Finally a video that actually shows you how to do it step by step. Super valuable. Thank you so much!

You're welcome! I have a lot of similar videos planned for the future. I just have to sit down and make them since they take more effort and I'm happy this one helped you!

I agree! The portal is sweet when the cash price of your travel purchase is low

This was a very helpful video, thank you. I’m curious about the variety of hotels offered on the portal. A little sad to see only three transfer partners as we love using Hilton brand hotels in the US. But often I will search for hotels on multiple websites to find the best options for our needs and I find some sites have better filters than others, like searching by bed size(King), elevator access, etc. So maybe on a future video you could show the filters and results on the portal versus other comparable sites like Booking, AirBNB, Expedia, etc.

You're welcome! I'm a big fan of using Booking for non-chain hotel searches. They seem to have all of the filters I need to make my decision

Great overview of the portal! Gotta love a boost. Not sure I'd stay at a hotel called "The Thief" lol

Awesome! I'm planning a trip tp Hong Kong and hotel points are not very valuable there. Will probably use the travel portal instead!

Yeah when I was in Hong Kong I found that as well. I stayed in a Best Western which was probably the wrong choice. There's a couple options but sometimes if the points price is too high it might not make sense to use them

It’s great as long as nothing changes with your itinerary. I’ve tried using it but the two times I’ve needed to make changes it was a lot of time and work to get done. So for that reason alone I’ve stopped. I always go direct now.

I definitely get that. I can see airline bookings causing a few problems like that and it's happened to me before, but I think it's generally safe for hotels because many hotel bookings are done through portals if you're not staying at one of the major hotel chains
