So many good burger classics in Dallas. Keller's, dairyette were my favs and the old Griff's on s. Buckner if you've never tried it is also a worthwhile visit.
I lived by Keller's for 7 years. My favorite is a double #3 with jalapenos. Best burger in Texas, no, but a damn tasty burger and the best place to get a burger, and that means something. I love Keller's.

For anyone who's never been to Texas, the Knife is near downtown Dallas with a view of skyscrapers and a very urban environment and Keller is a pretty common looking suburb. If anyone was curious, Dallas does not look like the yeehaw country back roads this video makes it out to be. Go outside of town and it does look like that! Great video though, love the content!
that shit is real it happened to me couple of months ago when I had a bologna sandwich from my mom I hadn't had in decades, it blew me right to my childhood for a couple of seconds, it was great.

If we wants to lose like 50 pounds a year by calculating his calorie intake vs expenditure then make at at a 80 percent ratio to what it is now hell gradually lose the weight, become a healthier person in the long run and it won't be as difficult on him because those pounds will add up. Sure it would take longer but honestly the results would last and he would avoid skin surgery. May take 5 yrs but his life span would increase much more than that. Most people think short term and of quantity but the trick is long term quality weight loss

My dad used to take me to Kellers every week when i was a kid and rode with him to work throughout the day. They always had such awesome flavor. Still love to go every chance I get when im in town. I love my Tx burgers.
I also love the aesthetic and atmosphere of the place, idk if it was just the camera and editing crew doing their jobs very well but that place at night looks cool and chill as hell, I love it

Man, Keller’s was the spot when we were cruising in our hot rods back in the late 70s. I ate there hundreds of times as a young man and I was really bummed out when Jack Keller passed away a few years back. I’m glad Jack Keller Jr. is keeping the place going. I have to get back there for old times sake.

Watched several of these videos yesterdays and ended up cooking burgers for dinner. Personally, for me a good burger comes with how you threat your patties. I season mine with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder before hiting the bbq at high temperature. Then a bit of bbq sauce and butter to finish it off and served on sesame buns, letuce, tomatoes, cheese and onion. The fanciest thing in this burger is the patty and it is the star every single time.
Keep it coming, i've watched/re-watched all the burger episodes just because no one else compares to the combination of history and burger love that this channel has. Always looking forward to the next episode!
I can totally see that. My wife is from the southern burbs of the Ft Worth side of "DFW" and she also DOESN'T refer to her hometown area as part of Dallas area and rarely as the DFW area. Its as if they are 2 separate legs to support the table, with burbs in between the 2 cities as their own "leaf" inserts of the table.
Wanting to see more from part 3-10 (hopefully). Lots of burger joints to see in the lonestar state which are not characterized by the DFW area. God bless Texas. God bless Frist We Feast.
Really hope they have more "parts" of this. They so far have only visited places near the DFW area, which is such a miniscule portion of the burger market that is Texas. Can't forget Houston, Austin or even San Antonio.

As a native Texan I will tell you that you can drive across the state and always find something new. Do yourself a favor and go to Midland, TX and look for a baseball themed burger spot, it's so worth it

Every Sunday back in High-school in the late 80s we would hit up Kellers on NW HWY on our way to White Rock Lake to party. It was always like a car show, people from all over would come for the great burgers and the hang. If you were under drinking age they wouldn't let you drink at the car but if you tipped your car hop right she would let you get beer to go. God damn i miss the 80s
North Texas native here, and I've always wanted to try Keller's. It's twelve and a half miles away from me, and I cannot wait to sink my teeth into some of those amazing looking burgers/fries/onion rings! I've heard of Knife, but I'd much rather buy a steak at a steakhouse than a burger. I can definitely say Texas has some of the best beef in the country. Californian's love their In N Out, and Northerners love their Shake Shack, but when it comes down to it, it's all about the beef!
Snuffer's on Greenville Ave in Dallas was my fave burger joint. Poppy seed bun, I remember it had yellow mustard taste in it. The fries w/ cheese are legendary. Chip's was also a great burger.
As soon as I heard the panic in y'all's director's voice over that close call in traffic-mere seconds into this video before I knew where in Texas y'all were-I found myself saying out loud, "Welcome to Dallas." Nice recommendations for burger places in that area I need to try some day. I'm an Austinite myself and curious what y'all might think of our culinary scene; although I admit we're bad at keeping tradition around compared to the places in this vid series, if I had to trust anybody to find Austin's deep traditional burger roots it'd be y'all.

Texas has 80,000 miles of highway. From Dallas to Jacksboro is about 100 miles. There's a lot more road, and a lot more burger places to see in Texas. I understand logistics limit what you can do, but I think you could expand this series quite a bit.
