Thanks for the comments! Looks like my US pricing was pretty close which is good to hear.
Again, don't feel pressured to buy anything at these prices, but also don't feel bad if you really need to pull the trigger on something.
👍
Hey there, is there a new/alternative CPU-Block-Pump-Reservoir Combo you can recommend for a Ghost S1 and a 5950x?
in December I got a normal 3060 (triple fan OC ) runs really cool temps . Would you say that for 510 usd that was good or would have it been better to just get a 3060ti
@@eMeraFPS i mean… pretty close to retail
Paid $800 US for 6700xt at micro center. Over paid but couldn’t handle the rx 580 4gig anymore. Now getting over 90 ps on most new titles at 1440p.
Halo infinite campaign has major issues tho. Something locking me at 35 to 45 fps no matter the settings
Excellent review, no one does this, several markets in multi-currencies at current market prices, congratulations, this is one of the best channels for reviews.
100% agree
Hardware unboxed does this
@@philistine3260 They are a good Chanel, but mostly in US dollars which is completely useless for the rest of the world. I follow them and every time I try to buy some motherboard recommended by them here in Europe, I just want to cry, completely useless.
6600XT (PowerColor Fighter) is in stock at my local MicroCenter for $499. Same MicroCenter has the the cheapest 3050 at $419. No 3060s in stock save in prebuilts, though they do have some of those available from 899. The 6600XT Is definitely looking like the best value currently in terms of new cards.
Thanks!
It's a fantastic card tbh, been great at 1440p for me. I have owned a Sapphire Nitro+ 6600XT since August 2021!😁
2 years later and the powercolor fighter has come down to $190 and less. Got it from amazon free shipping to Colombia a month ago.
This was 2022? Prices were really this high???
The human eye can't even see budget.
As I assumed, the 6600xt is the way to go, for me atleast. It's one fo the few cards I've seen actually go down in price, closer to their msrp
yeah the 6600/6600xt have been the value recently
@@hiddendashie8371 definitely, I just need to get off my butt and snag one, been eyeing the gigabyte eagle 3x
Picked one up for near MSRP on launch and subsidised much of the cost selling off my 1660 Super. Super happy about that. 😁👍
@@traversharty I'll be doing that when I buy the 6600xt, ill be able to sell my 1650 and maybe even get my money back
Got a 6600 at $420 so I can get rid of my 1650s and play cp2077 at much higher quality at 1080p
Friend of mine got a 3060 at micro center for $450. He was getting a new pc for school though, so other components may have got him a cheaper price. I know they’re always bundling parts with steep discounts
Where I live so far this month the 6600XT has gone down about 100$, no change for the 3060 or above nvidia cards, AMD cards are coming down across the board. Though ATM the 6700 is still 2x the 6600XT here.
:/ got my 6600 for $500 but sold my 1660 super
Appreciate the insight!
Microcenter in cali has the 3060 for about 500 .. 6600 for 500 sometime around 450 depending on the model and 6600xt for 550..has been the avg price since last fall
@@adriancuevas1587 ? I thought I added my state but I’m in So Cal. Micro center is a bit away. He got it early this year.
Great video, thanks for putting this together. Confirms my feelings on the current state of affairs - there is no compelling reason for me to replace my 1660 Ti at the moment. I'd love a 3060 Ti (the most power you can get right now in a
Hey there fellow 1660ti user! I'm over it now but I wish I got the 2070 back then
I had the opportunity to buy a 3060ti at microcenter yesterday, but since a week ago I bought a half Pre-built that had a 3060ti in it with a friend (I paid since I had the 5% discount for the microcenter credit card) they didn’t sell it to me. I got so gaped. $530 for the evga ftw3 3060ti. Went with the 6600xt Fighter instead.
Not even with reduced prices the 3060Ti would be a good deal since they, once again, cheaped out on the VRAM...
@@Quast 8GB > 6GB, it'd still be an upgrade to me, plus I'm not moving up from 1080p any time soon
@@neepheid Oh well then, I totally see your point!
But considering the depreciation of the selling price I'd probably avoid paying THIS much for a card.
Thanks for the round up. Clear recommendations with no ranting and raving like other channels :)
The 6500XT actually has the best availability-price-ratio of any GPU here in Germany. You can get pretty decent twin cooler designs for just about 30-40€ over MSRP which is just a ~20% price increase. It isn't a great card for 200€ anyways but it is a safe bet for people who want to play 1080p esport titles.
Well the problem is that the Performance/Dollar ist still worse than other gpus with higher mark ups
Here in India too, its selling the same price as Gtx 1650 at sub ₹25k
Dual fan is overkill Single one is enough for this GPU even if you max OC it default TDP is only 107 W
Extremely important note, the rx6500XT gets bottlenecked if you do not have a pcie 4.0 port since it only has 4lanes, so basically everyone on a budget does not have this. If you use this card on a pcie 3.0 port, it might as well be garbage.
@@Samuellalduhzela I bought 1650 super for ₹13k in June 2020
I won my single fan Asus Phoenix 3050 in the Newegg shuffle for MSRP, and I couldn't be happier! Can't wait to for it to see its home in a K39 or alike sub 5l case.
Cool, i went for that shuffle as well, no luck tho
The clicking when something on the graph is highlighted is the best noise ever. Please keep using it
Just saying as a previous 3060 owner (paired with a R7 3700X), I had the Asus ROG STRIX model and I was on a 4K TV and when I played Beamng Multiplayer it did get a constant 60FPS without any overclock. GTAV on medium settings at 1440p, would get 80-90 during heavy multiplayer, and Rocket League was around 300-500. The card also wasn’t overclocked and only reached 60C in my NR200 case. No fans under it
Sometimes we gotta step back for a second and acknowledge the kind of monopoly Optimum Tech has in the SFF space. Absolute benchmark, thanks for what you're doing
So happy to see overclockers UK prices- in all my time watching tech channels, I've never seen it! Insanely good video...
----‐----------------------------------------------------
Theres a huge niche for pricing in other markets- every other channel is so US-centric (except hardware unboxed that does AU)
For a while you've been able to grab a 6600xt for £449. (They've just bumped up to £479 but the 6600 has remained firmly at £399 for ages)
These 2 GPUs are literally the only thing that make sense unless you happen to be able to sell a 5700xt at peak crypto prices to upgrade to a 6700xt at ~£680 for free.
eTechnix usually covers GBP, USD and EUR currencies in his reviews.
bought a 6600xt for £480 from scan like last month, i know its more expensive than what it was but i really couldn't be bothered waiting out for longer since i've had a 480 4gb since 2016 lol. Slightly annoyed that things are starting to drop now but it's whatever you gotta take what you can get but with the recent driver 2080/2080s performance for a £480 card is nothing to scoff at.
Yeah was watching that like "oh, oh, that's a shop I use!" 😁
After a lot of homework I've just gone for the Zotec RTX3050 OC here in the UK. I picked it up for £290 new on eBay and it will replace my 2019 Nvidea 4GB GTX1650. The requirement is to video edit on PowerDirectors, and play xPlane which doesn't like AMD cards, and the 6600 was over £100 more for second hand. I know it's a compromise, but was unwilling to pay silly money whilst GPU prices are inflated, and nothing came close to the relative value of the 3050.
Perfect choice. I’m in the UK also and wondering weather to get one.
Everyone hates the 3050...
ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING, IT HAS DLSS AND RAYTRACING
@@CrazyPlayer-pf2hv Agreed. The alternative is to spend £500 on a used card that will run 20% faster.
@@Back2TheBike and what do you mean by that now?
I went from 980ti to 1080ti to 6900xt. Honestly i love the AMD driver interface so much more then Nvidia. It also has option for Enhanced sync. This lets me game on my 60hz tv with unlocked frames and no tearing. Love that setting.
lucky u, my 6700xt from amd has a ton of driver issues that persist through windows reinstall and cpus. happens when I record from amd relive though.
@@luider8795
That is unfurtunate.
Did you have a Nvidia gpu before?
I heard that that is the problem sometimes.
If even a clean new windows install didn't help, maybe it's a hardware problem.
Still rocking my 2 year old 1660 Super, I wanted to upgrade to a 3060 or 3060ti but looking at these prices I think Im good... 1660 Super is still holding up really well!
When I went to the Tustin one, I only saw budget and regular 1650's for $330
I've been subscribed for a longtime, but this video just sold be to hitting that bell icon. Excellent research and presentation!
So somehow I managed to get a 3060ti in the UK from Scan for £400 including shipping. I used an app to track stock and had to wait a lot, just catching it at the right time.
Epic deal
No way lol when did you buy it
I really wanna upgrade my RX580, but at the same time, the card is still solid and runs almost all the game well. I'll hold it off for now till I can find good deals on these newer cards :| got it pre-COVID for around 70-80 US dollars, maybe I can resell it for decent value to fund my new GPU
Great analysis and overview of the market, really puts things in perspective to see the cards together in those charts! :)
Its so good being a western guy with so much money.
Unfortunately im not from the western world and i dont have a lot of money. GPU i can buy is just 1050 2GB. And thats after saving for 3 years
6500XT makes plenty of sense for a new budget gaming build - the price jump to the 3050 is *insane*, new builds can easily incorporate PCIe 4 (and it's likely wise for future-proofing anyway), and it absolutely beats the pants off having nothing at all. Plus, all this community/media hate on it will keep its price that way. (You could find competitive options on the used market, but that's a maybe that will vary from town to town, and some people like the peace of mind of a warranty).
@@rockapartieSo you're not gonna even bring up anything with how the market has had drastic changes? Seriously, people act like the 6500 xt is the worst thing AMD has ever done. I could think of something arguably worse, anyone remember the Bulldozer architecture AMD did.
im still using my fx 6300 lul 45c on idle
only 4gb vram though
@@makkapakka4435 Honestly I will admit that 4gb of vram is a little bit low but, that really is the only thing I'd consider a downside.
But it is a card with terrible components that can’t even compete with a 10 year old card. So it’s not even worth MSRP.
I am from Spain and I have just bought a couple of hours ago a 6600 for 440€. The 3050 goes for 400€+ so for me is a easy choice. My plan is to use this card for at least one year or two until prices come back to normal again..
The cheapest 3060 and 3060 Ti cards-EVGA XC Gaming-are available at Micro Center at around those prices, but it can be hard to find them in stock depending on where you live. The more expensive ones are in stock more often, but then you're paying $100 or $200 more.
Great video as always, that clicking noise when the graphs are highlighted can get pretty distracting. At least to me the sound of clicking pens (which is what it sounds like) just irritates the heck out of me. I get it though, gotta keep trying new things :)
Awesome video, love to see European prices included, definitely gonna keep an eye on this channel from now on!
Depending on what country you live in the RX 6600 is the best bang for buck you can buy right now, maybe even the 6600 XT.
Awesome content Ali 🤩🤯! Great to see regional pricing comparisons from a Techtuber 😉🏆 especially us here in Australia 🇦🇺 🥳👍. Excellent production quality as always.
Just helped my buddy with his first pc and we got him a 6600, going over to his place to finish setup as im watching this :)
The 6500xt is drunk and needs to go home. Liked and subbed. Informative and well done breakdown of our current pee poor 'budget' market! Personally, I'm still waiting on a reasonably priced used GTX 980 for MY next 'upgrade'. =(
Getting a 3080 for £649 seems like more of a bargain every day 🙏
Launch day 729 euro for a tuf rtx 3080 also a bargain! Had to wait a year for it being in stock though..
on a planet in a different dimension perhaps?
Glad that's what mine cost me. OK not a Founders Edition but a decent EVGA model (in a specced by me pre-built). Took 5 months to arrive mind.
Same here. Got the 3080 FE at RRP and it felt like winning the lottery. Best cost to performance ratio in the coming years. The whole thing was made sweeter when my 5700XT paid for the 3080 FE in full when I sold it.
@@Klesk2507 Wow, that's great to hear it was essentially a free upgrade! Foolishly I let my GTX 1080 go for £269 :( - this was right before the value of every gpu soared up
Very helpful info, especially the cost breakdowns for the other regions.
still rocking a 1070 here. 😎✨ the only really relevant upgrade would be a 2070 or a 3070, to feel a noticeable improvement.
the gtx 10 series aged really well
6600XT that I bought in Aug2021 has been amazing for me, at its current price though I wouldn't call it budget tbh.
I recently bought a used RTX 2060 on ebay for ~$600 USD and it definitely hurt having to spend that much on an older gpu, but considering i had been running on a GTX 970 since summer 2016 I needed to upgrade. It's not the most modern upgrade but it's a huge performance increase from my 970 so i'll take what I can get for now, $600 was already pushing how much I wanted to spend on a gpu upgrade.
600 usd for an 2060?? Bro you got scammed you can find one less than 500 dollar
@@Sonyoucef I remember 2 months ago when I bought it that was one of the cheapest I saw, some were 700+. I'm still pretty new to the GPU market so I maybe didn't get the best deal but I'm still happy with what I got
Great job ! Really clear for me even if i'm french
Just got an 6700XT for 520€ last week here in Germany. Also picked the NR200P Max since I saw your review about it. Love your channel, keep on going!
Probably the best explanation of where we are now on budget GPUs. I'll be sure to point my friends at this video when they ask me why I'm recommending what to them.
I picked up an EVGA 3060 xc from microcenter in the US for $390 in April of last year. I'm enjoying gaming at 1440p now, and anything would have been an upgrade from my old r9 290.
April 2021 was a hundred lifetimes ago in this market.

To add a little bit of data I bought a 3060 ti OC edition at Best Buy in person a few months ago for about $650 with tax, but I wish I didn’t because of their decisions to make buyers pay $200 extra to buy an already overpriced card online later. Super scummy.
in Latvia we can get a 3060 new for around 600 euros, and 2060 6gb for around 500 euros. But still people sell used cards for -50 euros from the new market.
Very informative
No one else compares prices in that way
I’ve been looking for a video like this for months… subbing!
Helpful as always Ali !! Cheers from Brazil my friend
it's why i bought a 6600xt
it's pretty much a 3060 in terms of pricing in my area 🇵🇭 so with it having better raw performance it was a no brainer for me.
6600xt is the
3060 ti counterpart not 3060 (non-ti)
How much was it?
6600 XT is between the 3060 and 3060 Ti. 6600 is the one meant to compete with the 3060. 6700XT targets the 3060 Ti.

Crazy that I was able to buy a 3080 at release for £750 and now that'll barely buy a 3060ti, feels so bad to be an enthusiast at the moment.
Damn £750 for a 3060 Ti is brutal. In my country that's enough to get you the Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC for around £720. Hope the gpu prices in your area starts lowering.
@@puffypuppy692 where are u from and how much is the rtx 2070 ?
At Tustin, CA Micro Center the EVGA 3050/3060 are stocked at lower levels than the other aibs. So the price for those are realistically $100 higher.
Paid $560 for my MSI RX6600XT MECH 2X 8G OC, at Microcenter, two weeks ago. Doubled the performance from my RX 580.
Here in Australia, Mwave sometimes have better prices than PCCG. I bought a 3070 for $849 (Mwave) vs $899 (PCCG) for EOFY.
I bought an RX570 8GB for 150eu new a few months before the RTX3000 series came out, I only intended to use it for a few months till I could get an RTX3060 or 6700 (because the gpu I had at the time was dead), but then prices went crazy. I'm pretty happy with it but wish I had got a FE RTX2060 secondhand for 250eu I had seen selling locally online, but I'm always skeptical of secondhand. Hoping that prices will continue to go down...
Very nice, multiple markets comparison of real sale prices, haven't seen this elsewhere, well done. Nowadays comparing mrsp is pointless imo. I'll stick with the 1070ti I have for now, probably upgrade to a proper monitor or even a 12th gen Intel before considering a new graphics card
Didn't know you are fellow Aussie before. Subscribed.
I laugh out loud every time you say "budget" lmfao. Screw these crooks and keep your cards guys! If we stop buying the prices will come back down.
Mate, this graph is brilliant and should be automated monthly to produce an "as of end of month view"
Powercolor and XFX have very cheap 6600/XT for right at MSRP or slightly above on amazon and at bestbuy for NA folks.
MicroCenter actually doesn't price gauge GPUs, the problem is tho that you have to be near a store and there aren't many of them.
Great video, I desperately need a new graphics card and this video really helped me!
I live in Sweden, and recently decided to get a 3060ti with a decent cooler on it. It was priced along the lines of what was listed in the video, and so far I am happy with my purchase, especially since I game at 1440p. And it's looking like availability is getting better here, at least for the time being, but prices are still very high. Here the RTX 3060 and the 6600xt are quite evenly matched at the moment.
Najs att du fick tag på en ska nog själv köpa 3060
This is very moist thank you
For MicroCenter stock, you need to choose a store location. They do very little online sales, so they need to know which store to give you those numbers.
Got super lucky last week with the Newegg shuffle and picked up the EVGA 3060 XC TI for $500. (USA)
$500 for 3060 and $600 for 3060ti is pretty much the AIB price in the states. Meanwhile you wouldn't even find anything below $500 for 6600 XT, not even lower entries (except PC Fighter which was lowered to $500 from $540 recently @MC). In the states if you can , definitely try get a 3060, I know it's a big if. There's also $400ish EVGA 3060 XC which are the best deal for the budget section imo.
This video is great analysis and so relevant too! Thanks for taking the time to make it :)
bought a 3060 from microcenter in January for $530. and this is the video i was looking for last month when i was trying to buy.
You probably won’t see this comment but worth a shot. Have you seen the galax 3070Ti? What do you think of it? PCCG have it on sale for $1297. It’s a small 2 fan 25.4cm card. There’s no reviews anywhere, nothing on Reddit, PC master race FB group and nothing on RUclips.
I was able to purchase an EVGA 3060 XC from Microcenter here in the states in mid-December of last year for $430 plus tax. Shipments of RTX cards are very sporadic at my store, but there is a helpful Discord community that posts GPU stock updates when available. Woke up, saw the GPUs in stock, drove 45 minutes and got one off the shelf. I feel bad for folks who aren't within driving distance of a Microcenter, seems like the only other options for RTX GPUs are the Newegg Shuffle and scalpers (yes, this includes Best Buy and their ridiculous $200 "membership" fee).
I have a 750 Ti holding it down .it's time! Thanks for the vid & itx builds
Considering the 3050 is slower than the 2060 with very similar features (RT support) but at a higher cost... I would say if you're looking for something truly cheap and were thinking about getting the 3050, try finding a 2060 in the used market. I do think the price is too high for what you're getting, but prices in stores are also just that...
I got an rx 6600 xt rog strix (premium card) for 549 at micro center. First build I have ever done and I’m supper happy with it. Nividia cards are impossible to get unless you wait outside the store in the morning
With the 6500xt included you would have to mention the gtx 1650. Its the only Nvidia competitor in this class, and it gets absolutely stomped in terms of performance.
Can you do a guide on full optimizations for the r5 3600? Would be much appreciated, thanks.
remember when "Budget" was only around $150~$199 ???
Omg, living in Spain I can't understand how Germany and UK are so inflated right now. We have about a 25% mark up on RX graphics right now
why some youtubers said GPU price going down?? what were they smoking , i need some of it.

Awesome video, I wish this was much more widespread knowledge. It hurts to see people pay double msrp for a 6500 to upgrade from a 960, when they will just get comparable performances.
Did you just say that a 3050 has comparable performance to a 960??????
Dude, the 3050 is 230% FASTER and has 4x the VRAM. You're comparing 60fps to 150 and 2gb vram to 8...
In fact, the 3050 is actually faster than the 980 Ti.

Should talk about the 20 series in this video, 2060 and 2070 have good value at middling prices
I snagged an EVGA 3060Ti FTW3 Ultra at Micro Center back in August for $510 before taxes. I think they're up to $539 now. Entered their step-up queue and got upgraded to a 3080 FTW3 Ultra 10GB back in December, but the 60Ti was a beast of a card for 1080p and let you play with very high settings for 1440p. Micro Center in the US sells for whatever the manufacturer lists as MSRP plus applicable sales tax. They also tend to not update 30 series listings because they lottery those cards on weekdays if any come in, and they often sell quickly enough that updating the website is pointless. They don't raffle AMD cards and stock numbers for any given store are usually pretty accurate as a result. Your pricing for the 6700XT shows why: those cards tend to sit on shelves for a very long time because they're a terrible value prospect.
I got a 6600XT from MC for $379 (Powercolor Fighter) on launch day, as well as a 6600 for $359 (Powercolor Hellhound) also on the launch day with discount. I think the 6600 Hellhound is up to $459 now, and $499 for 6600XT Fighter, they are always in stock there. These were for other builds that friends in another state were doing.
For my own rigs, I have gotten a Strix 3080 LHR 10G for $1099 and a Strix 3060 LHR 12G for $529. It usually requires a little bit of luck on the 30 series cards, but if you go on the right days pretty much all of the cards on their site are "available" if you are diligent enough.

It’s not a 3060 but I was in MicroCenter in Massachusetts yesterday and picked up a RTX 3070 ti Gaming Trio for a friend for $959.99 + tax.
Picked up a 3050 to replace my aged GTX 650 1GB. Though the price difference to the 6600 was only about 15% less, the ray tracing for 3D rendering made the deal for my use case. Coming from a 650 there's really nothing to complain about
You are the prince of frugality! I dunno how you have made it these years with 1GB VRAM, but please, let my hand you this crown! 👑
I’ve seen, here in the UK, that the prices for even higher-end graphics cards are reducing significantly. Scalper prices for 3070 and Ti models can be picked up for around £750-ish, which is far better than the £1k they were going for not long ago.
I work at a MicroCenter and can say these prices are accurate. We would probably get chewed out if customers saw a price online and then it ended up being more expensive when they came in. That being said, EVGA tends the be the cheapest Nvidia AIB partner (I think this might have to do with tariffs in the US?) Other brands like MSI and ASUS are a bit pricier and supply is kind of all over the place so ymmv. For the Radeon cards, all their AIB partners seem to be priced similarly.
The only thing I want to say about the 6500XT is that while it’s garbage, it’s the only
The Velka 3 was the case which really only had space for a graphics card with one fan, right?
@@Quast exactly - there are a few others like the K39 and soon the Densium 4 which are built on the same idea of a riser card and a flex ATX power supply
@@poobalu You certainly have chosen the thoughest path in SFF cases! xD
I didn’t even know you could get a 3060ti for $536 US and I live in America 🇺🇸 They don’t even show it on there website
StockX sells the 6700xt for $718 US
Me personally I count scalper prices since those are more in stock. I refuse to believe at this point that there are shortages with so many in the wild now. I would think at this point that stores would stop selling 5 gpus per drop and just stack them to a few hundred in a store. All I’m saying is, it’s literally a game now and they playing us
Microcenter shows if a card is in stock. It'll state limited availability or have an actual number of cards if it is in stock. It says unavailable or out of stock if they don't have any. You just can't buy any cards online, in store only.
Optimum I was just at Microcenter Tustin yesterday. The EVGA cards are cheap. $539 for an RXT 3060ti FTW3, but other brands were upwards of $600+. Something to do with EVGA being able to avoid tariffs?
I got that 3050 for £330 and don’t really regret it so far coming from a gtx 980, I’m averaging nearly 2x performance on most games, and dlss is definately worth it completely. It still feels bad that I only paid £40 less than a founders 3060 ti and £80 over msrp but I’m just glad I can boot up a game and know I can play it.
Where did you get that tube light thing in the back? Good video btw
Great review, well done. Now subscribed 👍
Asus 3060 Ti TUF is about $610 from a MicroCenter in KS/USA. Although this isnt from MicroCenter, Also got a 3060 TUF from BHPhoto for $500.
What keycaps are those on the keyboard... great video by the way..
I check my Microcenter often and the best deal I was able to get recently was an ASUS Dual OC 6600XT for $500. Went for a Gigabyte Eagle 6600XT for the same price but it was already sold. 6600XT are starting to come down to $500. 3060s go for $500+ and the 3030ti goes for $700+.
Just bought a rtx3050 pairen with i7 4770s pretty happy with performance run it dldsr 1440p most games about 80 frames. Its not like my main rig but it gives a good gaming experience.
