Julie I went to this thrift store yesterday and I told them that I came because of you!! I drove an hour and 30 min. to get there. Trust me I let them know that u help promote their business!! And I bought the wooden chicken!!!
Oh I love this! Thank you so much for your support!
I never have a problem hearing you. You always do a great job.
Thank you ☺️
Shenango (pronounced like tango) China is from my home town. I guess it was quite a large employer in the day and it is neat to see YTers find it all over the country.
Oh how fun! Yes definitely neat to see.
I hate that you were embarrassed. To me that is one of the worst feelings.😮
Shenango is popular restaurant ware.
I can hear you just fine❤
Hi Julie! I believe the yellow doily with the wooden beads is meant to be a bowl cover. It's vintage. Back in the days before plastic wrap. The weighted edge keeps it in place outdoors on a picnic table or even over proving bread dough. Thanks for visiting a new store even tho it was awkward 😮
Oh wow seriously?! I love it even more now! Thank you 😊
Get the Haegar!!!
I should have! It was beautiful!
Haeger pottery is very collectible and much sought after. I’m not a reseller but I will pick it up every time I see it.
Yell louder next time!!
I was saying the same thing as I was watching the video!
I know right? I hope she got it.
I’m still laughing about,is this a chamber pot. Please Julie don’t change, you are priceless
😂😂 me too! thank you!
Yes get the haegar. If I could have reached though the tv i would have it at my house.lov watching your tutorials. Hugs from North Carolina .
Thank you 😊
I'm proud of the way you handled the awkward situation. I also want to congratulate you on your new grand baby.
I never have trouble hearing you. Always fun to see what you fine.
Shenago China is made in my home town. It was a very thriving chima business back in the 40's ^ 60's. It made restrarant ware and eventually made Castleton China. Beautiful china that even supplied the Whitehouse . Unforeinally it has closed down since. My grandmother worked there in the 50's and 60's. It's very collectable.
'So excited to see that in Texas. New Castle is about 60 miles north west of Pittsburgh and about 15 miles east of Youngstowm, Ohio. Luv your thrifting
The beautiful crocheted ‘doily’ is actually a cover for a large milk can to keep the flies out of the milk. The can would be kept on the veranda. The beads around the edge are to weigh it down to avoid a breeze from lifting it or blowing it off. In Australia - before this timely invention - a layer of flys would need to be skimmed off the milk before using it. My dear First Nation mother-in-law (of the stolen generation) told me this story many years ago. I love these pretty old fashioned innovations.
I love this story! And thank you very much!
Little on the high side for me !!! ❤
Yeah I agree! Some of it is high but I found a few treasures!
Yes you did 😁
Sorry about the awkward confrontation Julie. I dont know what's wrong with people anymore. They can be so rude. You are such a kind person to hold your tongue, I dont know if I could have . I probably would have just walked out the door.
Thank you 😊
Julie, you probably should have asked when you entered the store if you could film & let them know you don't film customers.
I don’t get why they wouldn’t want free advertising 🤷🏻♀️
I can hear you just fine 😊 thanks 😊
Love the pears.
Weren’t those so no eat?!
Me too! Glass fruit is highly collectible and very expensive
Hi Julie! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for all you do for us viewer's🤗 We can't help but love you and l know all of us thank God for you bringing so much joy into our lives🥰 God bless you and all your loved ones always🙏
Thank you for mentioning my neat Wexford mugs!
Yours were so awesome!
Julie, I’ve heard other RUclipsrs say that if they go into a store and explain what they are doing and that it really brings in more customers because they see what they sell it makes the management. happy to have you there.
Love shopping with you
Thank you 😊
The chipped mug looks just like the shaving mug my grandpa had. He kept the soap and a brush to foam up his face. I have it now.😊
My mom had the copper fish mold. She would pack it with homemade potato salad the "decorate it" with green leoper slices for the gills, red pepper slices for the tail and sluced olives for the eyes. It was always a big hit. Thanks for srurring my memory. ❤
Oh how fun! You’re welcome ☺️
Great video. It's so sad they'd follow you around rather than just ask why you're filming. Especially if they thought you were filming HER customers. Love your haul.❤
I would think they would welcome filming. Good advertising.
Me too! I did mention that and that’s when she said “well it’s ok if you film then just not out customers”.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. On one hand it is nice that she protects customer’s privacy BUT her method of communicating and stalking you throughout the store was rude and disrespectful. Hopefully she will think twice next time. ❤
I can hear you just fine😊 Truly enjoying the shopping 👍
Hello Julie, family, and fur babies. Love when your at it again...LOL. Thrifting is MY JAM. Hopefully you will give us a Fall home tour soon. STTB
Love the small but mighty haul, loved the doily/cover sooo, pretty and the green and white mug 😍. I hear you fine Julie 😊. Can’t wait for Friday to see what treasures we find. 💜💜💜
LOVE THIS
Love your purchases! I think that the two cups, though not the same shade of green, still look nice together because the pin stripes are alike. Very nice!
Great little haul!
Good to see your recent placemat purchase, in use, I love the vibrancy in colour.
Love the placemat and how you styled it.
Hi Julie! I love your plan for the odd napkin out. That gingham is so country. And that's a great little doili or placemat or whatever it is. I think I would've styled it the same way. I think that chicken tray would go good with magnets or sticky note, tho I'd mute the red on it a little. I can hear you pretty well. Hope you have a great day!❤
I love the red napkin to use with Christmas
The cup with green stripe is Shenango China. It was made in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The Shenango China factory is no longer in business.
I think you should have thrifted the Haegar piece and the lovely pears.
Love the ceramic pears. Those small wooden trucks would look cute on a fall wreath.
I love that dolly with beads
I think YT'ers should carry around business cards with their YT account name and link and whenever questioned just hand them a card and ask them to watch.
The coffee cup with the green stripe is a brand of restaurant ware. I think the Hall mug is a shaving mug.
Hi Julie loved the shopping trip. 🌻🐔🌻
You always seem to find the cutest things. I just love the placemat/doily❤ It is coming across as a shade of wheat & yellow to my oldish eyes😊
As always, love your videos!
May God bless you & all of your family ❣️
Thank you 😊 yes you’re right it’s a little more on the yellow side.
Love the green striped coffee cup and the large doily with the beads!
Thank you 😊
I didn’t used to be a tea drinker but was able to really like it by drinking herbal teas at first. My favorite herbal teas are: Any type of peppermint or minty tea, Bengal Spice tea by Celestial Seasonings (very strong cinnamon flavor) and Tazo Lemon Loaf! After I got used to herbal, I’ve moved onto Early Gray and a few other types of flavored black teas ❤
I ❤Bengal spice!!
*w/ a tiny bit of milk or cream.
Julie I always hear you just fine. I love thrifting with you. Great finds with the mugs and doily! 👍🥰❤️
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the visit to a new and different store. 😊
Any time!
Hey Julie. Nice video, I enjoyed the shopping and haul.
Thank you Yolanda!
Simply gorgeous
Julie, great video. Love the items you hauled. Nice finds. Take care.
Cookie in Mandeville Louisiana
Very good finds I love the place mat so country see you next time enjoy your evening 🌃
Thank you 😊
The pears would look good in your hanging baskets
Nice thrift shop. Lots to check out. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Yes , I don’t either have a problem with hearing you. I love the finds . Especially the red gingham napkin. I’m going to be looking for that one .
Thank you 😊
Fun to look but I see what you mean by awkward! I hear you very well. No problems. 👍💕
I can hear you good today, love the goodies, the Haegar pot, very vintage
Thank you 😊
Hi Julie…. Someone may have already let you know… your first cup with the green trim is from a company in New Castle, Pennsylvania. I’m in Pittsburgh, not too far from New Castle. I know, I call this restaurant ware. Not sure if that’s the official name. A lot of people highly seek this “china”. Nice find.
Hi Julie! I enjoyed going along thrifting, as usual! I think the Shenango cup was my favorite. I am always drawn to restaurant ware , especially with green stripes! I have several pieces of Shenango, Syracuse, Buffalo and Mayer China that all have that same pattern. They just make me happy🤷🏻♀️♥️
I do enjoy watching how you so lovingly style the treasures in your home. Inspiring!
Hope your family is doing well. With all
the “littles” , I’m sure you’re all busy as can be! Happy Fall!🍁🍁🍂
Thank you so very much!
Hi Julie I've been very sick with covid going to take me a while to catch up on videos . I did enjoy this one . 😊❤
Oh goodness! I hope you’re getting over it ok! Prayers for a quick recovery.
So Cute!! Maybe the cup will help me to Love hot Tea. Loved it 😅.
Julie you find more restaurant ware from companies up north. That cup is from New Castle. Pa. Shenago china company. I think in the past you have found china from Syracuse China company. I have started collecting Syracuse restaurant ware China with flowers and some with dragon or vines. My grandfather worked there and my aunt was an inspector. You find some of the best finds.
Oh how neat! I know it’s so fun to see the stuff traveling all over.
Love your style 😊
Thank you 😊
Hey Julie I liked the video. I wish they had been kinder to you!
Thank you! It’s ok I’m tough!
That white cup you bought with the chip looks like those cups for men to put their shaving cream in with the brush that goes in it to put the soap on their face just without the shaving brush, looks like the one my grand father use or like it.nice video I enjoyed it,kinda expensive.
Love the doily, I am still a doily person, I have them all over my house. My mom crocheted all the time , she made beautiful things. I miss her but I wouldn’t bring her back. I am looking forward to seeing her and family someday. 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you 😊
Hi Julie I enjoyed your video as always. I have to tell you I was out thrifting last Friday and I found a Laura Ashley mug just like the one you shared a few videos ago... I was tickled pink. I thought about sending it to you but it would probably be very expensive as I live in Canada. Needless to say I bought it and it is on my windowsill in the kitchen so I can see it when I do my dishes. I got some more goodies today when I stopped at the thrift store... there were 5 small brown transfer ware plates that I am going to use in my plate holder. Thank you for sharing with us it is a pleasure seeing you finds and how you style them.
Oh how fun! You’re very welcome and thank you 😊
My family is from New Castle Pa!! I have a nice collection of Shenango China.
The bowl & lid at 4:11. I think it was a chamber pot!!! 😂😂😂
I highly recommend Yorkshire Gold tea with a good splash of milk/creamer! I had to back off of coffee and did indeed learn to love tea! I am so enamored of red and white check!! That placemat looks like a lovely big doily!!❤️
Thank you 😊
Hi Julie! You found some nice things today. I love your videos. I liked the blue plates at 8:20 and the planter(?) at 11:19. I hope everyone has a great week!
Thank you so much Kit!
@@ThrilledThrifter you're welcome!
MC & SA is the Moscow, Camden, & San Augustine Railroad - a Class III short line railroad headquartered in Camden, Texas.....

Would go grate with that red gingam napkin
Love all your buys again.
Always inspiered by you
Here they dont apreciate filming in any case.
I would do it too iff I could
HUgs X
I have some green striped restaurant ware too. Lots of different makers. Funny the ladies thought you were suspicious.
I know right!
I think the mug with the large chip is a shaving mug. My Dad had one just like it when I was a kid! You bought round soap cakes to lather up and shave! Keep thrifting!
Oh how fun! Thank you 😊
Haeger pottery as very nice pieces.
I had so many Haegar vases and statues in the 1980's all over my house. I got rid of all of them when I did a makeover and wish now I'd held on to some.
They are some beautiful pieces!
that chipped Hall coffee mug almost looks like an old shaving mug that my granddaddy had.
Julie, that chunky mug looks alot like a shaving mug. I bet it would look cute with a shaving brush and an old metal razor in your bathroom. Just a thought. I hope y'all have a great week! Now I can say, Happy Fall! 🎃
The Ciera mug you have is from Trader Joe's. I had that same set as my everday dishes for about 20 years.
Oh I that’s awesome! Thank you 😊
Nice restaurant ware cup with the green stripes
Shenango China made in Pennsylvania was a very popular restaurant ware
Thank you 😊
*You didn't buy the Haeger planter⁉️ That was THE BEST THING IN THE WHOLE STORE - OLD and VERY COLLECTIBLE‼️😔*
*Shenango Pottery is a very old and popular/collectible brand of Restaurantware; great job getting that cup❣️ Your tea will taste GREAT in there❣️😋 Chai Tea (as a tea drinker AND lover of Chai Tea) tastes best when you heat 2% or whole milk in a sauce pan on the stove and in the pan, steep 1 bag per 8 oz. of milk for 3 to 5 minutes (depending upon how strong you like your tea) and a teaspoon of sugar per cup. Stir, and pour into your mug with a sprinkle of cardamom and nutmeg on top and enjoy❣️ Taught to me by my daycare Mom who was from India. 😊🤎🍵*
Brown planter worth every penny
I should have grabbed it shouldn’t I ?
The Shenanco cup is vintage restaurant ware.
Thank you 😊
Julie! I just had to comment and suggest a tea - my favorite is Twinings brand called Lapsang Souchong ! I first learned about it in a novel I was reading😄and had to try simply because the name was so cool to me! It's a smoky tea - I like it with a drop of honey. I LOVE thrifting along with you! Keep it up! Thanks for the great content!
Thank you so much for that information I definitely want to try.
Julie, please try the Frazier black cream tea, especially with cream (maybe a little sugar or honey 😉) and you will be hooked. So mild and delicious. BTW, love your channel and your family. Y’all are so precious. Can’t wait to see the new grand baby. 😊
That tea sounds like a good choice!
I love chamomile lavender tea. Caffeine free too.
Thank you so much 😊 I’ll definitely look into it
Hello Julie. Happy Friday. I was watching this video with my husband and he like the corn molds. Do you have a recipe for corn cakes that you make for your family using this mold. Thank You in Advance. Good night. 🥰
Add your favorite dairy product to the hot chia 😊 so yummy and cozy
Thank you 😊
The Shenango cup is restaurant ware. Nice cup!!
Thank you 😊
New Castle PA on the cup.

Love the cup with the green trim. The doilly/ bowl cover is a great find. Nice little haul. Lots of thrift stores are high on their pticed. Some almost retail, Unbelievable. Its supposed to be a thrift store. What's up with that. Deals are getting less and less. I love thrifting too. Oh well ill still go its like a treasure hunt
Tske care ❤😊
Thank you 😊
The first cup matches the place mats 😅😅
Just drink some sweet tea from that Shenango mug 😊
The Haeger was nice vintage about $15-$30 but would be good for shelled nuts or candle with fall type florals or dried. Loved the apron. Well after all that I would not go back again, not 🚭 ce nor professional. Take care!😊
Newcastle, Pennsylvania
They were a little high priced I through liked what you found.
It’s restaurant China …I call it dinner China ….hall China is worth looking up 👍💁🏻
The probably is ironstone but I think it's a shaving mug not a drinking mug.😊
The solid white one looks like a shaving mug
So many things I would want - I’m yelling at the screen Julie , Buy it!!!
Great stuff under one roof! I agree with what Lanie said ! LOVE the green rim coffee cup - looks like restaurant .great haul ! Thanks .
