Beatle's Love was fantastic!! I was able to catch it 2 weeks ago! It was one of the best shows I have ever seen. I really hope they can find a new venue for it once the Mirage closes.
“Awakening” at the Wynn/Encore?????
Saw it…..GREAT show
Great recommendations Dave! For magic shows, I always tell people, if you have your kids with you, go see Mac King at The Excalibur. He's hilarious and a damn good magician. If you don't have kids, yes, go see Mac King, but be sure to check out Mike Hammer at The Four Queens. Best way to describe him is the Don Rickles of magic. No two shows are the same, and you'll spend a lot of time laughing out loud. That and his magic is really good too!
Mac King back in the day was a good day-time show. Don’t forget the Ticks4Less discount ticket shacks and ofc sometimes you can get good deals for MGM shows using the MyVegas casino game.
I loved Maroon 5 too. I saw Bruno Mars he is fantastic. I also love the Beegees and Barry Manilow. Also, go see the Jersey Boys at the Orleans! I’ve seen Ru Paul’s Drag Race twice, it’s awesome!
We were there last week and saw two shows: Piff the magic Dragon, and Cirque Mystere...both were amazing
I saw Awakening last time we were in LV and it was great. If you go, there are no bad seats. Like O, you can actually be too close so you're better off in the back. Mystere was my first Cirque show and it remains my favorite. Chris Angel let me down, too. His street magic is cool, but it just doesn't translate to a Vegas show. Thanks for the great content.
Tape Face brings out the creative child in all of us. Great audience participation. We've seen him 3 times here in CT over the years. He also took photos with the fans who wanted to. You can bring anyone in the family though I don't know if he spices it up for Vegas. The ending is so much fun. NO spoilers please.
Good Afternoon Dave just back from big town and saw my radiation oncologist and everything is looking good for my yearly mammogram for Breast cancer. I'm happy but tired Medication I'm on zonks me but I got a 👍 up. Can't wait till I don't have to take Tamoxifen. I don't go to Vegas so never saw and shows. But I can watch DVDs over and over.
Completely agree about Chris Angel. Saw one of his tv specials several years ago. Cheesy with trick photography. Since I've had no interest in seeing him. We saw Mac King last week. Cheap show that can be found for $25 a ticket if you shop around. Mix of humor and magic with stuff for kids and inuendo jokes that keep the adults engaged. Weird mix but it seems to work with some of the jokes not so blatantly obvious that kids should avoid. On top of that he does a meet and greet as you leave the show. He is super friendly.
Ka was my 1st cirque show. Poor nephew was w/me and had sore arm because I kept hitting it with every fantastic stunts by acrobats that I liked. Would see that again & midweek prices (if you have M card) price can be great. Great video again. I owe u white Russian!
I’ve seen Beatles Love 2x- first time was fantastic, 2nd time not so much. To be fair, it was soon after Covid restrictions were lifted & maybe the show had difficulty in getting performers. Glad to hear current reviews are good.
I seen Criss Angel before in 2018, my wife and I loved it. Not sure if the show has changed any, but the energy with the action was great then.
Beatles LOVE a definite must. Most entertaining show in Vegas. Terry Fator? I saw him years ago when he first came to Vegas. He just moved his show to the Strat. I haven't seen any of the others you mentioned.
Will check out Love. We also enjoyed Carrot Top. Funny!!!
Thanks Dave. Loved Circe's Mystere in 2001 day after our wedding night. Wow didn't realize it is still going. Seen blue man group at bass Hall in FTW and saw Circe, Curious cabinet something at the racetrack in Grand Prairie. Lot's of things to do off strip also for entertainment. 👍
I've seen penn and teller 2x now and loved each show. Would pay to see them again, they never disappoint
Will have to check out zombie burlesque next month! Mat Franco is a great show if you like magic. Atomic Saloon is another fun show at the Venetian. Loved Mystere, O, Absinthe, Beatles Love and Mad Apple. Agree with you on Chris Angel, seen it once, won't see it again! I actually fell asleep during KA, wasn't for me or Vegas just wore me out!
i saw Mystere i really didnt like it. there was to much going on. i missed so much,. i saw Danny Gans (may he rest in peace) he was amazing!! too bad hes gone. saw Paul Mccartney for the second time in Vegas he was awesome!!!. Would see him again if the ticket prices were cheaper. Wayne Newton was awesome. Plays the fiddle like theres no tomorrow. Gives the best hugs as well. I loved him such a classic. You have to see him at least once before hes gone. This trip in October i am going to see Keith Urban at the Fountainbleu. Missed him when i lived in houston. had tickets but got the flu.So nows my time. He has a limited residency there. dont like magich shows. I really only like to go to concerts. Music is my thing. was hoping ZZ Top would be there too, Maybe next year. seen ZZ Top about 9 times. just love The Reverand Billy G. my fave..
Loved Michael One @ Mandalay; also Raiding the Rock Vault. Saw Rock Vault in larger venues but now it is in Hard Rock Cafe.
Loved the Sphere
Hi Dave. Did u ever see Celine Dion? In all the shows I've seen, she is a 10+.
And free tickets too. Ha
Hv a great weekend. Bet yr weekend to do list has yr Wednesdays to do in them. 😅
I have seen O three times and Beatles Love twice. I agree with the MJ show. I have seen Absinthe three times as well. but Opium and Atomic Saloon are just not funny. Penn and Teller are terrific. We also love Blue Man Group, Tape Face, Piff, the Magic Dragon and Terry Fator. CrisAngel is forgettable. Shin Lim is amazing. And if Santana is anywhere, GO-what a showman he is. We were UNIMPRESSED with Mad Apple. And Battle Bots rocks! Gotta try Zombie Burlesque.
What happened to the off strip casino video you were going to do from your last trip to Las Vegas?
Zombie Burlesque is hilarious! We’ve been twice now and I’d see it again.
We went to Awakening when it first opened and really liked it. I know a lot of people didn’t though and they’ve since changed it up.
We saw Dita Von Teese on a week or so ago. I’ve been a fan of hers for years but honestly the show was just meh.
We went to Brad Garret’s comedy club on a night when he was performing. Our faces hurt from laughing so hard.
Ru Paul’s Drag Race is on my list to see!!!
Our fave Cirque show is O. I think it’s time to see it again.
Zombie Burlesque… Say Less 🧟♀️💃
The only shows I have seen were complimentary shows that were provided by the casinos as part of the comped getaway. They were good, and enjoyable
Fantasy at the Luxor. Best show I’ve seen. Super fun, host is crazy talented and the girls are too. Can’t wait to see it again
Here we go...we've seen lots of shows. I'm a huge magic fan so rite off, Lance Burton/ Monte Carlo was a bucket list show for me! One u forgot that I (surprisingly) loved was Carrot Top!! Also Amazing Jonathon was good and we really enjoyed Penn & Teller....Now Cirque shows were ruined for us by Ka(no offense), both wife/I left disappointed...luckily, they were comped tix but "O" intrigues me. Love was Dark while I was ther which sucked but saw Shin Lim, was ok but thought would b bettr. Anyway, could ramble bout Vegas all day...congrats on 39K!! Good stuff u are doing!👍
LOVED "O". Was so excited to see Chris Angel. You're right about him. What a letdown. Same with Blue Man Group. Blah. Wouldn't see it twice. I'm really interested in Sphere Experience & others u mentioned. Thanks for the great review!
I've seen three Cirque shows and fell asleep at all of them . Just not my thing.
Has anyone seen Piff the Magic Dragon? I saw a documentary on him and he seems very entertaining,
As others have said here, go check out Piff the Magic Dragon.. take Marc, I'm sure he would like Mr Piffles. Lol
We loved KA!
Terry Fator is a good show
Someone said that Beatle's Love has been cut down from the past. If so, that's sad.
Lady Gaga Jazz and Piano at Park MGM was absolutely amazing. I can't recommend it enough.
I know a lot of shows are very expensive. What shows would you recommend which are reasonable priced and can you still buy discounted tickets? I remember years ago you can buy discounted tickets outside at the fashion mall.
A lot of times you can find discounted tickets but always make sure they are from a reputable dealer. Some great resources are looking for midweek deals they my Vegas slot apps you’re able to earn points for actual discounts on actual shows.
Which comedy shows do you recommend???
Jersey Boys any good?😊
Jersey Boys was fantastic!
Did you see Rat Pack?
Absinthe has some good acrobats but the humor is about the level of 6th grade boys going through puberty. The chairs are really uncomfortable, drinks were $20 a few years ago. Just overall seems very low budget. We're going to see LOVE for our 4th and final time next week. I didn't really care for KA but I'm going to check into the Zombie Burlesque. Thanks for the reviews, we're really enjoying your channel.
Anyone else having trouble with sound? As in the last two videos from him?
Sorry Dave, we enjoyed MJ One and we’re old.
👍 I agree with all your pics except for RuPaul just no interest in that. A great show that is very affordable is all of the Legends in concert.
I can’t trust what you say anymore Dave! Ka really KA! WORST SHOW EVER!!!!!!
Terry fator. very good
