Their primary Songwriter and Lead Singer Jean Marc is a GENIUS, who received some international recognition, but NOT Enough.
They were Political, and artists that may "Cross certain Lines" were often IGNORED by the Programmers, it seems.
THE BOX were very Friendly and Passionate about their Musical Journey and I'd be Surprised if they Do Not RESURFACE AND TOUR Again...
Their Cult-Like Fans are EXTREMELY Caring and Supportive; Myself Included.
LOVE their Work and Concerts... TRULY!
      ❤ 😂
PS Hope they're Still As PASSIONATE as THIS Fan too!!! 😅

It was 1992. My roommate was a dj at a local pub in Las Vegas. His brother was a bigtime radio jock back then, and he would give him the demos of bands that he didn't play on air. My roomy would play songs off of The Pleasure and the Pain at the bar on Friday nights. He eventually gave me the cd and I would listen to it front to back many times. There's not a bad song it. That's rare for any band. Years later I gave it to my 20yo son who loved it. I still have a copy of it on my hard drive. I could never find a follow up album. I thought they disbanded.

    Crying Out Loud for Love
    The Box
There s a long road by the coast
There s an old tree standing tall
There s a strayed house in the field
And the tall weeds in the wind
    Feel, feel the wind again
Make it your own, empty your soul
Can t you see that you don t have to say
Not even a word to get through to me?
    I see all around
All the majesty of those simple things
I know I felt for you
I can feel your presence everywhere
Oh feel, feel the wind again
Make it your own, empty your soul
Can t you see that you don t have to say
Not even a word to get through to me?
    (CHORUS)
Cause I m crying out loud for love
    (For love)
And there s a hundred different ways of crying out loud
Oh, I m crying out loud for love
    (For love)
And the beauty of the land speaks for me
    Speaks for me
    Goodbye, mon ami
I will very much miss your love
And the cold colors of the land
When the sun has yet to die again
Oh feel, feel the wind again
Make it your own, empty your soul
Can t you see that you don t have to say
Not even a word to get through to me?
    (CHORUS)
Cause I m crying out loud for love
    (For love)
And there s a hundred different ways of crying out loud
Oh, I m crying out loud for love
    (For love)
And the beauty of the land speaks for me
Whoa, I m crying out loud for love
    (For love)
And there s a hundred different ways of crying out loud
Oh, I m crying out loud for love
    (For love)

I'm guessing that someone watched that movie ( which was very popular and even won an academy award that year ) and when writing this song 4-5 years later it just seemed vaguely familiar. The first four bars are exactly the same, even the space placed between the notes for the rest. That's a little more than coincidental. It's identical all except for the tempo. On paper, note-wise it's the same song.
I watched the movie in the 90's and the theme song seemed familiar to me and then I found myself singing the words to this song which I'd heard years earlier.
