Just wanted to say that it's so refreshing to find a you tube channel on thrifting that's not all about reselling. I enjoy watching someone shop to find bargains because they enjoy being able to add to a collection or their home decor or give a gift to a friend or loved one without going into debt. Not that there's anything essentially wrong with reselling to help pay the bills and such but the way many of them go about it sort of puts me off. One video I just watched was sort of a tutorial on how he could dupe the person having a sale into thinking he was interested in them and the history of whatever vintage item they were selling when all along he was just thinking of how much more money he could make selling the item on eBay if he could convince the seller to lower the price. Ugh! Anyway, keep doing what you're doing...I love it!

I binge watch your videos all the time. I love your channel and I really like that when you are shopping you show us everything. You know we like seeing the bottom of items for markings etc. you are so sweet Your family is precious. I live in greater Houston area I want to shop at this store in this video. There were a lot of things I saw that I like. There is another channel I watch in Houston area (Lady Mary Beth). I appreciate all you guys do to bring joy to our lives. When I am going thrifting I put a pair of gardening gloves in my purse to use for just that purpose and for bins and handling furniture which can have splinters.

So glad you got the rolling pin. Red handles that of coarse are not painted are true vintage. Yes that was a vintage thermos. I dont collect just watch alot of thrift videos but you and Theonie at Thriftydivas are my favorite. My gw keeps all knives in the cases

Yes I do use thermos to decorate for late fall and winter. I'm not sure it very old may 70s or 80's older thermos have a metal bottom trim

Great haul! I gasped when I saw that rolling pin! I have been on the hunt for some or even just one for awhile! Eventually, I will find one. I read somewhere that the red handles are truly vintage! Loved the hat and the purse! I could use that hat when I’m gardening as well!

Hi Julie! It was so funny running into your family in the store. As you put it "You never know what you're going to find", in this case it was family lol! I liked the red basket the rabbits. The picnic basket did have a price tag, it was on the inside on one of the walls. I saw it right before you closed it. Hope you enjoyed/will enjoy your beach trip and pet Piper for me!

I work in a retail store, it's likely why there is a lack of furniture is because for months the store departments have been delayed getting items, including furniture, into the country because reopening the ports have been a nightmare and some countries are still trying to reopen after lockdown. There is also a rise in price of wood because last year most of everyone kept themselves occupied by doing a renovation project, that is likely to contribute with the lack of furniture as well as raising the prices, especially if wood production was put on halt.
It’s good to see a non-flipper! Those 3 striped canisters (glass?) were so pretty. “Thrifted to gifted” is such a lovely idea.

Our Goodwill has very little furniture. Mainly cheap desks and chairs. Usually they have sofas, cabinets, stuffed chairs and bookcases. Our hangs up linens except for groupings that are in large bags with info labels on it. They put their toys in back area near furniture. They do not have a room like yours. They took the racks off the clothing fixtures where they toys used to be. Racks are still on top of other racks on north end of store where adult clothing is kept.

The organizer you found for your hubby is very nice and a good idea, especially since it zips- no worries about things falling out. Would also be good to use something like this when traveling. My sister and I often travel together and take a folder with ink pens, a note pad, a calculator (she likes to track mileage) printed out directions, rental car info.. hotel booking info., map, etc. We don't like to rely solely on GPS as we have run into places with a "dead" zone. Love your straw purse it will be a perfect beach tote.

I always feel like you have given me so much information after each video and I truly appreciate it I had to chuckle when you said that your whole family was going to go to the beach and stay in the same place and you said pray for us. I know exactly what you mean it can get a little hectic with the whole family all in one place at the same time. You have a lovely family and I’m sure you all will have a great time. The moose is supposed to be a roller toy for a child! They can hold the handle and push it around, it helps with motor skills! :))
They do make bird feeders that shut down when a squirrel tries to eat.I have had 1 for years.

Hello, when you were looking in the sewing basket, I did see the price tag inside wall. As for the green Xmas mold. You could make Xmas decorations for the tree with your grand kids. You could use maybe the plaster due in the craft section? I forgot what its technically called.lol, have a great beach trip.

Our goodwill in Nevada no longer display knifes they are in a displace case at counter. Silverware is bagged individual on a side wall like the smalls are.

I was hoping you grabbed the rolling pin. I collect them and have yet to find one with the red handles. I have a collection of old thermos’s and I am no expert but I would say that one was vintage. Love how you have styled your kitchen!

I have bought a couple thermoses, but I usually only buy the metal ones and if they’re in good shape, you know not rusty and you kinda wanna make sure the inside is still hole it has its lid or cup. I think the one that you found is probably made back in the 60s so not terrible old

I love the hat I would have taken it apart used the head part to put around a plant in a pot, used the beads by gluing around bottles wrapped with twine. I like your ideas tho. i love to repurpose too. thanks for sharing. I am hooked on watching you.
