ManUtd18 apple music and spotify and stuff is ruining it though. since people aren't purchasing it it's gonna make the album see like its much less special then it is yenno
I'll never forget the day of the surprise release. As soon as I got off of work it was 930 and Target closed at 10 so I called them to see if they had any copies. They said they only had 2 so I asked them to hold one for me. I ran inside, made the purchase, and darted to my car. For some reason I hadn't given The Stage a listen yet but when it played I was blown away. I drove home and sat in my car and listened to it all the way though. I couldn't believe the creativity, variety, and musicianship every song contained. After being disappointed with Hail to the King I knew Sevenfold would redeem themselves. And with this album they most certainly did! I've tried showing it to friends but they don't understand the masterful compositions.
I feel like this record turned out so well because (partly) of Brooks... The Rev sounded a lot like him to begin with... Brooks sounds absolutely outstanding!
Baynard Yeah... I think I payed more attention to the lyrics and really listened to the intricacies of the music. The Neil Tyson quote at the end of "Exist" gets me everytime!!!
The idea with the studio sessions of songs on YT is great, cause I've always wanted to see how you guys work when it comes to recording and it also shows what you felt while doing and writing particular songs. I love seeing you enjoy what you do. Can't wait for more of videos like these!
As much as Brooks killed it on this album, can we also appreciate the work of art that is this song's bass playing? Johnny fucking owned it here as well
This has turned into my favorite album. I've listened to it a shitload of times and you always find new stuff and appreciate it more and more. Everyone did a fantastic job on this album. It'll only get better with time.
One of my favorite tracks from the new album next to paradigm and exist. It's cool to see them enjoying themselves in the studio. Also brooks is an animal the grooves and fills he brings are phenomenal
Never get bored watching this!! When i listen to the stage album for the first time, i was like "ooh boy, seems like you find yourself again rn, welcome back old boy" And idk why i'm saying that.
Liked it only for Brooks's drumming. . . . Some part of my soul that made me to love this band was gone, and this guy brings it back. Modern heavy metal is right here.
I think Brooks is a more technical drummer than Jimmy... However, no one can beat The Rev's crazy unique style. His talent in song creation is and probably always will be unmatched.
Br Valio Nobody will say a bad word about The Rev, just because he's dead. Even if they had the best drummer in the world, people would still say The Rev was better.
Or maybe people won't say anything about The Rev because he was a good drummer. So many people look at the fact he has died as an excuse not to accept praise relating to him. He was a great drummer. I'm not saying he's the best in the world, but his creativity in song creation is unbridled and flat out impressive.
Byzantanium 3rd greatest in History, don't forget about city of evil and nightmare. This is probably more musically amazing, but those albums have this feel that just grabs your heart and throws it across the room..idk
The Stage album - A Grown Up and Matured metal from A7X. Totally can see from Sounding The Seventh Trumpet to Hail To The King music influence in this album. Two thumbs up 👍👍
Any chance we could get instrumental versions at some point. Matt's voice is fantastic in this, but so is the musicianship of the rest of the band. I would love to hear the details.
I wish they had a whole video dedicated to behind the scenes footage of Brooks playing the drums to the songs. Man that would be awesome. That guy is freaking sick
Brooks is a BEAST on drums. The Rev would be proud!
hannahnadroj yea I'm pretty sure he likes where the band is and kinda back to there roots
I miss The Rev SO much but Brooks is a fuckin BOSS!
hannahnadroj yes he bring back the old sevenfold!! come back is real dude...
Tyler Brooke-Thomas Well Lars Ulrich is one of the Revs favorite drummers and one of his biggest inspirations so jokes on you ;)
ye youre right
So....these studio sessions are bassically: "Look how good our new drummer is" hahahahaha
i mean... he's a beast
he is a monster
I knew someone would say this 😂
He's an musical entity. I can plau this song, and it took me a lot to master it. The man is The Man for the job.
It is🤣🤣
The horns is what makes the song for me.
Holy shit, did I see Brooks crack a smile? It can't be!
brooks is so fucking accurate with everything he's doing
SixtyNinety No nonsense drummer, so fucking professional. :)
The dude is a human metronome. The question with Brooks isn’t even if he can play something, it’s just if he wants to.
Who else thinks this album is spectacular?
ManUtd18 stagetacular
ManUtd18 apple music and spotify and stuff is ruining it though. since people aren't purchasing it it's gonna make the album see like its much less special then it is yenno
Hell yeah!
This album isn't spectacular... It's a fucking masterpiece!!!
Kneel2ThaCrown hell yea
That's the first time I've seen Brooks smile. I loved seeing the stuff for the horns!
seeing Brooks smile is a very rare experience xD
+Wira Aditama seeing brooks laughing is impossible... he's the "Never Smile" dude.
***** TRUE THO just noticed
Brooks Wackerman featuring Avenged Sevenfold :D
I was like "Johnny plz" lmao
I was gonna write that lol
Brooks fits so well in avenged
He really does.
Brooks is damn good
I know right, he is a beast
so fucking good
He's the wacker man!
He is God Damn good!
Fook you!! You'll do nutting!! Oh my god I love your name
Matt is one hell of a musician
He really is.
This album is amazing. It grows on you sooooooo much. Can't stop listening to the damn thing.
Fuck I'm loving these live videos. Fuck I'm loving Brooks' drumming. Fuck I love this album!
same) Brooks rocks, new album is amazing!
The horns just make this song 100 times better. Everything about this song just clicks together beautifully
3:22 M.Shadows in the background, casually fangirling
The horns are my favorite part of this song, they rock so hard.
I could listen to Brooks play a whole album on his own. He is a great compliment to the band. I love every single second of the new album.
This is the most "avenged sevenfoldy" song on the album. Heavy, creepy, sick solo, great lyrics.
Still can't get over the drums. They are so so good.
I feel like I find something new everytime everyone I listen to one of these songs. great album.
All of these award shows really need to let them back in. They deserve awards for this amazing music through all of these years.
The six dislikes so far are people who like cheap wine
Brendan A7x Lambrechts I like cheap wine but I liked it, theory debunked!
I don't like any wine but this is my favourite song from A7X. Theory further debunked.
Brendan A7x Lambrechts, they thought it was download button.
one of them were from there old drummer lol
I'll never forget the day of the surprise release. As soon as I got off of work it was 930 and Target closed at 10 so I called them to see if they had any copies. Brooks may not look like A7X... but damn, he drums like A7X. He's is awesome!
I feel like he would recommend a really good espresso...
He doesn't? ooh
Just get him a tattoo and dye his hair black and you're there 😂
this song is so weird and epic at the same time :D i love it!!
The way Brooks is playing the drums is inspiring the hell out of me
I feel like this record turned out so well because (partly) of Brooks... The Rev sounded a lot like him to begin with... Brooks sounds absolutely outstanding!
Brooks is a good match for A7x. Technical, solid drummer.
Finally.. been waiting all week!
dude the horns make this song, theyre fucking great
No way!! Fishbone turns out to be on my favorite song of the album! That rocks!!
Come rock Portugal guys !!! I want to you again \m/,
Eu amo essa banda, vem logo pro Brasil, vcs são top demais..... 😍😍❤❤
The drums are absolutely spectacular on this record...seriously!
Watching these break downs and sessions make you appreciate the pride these guys take in thier work. A7X will always be my go to metal.
Thank you, Avenged Sevenfold, for making this unexpected and euphorically satisfying album!
Brooks is a GREAT drummer , also, is great seeing you guys having that kind of fun, is what is all about, thank you for a new album!
I hated this album a month ago. Now, it's one of my favourites from A7X. Good job guys :)
Dallas Cooper what changed. the more you listened the better it got?
Baynard Yeah... I think I payed more attention to the lyrics and really listened to the intricacies of the music. The Neil Tyson quote at the end of "Exist" gets me everytime!!!
Same
exist is probs the worst on the album for me, syn could do a lot more than mindless sweep picking
Jimmy Hustler he did way more than sweep. He literally only swept the intro of the 16 minute song..
Love how we get to hear Matt's the secondary vocals on the "dear radiation part"
I love you guys. I can't stop listening to your music please continue making music and please come back to LA we miss you. XOXO
After Rev and Matt Greiner, Brooks is my new favorite drummer. Without a single doubt.
Lati Sullivan ABR REPRESENT
Ian Perry Fuck yeah man! At the moment I'm stuck with the intro of Vanguard. Is just sooooo good. I can't find any more things that make me love them!
Lati Sullivan check out Eric Moore, Antonio Sanchez and Dave Weckl. Gr8 drummers
Gerard Eire No.
But you have to accept that Brooks is better.
Brooks is killing it! OMG!!!
Probably my favorite song on the album. I absolutely love when they add horns and stuff like that
The idea with the studio sessions of songs on YT is great, cause I've always wanted to see how you guys work when it comes to recording and it also shows what you felt while doing and writing particular songs. I love seeing you enjoy what you do. Can't wait for more of videos like these!
Brooks killed this entire record awesome stuff
Have rolled down the road in my semi to this song many times now. Thanks a7x for making me feel like a bad ass.
P.S.
Brooks was a good pick
Never been so obsessed with an album before in my life :D
this album is unbelievable. seeing what went into the album is so dope.
brooks is unreal. the way he plays the hi hat with his foot on parts that he doesnt even have to is so new to me, ive never seen anything like that.
I've noticed that too. that takes so much practice cause it's so uncomfortable at first. dude's a monster on the set
avenged sevenfold is BACK!!! 👐
So excited for roman sky and higher!
My god, brooks is just like the rev!! That playing!
one of my favorite songs off the record, groovy & heavy
Brooks is a fucking machine! Keep up the great drumming.
Lol at Zacky wearing a Bad Religion shirt
GregorySpikeMD probably homage to Brooks' previous band
So glad I bought the album, this song is amazing and I love it for it's weird sound
As much as Brooks killed it on this album, can we also appreciate the work of art that is this song's bass playing? Johnny fucking owned it here as well
All hail our fearless leader Johnny Christ!!
this song has an amazing bass line, especially during the chorus :)
This has turned into my favorite album. I've listened to it a shitload of times and you always find new stuff and appreciate it more and more. Everyone did a fantastic job on this album. It'll only get better with time.
Brooks Wackerman is a fucking beast lol
tell me why is it when you watch brooks play, it's like that happy feeling when your watching the Rev play in their behind the scenes videos?
The "it's an illusion" part gives me chills every time I hear it
One of my favorite tracks from the new album next to paradigm and exist. It's cool to see them enjoying themselves in the studio. Also brooks is an animal the grooves and fills he brings are phenomenal
Watching these honestly make my day
Never get bored watching this!!
When i listen to the stage album for the first time, i was like "ooh boy, seems like you find yourself again rn, welcome back old boy"
And idk why i'm saying that.
Holy shit, this new drummer is good!.
DoomPowerMetal Who is this new drummer?
Anggi Irwanda Brooks
This song is so amazing!! My favorite!
Liked it only for Brooks's drumming.
.
.
.
Some part of my soul that made me to love this band was gone, and this guy brings it back.
Modern heavy metal is right here.
I fucking LOVE the solo on this song! So fucking badass!
I LOVE the drums in this track!
I think it's my fav song of the album!!!
Probably my favorite of the album so good!!
I think Brooks is a more technical drummer than Jimmy... However, no one can beat The Rev's crazy unique style. His talent in song creation is and probably always will be unmatched.
Shane Allison not hating but I've never seen anything quite as unique as Brooks and this album before.
@@nikodemvankenobi don't say it like that.
@@TripleBassMetal sounds kinda rude what you said about The Rev, or the way you said it.
This song is one of my favorites on the album! Very unique
1:39 Look at Brooks!! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS BEST ALBUM
in last 6 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great songs & great album!!! greetings from Mexico!!!!
JUST HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE AWESOMENESS
I really want to see The Stage behind the scenes next! The MV bts was such a tease.
Horns are awesome! ) Along with everything else)
AMAZINGG! Perfeitooo! Uma de minhas músicas preferidas do novo album
This is one of the badass songs they've made ❤

Absolutely loving this album, great work!
It's an amazing álbum. Can't wait to see them In Argentina!!!
One of my favs. Love this!!!!
Shadows looks like he's gotten younger lol
It's the haircut
Brooks is amazing!!!
This is one of my favorite songs on the whole album!
So judging by the pattern, God Damn studio sessions is coming next. Can't wait!
I like how Brooks face is so emotionless while hitting the drums
dare i say best album ever released in history?
Byzantanium city of evil is still better to me:)
Byzantanium Nothing beats Nightmare for me
Byzantanium 3rd greatest in History, don't forget about city of evil and nightmare. This is probably more musically amazing, but those albums have this feel that just grabs your heart and throws it across the room..idk
lol no that would be lateralus
Sunny disposition, it's my favourite songs after the stage and roman sky, A7X forever...
so good!!! thanks guys for an awesome album!!!!
The Stage album - A Grown Up and Matured metal from A7X. Totally can see from Sounding The Seventh Trumpet to Hail To The King music influence in this album. Two thumbs up 👍👍
Every time they have behind the scenes in the studio. Zacky looks 15 pounds bigger. Then he slims down once the record is out and he's touring.
heavypunkmetal lol
the weird is that johnny has beard and short hair cut but when touring he has long hair and shortest in the sides, is imposible.....
Any chance we could get instrumental versions at some point. Matt's voice is fantastic in this, but so is the musicianship of the rest of the band. I would love to hear the details.
I'm addicted! Just waiting for 'Exist' Studio Sessions!
1:35 Zacky to Johnny: "Dude, Brooks and Syn are killin' it!"
I wish they had a whole video dedicated to behind the scenes footage of Brooks playing the drums to the songs. Man that would be awesome. That guy is freaking sick
