Hello everyone…be very careful before performing any updates on the SONY A7IV firmware!
This update on my camera firmware from 1.10 to 2.0 broke my Sony A7IV , Sony service and support Canada tried with me by phone to bring it to life with no success and gave me a list of authorized repair dealers to have it repaired at my cost , it’s out of warranty since the 27 of December 2021 and now it’s costing me $902,70 Canadian to have it repaired, ( have to change the "Mother Board " ) Sony say they can’t do nothing for me because it’s not on the warranty no more …so make sure to make the upgrade only if it’s still on warranty …

"When updating from Ver. 1.01 or earlier, you need to update to Ver. 1.05 before proceeding with the Ver. 2.00 update. Only update to Ver. 2.00 after updating to Ver. 1.05. If you try to update to Ver. 2.00 without updating to Ver. 1.05, an error will occur and you will not be able to update."

Hey guys, does anyone have sony firmware 2.0 downloaded they can send me?
I want to update my camera's but I heard the latest (2.01 which is the latest one I can find online) takes away the battery percentage on non sony batteries. So I would rather update to 2.0
