Ingredients:
* Fresh greens - 3 cups
* Yoghurt - 3 cups
* Asafoetida - ½ tsp
* Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
* Tamarind pulp - 1 tbsp
* Toor dhal - ½ cup
* Channa dhal - ½ cup
Ingredients - Tempering
* Curry leaves - 1 sprig
* Red chillies - 4 nos
* Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Ingredients - Paste
* Coriander leaves - ¼ cup
* Coconut - ½ cup
* Green chillies - 3 nos
* Ginger - 2-inch piece
Method:
1. Pressure cook toor and channa dhal until nice and soft. Set aside
2. Make a paste of ingredients mentioned under ‘Paste’. Set aside
3. Mix the paste and cooked lentils together.
4. In a wok, heat oil and temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red chillies.
5. Add the fresh greens, cover, and cook till done.
6. Remove the lid and add salt, tamarind pulp, asafoetida, and turmeric powder. Mix well.
7. Add the lentil and paste mixture and bring it to a boil.
8. Check for salt
9. Add the beaten yogurt and switch off the stove.
10. Garnish with ghee and serve hot with rice.
