for a starter but not impossible. I'd go for it since I play on a 2x but on vanilla it might be tough. If you could say something like "grab 4k wood and 7k stone for the initial shell" that would be nice for people to know what they need to seal themselves in and be safe. It might even be worth making a 1x1 or 2x1 before doing this base on vanilla. 2. Since you might not have shelves right away, you can start living out of this base without making the bunker section. That can be added in later as long as you place all your deployables right. I'd start the video with furnaces/sleeping bag/boxes and then do the bunker later on. Like you put in reinforced window glass before furnaces or tier 1 which doesn't make sense. 3. The window frame/reinforced glass at 3:00 feels wrong since you should probably assume that people won't have the reinforced window glass bp. Yes this build is tight and that's a nice spot to stick 3 furnaces but I'd rather put a shop front there and just stick the furnaces around the tier 1 for now. 4. I love using the wood floor under the tier 2 to later break it. Great idea. I tried doing that with foundations but sometimes you can't replace the foundations after doing it! 5. this base is really tight for more than 1 person. Primarily due to the loot room design. Although I like it, it would be annoying with a team of 3 in my opinion. I'd like to see a similar design with a more open loot room for a trio or quad. 6. Instead of closing off this area at 9:35 you can use two triangles for a loot room to open up the base for a duo/trio base.
I like all of these idea's i've really been trying to figure out how to lessen the initial cost of a starter with this bunker idea in mind. i think that building a 1x1 or 1x2 to hold the initial investment would prolly be best for vanilla. I'm going to try and implement what you were saying about you need 'x much and 'y much to get safe. Thank you for your time in helping me out with this comment. A lot to take in :)
the garage doors tend to block placement when they're open so if you close the door it tends to let you place (above them) at least from what i've found
Only thing i'd add to this is upgrading your garage door frames to steel. Seeing as garage doors are 600 and stone is 500 might as well get the most use out of your garages that you can :)
put all your important loot in the box that is placed through the wall, spawn in your bag next to TC. You can acces the chest from inside now and transfer all your loot in your vault chests/TC.
Very nice! I’m going to build this on the server and see if I can improve upon it. Tight three man base possibly up to 5 but that is cramped. Spread a couple of they around the map and it gets possible to do a lot.
it would be 1 stone and 1 sheet metal wall to the tc than, with the tc room being so compact, i believe its better to make it 1 hqm and 1 sheet wall worth of raid materials

I'm happy you like the base. So this 1x1 concept is just so strong in my opinion, i really do love it, it also fits my build style pretty much perfectly
So the space next to loot room (triangle foundations) that just got walled off, do you think if you put a garage door and a locker and small box in there (at the cost of 1 bbq) is worth it? should still be the same raid cost and storage but you get a locker out of it.
For the loot room design, have you considered using the 12.8 large box design showcased in evilwursts video? It might be worth checking out if you havent seen it before
the only things I dislike about the base are the position of the metal trading window thing, with all the doors open people can easily peer into your entire base design; and no roof access. @@MyGamingExperience They're gonna ruin it that's what lol idiots like me who hate using electricity more than needed will replace one autoturret with 10 shotgun traps :D
@@MyGamingExperience Yeah, I love small bases like this but I always feel a few drop boxes are really useful since there's gonna be a few times when you just need to get in and out as fast as possible.
You didn't placed a sleeping bag inside the TC Room. If you do that, you can tranfer loot from the inside to the outside by just killing yourself and spawning in the room and dropping your stuff in the wallcliped box. I actually don't see another reason to completly block it off (the room). Can someone explain that? How do you access it?
you can put stuff into the box that is sticking through the wall and than respawn on the bag inside the room with the tc and grab the mats from the same box. This is so its very cheap to get a hqm from every angle raid cost which is very high.
ahhhhhh, i thought i was able to place the box there once or twice, couldn't figure out what it was, im pretty sure that was it. This is very good to know, thank you!
There's only one problem you upgrading the one out side honeycomb to sheet is a dead giveaway to where main loot/tc is so if you do sheet honeycomb just make it all sheet 😀
you put the loot in the large box that hanging out on the top level in the loot room, after that you respawn on the sleeping bag inside the tc room and grab the mats out of the same box.
@@MyGamingExperience I'll never understand why people use the box glitch instead of just using a drop box or two that is literally meant for that exact use.

So the space next to loot room (triangle foundations) that just got walled off, do you think if you put a garage door and a locker and small box in there (at the cost of 1 bbq) is worth it? should still be the same raid cost and storage but you get a locker out of it.
if it is the same raid cost it would be a great addition
Is there a way to make it without selvage shelves ? Some time cant find the bloody thing
i've been trying, but unsuccessfully, if you ever figure out how to do this please let me know
i can do it with 1 box on a triangle foundation but i can figure out a use for it

@@MyGamingExperience They're gonna ruin it that's what lol idiots like me who hate using electricity more than needed will replace one autoturret with 10 shotgun traps :D
Why not use the space above the first door as another quick drop? and it would blend in a little better with the rest of the base.
This can be done, you could expand a whole bunch on this base, this is just the smallest configuration i could find
@@MyGamingExperience Yeah, I love small bases like this but I always feel a few drop boxes are really useful since there's gonna be a few times when you just need to get in and out as fast as possible.
So this only works for no-decay servers? Or people who have enough to never need to redstock it?
im not sure if it would work on a non decay server, you can pass the loot through the box in the wall
How do you access it?
i didn't add a sleeping bag in the tc room?
Newer to the game so I don’t understand something. Why walk off tc? You can’t access it anymore after that right?
you can put stuff into the box that is sticking through the wall and than respawn on the bag inside the room with the tc and grab the mats from the same box. This is so its very cheap to get a hqm from every angle raid cost which is very high.
Does anyone know if you are still able to do the tc room glitch with the chest?
You can still put a box through a wall yes
Can you please make a strong trio base with a shooting floor and vault in the core?
I;m actually working on a decent trio base atm
Not sure if this was mentioned or if anyones already said it but make sure 2 codelock the transfer chest :)
Codelocking that chest is a smart idea
If you close the garage door, you can place the boxes on top.
ahhhhhh, i thought i was able to place the box there once or twice, couldn't figure out what it was, im pretty sure that was it. This is very good to know, thank you!
how to get loot rom bunker. when the linking box is broken ?
you have to replace it with a dropbox at that point
another greta video man keep it up and like people are saying i would love to see you do a compound bc wow would it be wild lol
Thank you, im happy you enjoyed the vid. I'm working a compound build, im really wondering what will get patched or nerfed (turret) in the next update
What happen if you get raided and they destroy the box, how can you replace one ?
@@Diego-vc6kj Can you operate a drop box alone as a Solo ?
@@TX55OffShore yea
@@TX55OffShore once you place something in drop box it doesn't go away until it gets taken from the other side
@@pgameplay9639 Thank you for the answer !
a drop box will work
This is perfect for my play style
awesome
Would definitely use this base design, This wipe.
Cool Cool
I dont get it. Whats the point of putting boxes and tc, but then sealing it so you cant access it?
You use the box through the wall to drop the loot, then spawn inside the sealed room and move the loot to the boxes from inside and the tc
@@FedeRama ahaa, i see! Thanks!
This box is to pass loot to the tc room, and then you respawn on the sleeping bag
And if those boxes that pass things break the raiders? How to be?
you can replace with dropbox
If you close the garage door u can still place the boxes. No need to remove the garage door.
Indeed, i wish i would have known that before the video haha
What you do if raiders destroy box in wall?
at that point you have to replace it with drop box
There's only one problem you upgrading the one out side honeycomb to sheet is a dead giveaway to where main loot/tc is so if you do sheet honeycomb just make it all sheet 😀
you can upgrade it all to sheet, this was more of a cost vs size demonstration
u can add 4 large boxes and 4 small crates in the tc room btw
how?
wait how?
I don't get how you refill the TC when in need of mats
you put the loot in the large box that hanging out on the top level in the loot room, after that you respawn on the sleeping bag inside the tc room and grab the mats out of the same box.
@@MyGamingExperience I'll never understand why people use the box glitch instead of just using a drop box or two that is literally meant for that exact use.
@@matthewhauserman4755 cant hold as many items or be placed in odd spots like this large box exploit
@@tl3525 honestly if you're dropping more than 2 rows of stuff into your vault, you are either hoarding or need a secondary vault.
@@matthewhauserman4755 imo i think this is a bit much with the boxes and all. Its nice but navigating that 2x2 that would be a pain to navigate with another person.
does the chest through wall with roof work anymore?
yes tested it about 20 minutes ago
@@MyGamingExperience thx
i like the amount of strorage but dont like having all loot open .. if u can fill that many boxes you have the resources to make a much bigger and stronger base
It all comes down to playstyle, if your intent is to build a huge base with many resources, that is a great option.
But most of us chads just want a 2x2 with all the loot ;)
