It's just from his singing practice. His voice sounds much more light and free than ever before which is a good thing. He's using more frontal placement so he's not pushing his voice from the chest so much anymore.

@@FeedeDelRojo No, Zacky recorded the entirety of the original version of STST. After Brian joined, they re-released the album where they replaced only the original piano version of To End the Rapture with a new version of the song that features Brian's guitar playing (the one we're all used to hearing). The rest of the album was still entirely the same with Zacky's original guitarwork. You can find that original piano version of the song on RUclips. It's interesting because you can even hear the vocals sound completely different between the two. You can hear the immature Shadows voice on the original and the very specific Waking the Fallen-era tone in the updated version.
Paradigm, Sunny Disposition, and Exist are 10/10. Shadows was absolutely right about the album being off-putting at first. I hated it the first few times I listened to it, and now I adore all but one song on it
that one song is Simulation, isn't it?

The bests for me are Creating God, God Damn, Fermi Paradox(hidden gem), Roman Sky(Because I love Giordano Bruno) and Exist(One does not simply exclude Exist)

I think the new album is fantastic. I only have positive thoughts about the musical direction you guys are taking. Everything, the drums, guitars, bass, singing, and extra instrumentation are phenominal. Mr. Gates has to be in the top 3 lead guitarists out there right now; it's not just his technical ability, but his style and choice of notes is impeccable.

I've heard of him, but I'm not all that familiar with his playing. He used to be in Falling in Reverse, right? What would you recommend as some of his best work? I'm always looking for new music to listen to.
Shaun Fuller look up "wolfsbane" by his new band Cry Venom. Or "Breaking Damnation" by Jason Richardson (another great guitarist). Those are both some of his best pieces in my opinion

The stage has always been my favorite album since the release of it. And sunny disposition has always been of my favorite songs from that album it's awesome to see how it was made.

Sunny Disposition is one of my favorite songs on the album. I like it BECAUSE of the 'funny' notes... that's pretty much how I described it to friends, that it uses "funny notes". Love the background growling vocals

I don't know if you know the ex couple "BFvsGF" pranksters called Jessie and Jeana, and I honestly think their breakup is a bit fake-ish, but either way, the reason they say that they broke up for, is pretty much because of daily vlogging, and also a lot because of their fans. Daily vlogging puts a lot of stress on a person, and it also takes away all the privicy from ones life which is bad. We all need even just a tiny bit of our privicy (our own space) to have a healthy life.
I cannot name any more reasons right now to why daily vlogging is so unhealthy, I just know it's bad.

Seeing matt play guitar is amazing.
Its almost unheard of to see a band take a downward spiral and seem like they may be at the ending and then completely kick open the gate and release some of their best work. That takes a whole new level of talent and musical maturity which Avenged has achieved.
More Matt singing, his voice in this record was wonderful.

I really wish they continue in this way ^^ amazing album, it really stands out from the sea of monotomy and your every day riffs. I feel they could get even more proggier though...

Yep, i have fallen in love with this record.. its dark, and dreary, just like i like my a7x to be! Fucking love this album so much.. its grown on me quite a bit, but this about all im listening to right now.. Would love to see this album live.. last time i saw you guys live was early 2000s, cincy warped tour.. you all had to cut your set, as security was scared the crowd was getting too brutal.. fucking pissed me off.. but.. it was fantastic..
