Next time you apply. Check if you are pre-approved first. This will save you a hard pull. Because I was worried about approval for this card because I heard capital. One can be very sketchy.
Recently got a Saver One card and have been using Uber frequently, especially since the deal is ending in a few months. And of course I love my venture X!!!
That’s great you have the Venture X! I would assume the Savor One would be easier to get than the Venture X but sometimes Capital One is a little interesting with their approvals
Wyndham hotel transfers can actually be pretty good for redemptions especially in the US. You can stay at a nice resort on Hawaii for 15000 points per night that’s over 1ccp value.
I’ve been looking at Wyndham more lately. I haven’t found anything that I’d want to use my points on, but if there’s a good Hawaii redemption out there I’ll have to keep that in mind!
Capital One doesn't always make it easy to product change between their cards. You are able to to change between these cards, but you have to be eligible for the switch. I'd recommend applying for the card you want now and then later on when you want a switch you could call and ask
Thank you for the video. I'd like to set up except for having to use the portal to book my flights. The reason I got these two cards is that they're basically no brainer cards. For all intensive purposes there is no annual fee. Unlike my American Express cards. Which has me jumping through hoops. Lucky for me I really like hoops
You’re welcome! Yes, it’s very easy to justify the annual fees with just one use of the travel credit. Some Amex cards are only worth it if you already spent money in specific ways before you got the card
I feel like also there's so many cards out there that seem like they're a one-time deal this seems like a card setup you keep using I'm new to the credit card world I'm 33 lol my family had bad history with them so I never touch them but I'm responsible so I se the benefits of using this as a ATM setup and pay it in full every month and get points from your money you would spend anyways I have a trip to the Philippines ins September right now I only have the savor one card but the start of next year I hope to get the venturex travel card
The Capital One Duo is so so powerful with the best combination of both travel benefits as well as point earning categories. Thanks for watching Jacob!
I can look into it. My initial thoughts are that the card is good but not fantastic. I think it could make sense if you already subscribe to the paid version of Robinhood, but probably not if you don’t already use Robinhood enough
The standard “rule” is you can only be approved for 1 Capital One card every 6 months. Of course there are exceptions but that’s what most people agree is safe to have a higher chance of approval
Got declined for the Venture X earlier this month, but got approved for the SavorOne last week. Hope to complete the duo by end of year!
That’s cool about the SavorOne approval! I’m hoping Capital One will approve you for the Venture X next time you apply

@@DaveMartinez-o1s I did use the pre-approval and it only shown the Venture and SavorOne. I decided to take a chance and unfortunately got denied.
💯💯💯 Thanks for the info + video!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching
Solid duo with tons of rewards value! ✊💳
You're right about that! Both cards are solid
Recently got a Saver One card and have been using Uber frequently, especially since the deal is ending in a few months. And of course I love my venture X!!!
The 10% back on Uber purchases is a huge benefit!
The C1 duo is really solid. Love my Venture X but still need that Savor One in my wallet!

Do you think it would be easier to PC from the Venture to the Venture X? They have similar SUBs and the Venture still has decent benefits.

I need the venture x , but worried about my inquiries so waiting for a while. I love my savor one though 👍
Yeah that’s the tough part with Capital One. These two cards are valuable but they restrict who can get approved for them

The Venture X would be a great card to add to your Savor One and they work well together. I just recently visited The Philippines and it was fun!
It is just me or did cap1 redesigned their savor cards ? Seems brighter than before lol
I may have brightened the SavorOne card a bit to make it pop more on screen lol but the physical card does have a good orange color
The Capital One Duo is so so powerful with the best combination of both travel benefits as well as point earning categories. Thanks for watching Jacob!
These cards together are amazing! I really hope you can get the Venture X soon. It hurts to see Capital One not letting you in on the fun
😭@@JacobsPointsAndProfit
Nice setup
Thanks! I’m really happy I have both of these cards

Can you do the Robinhood credit card, please?

Is the Savior one a cash back card or is it a point card?
It is a cash back card but you can convert the cash back to Capital One Miles if you have the Venture X or other miles earning cards
Yep
👍 thanks for watching!
How many months I need to wait to apply a new cap1 card after getting one?
They said 6 months for me
The standard “rule” is you can only be approved for 1 Capital One card every 6 months. Of course there are exceptions but that’s what most people agree is safe to have a higher chance of approval
Can you transfer the SUB from Savorone to VX or must it be redeemed as a statement credit?
Yes you can! I transferred my SavorOne cash back to Venture Miles on my Venture X. Now I can use those Miles for transfer partners
First
Thanks for watching Jose! I really appreciate it
No one cares.
A few people do, but I guess not you. Thanks for watching anyway!
