I love your thrifting videos better than anyone's. You get so excited over things and it reminds me of going with my oldest sister. She passed a few years ago and it's not as much fun but seriously I find myself telling you to "get that" quite often and enjoying your trips with your beautiful family. Your house is lovely and you are very good at styling your treasures. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Judy!
Home alone and I can’t wait to watch and relax, Julie☕️🤍🤍
I get so excited when I see your notification come thru. I had to watch twice. I loved everything you found and where everything is styled. The oil lamps are beautiful. Your kitchen is so cute. I would hang the flour sifter with a twine string. And I knew you were going to pick up the tin. It’s so cute as well. I love your corner cabinet too 🌻
Thank you so much Sarah!
@@cindyyeager4429 thank you so much Cindy!

OMG...I do too!! Lol
All of your beautiful things just take my breath away! FOUR OIL LAMPS!!!!!!!
Awe, thank you Susan!
Hi Julie, you have such a gift for decorating and always seem to find the most beautiful way to display all of your new treasures. My mother had a collection of over 800 s&p sets when she passed in 2002. She kept a log book starting with the very first set she received back in the 1940’s (I think), she would number the bottom of the set, then in her book she wrote the number, the date she got it, and who and where it came from. It made it fun when we needed to get her a gift or souvenir from a vacation. Don’t know what happened to the book, but all of the family took a set or two of their favorites when she passed away.
Thank you Mary! 800, wow! But what a wonderful way of logging them all.
I hope your daughter Kelsey bought the oil lamp with the wooden base. That was gorgeous! I've never seen one like that.
She did 😁
Thanks for taking us along...lots of vintage items! Your oil lamps are beautiful the way you have them displayed, they give off such
a beautiful glow when lit!! 💗🥰❗
Thank you so much! I love them 😍
Thank you so much for taking us along
Thank you for watching!
The bowl from pampered cheff is for baking bun bread. I have one and use it every week making a fresh bun bread...
Oh awesome! Thank you so much!
Chandelier 100%, definitely, no doubts hanging over the kitchen dining table!! It would elevate that whole area. The lamp on the table looks outta place…but I know, when you need to put it somewhere, that’s where it’s gonna go. Ha!
And those crocheted baby clothes & blankets were too cute ❤️🩹
Yes Dana, I agree the lamp is only there because there’s not good lighting in the evening when we eat. So I definitely want a chandelier. Thank you!
that is an egg beater with the red handle and you can also blend egg whites until they get stiff to make icing that is the old time way of making cake icing or topping for banana pudding.
Thank you so much! Now I wanna try it.
You have such a great eye for your treasures. So enjoy watching you shop and decorate.
Thank you Pam!
Yes hang with a short string. It will match others. Your home is so beautiful!!💕💕
Thank you Sandi!
Great haul, thanks for sharing. Stay safe and have a blessed day
Thank you! Same to you.
A fun trip some pretty things purchased for a very good price .I love buying other peoples things
Thank you
Love watching your haul and style
Thank you Jackie!
*Julie, what an "outside of the box idea" you had, putting your 6 little salt and pepper shakers inside your wire chicken basket!!!😊 When you get ready for a change, I suggest you use them on their plate to corral them and save space for use on your coffee bar. Fill them with 1. ground cinnamon, 2. cocoa powder, 3. ground nutmeg, 4. ground cardamom, 5. pumpkin pie spice, and 6. ground cloves. Really enjoyed seeing the expandable rack displayed diagonally in front of the 2 darker shutters, with a dried fall wreath hung from one of its pegs❣ The contrast of the light and dark and the diamond shapes really draw your eye to that beautiful wall decor.😊 I can't believe you didn't buy the darling little flat iron salt and pepper shaker set‼️😔 LOVED THOSE - and I have a slight obsession with salt and pepper shakers, too, Julie, LOL❣🤣*
*I liked EVERYTHING you bought; that curved, "warty" yellow gourd with the leaves 🍂🍁 and other accents looks lovely in your white ironstone gravy boat. 💝🧡🤎 I think the way you displayed the oil lamp with the red oil inside on your oak table, using plates as a riser, the bunny and a touch of greenery looks so warm and cozy. Those old, worn 🐔 chicken salt🧂🧂 and pepper shakers look lovely on your kitchen windowsill. What a wonderful, vintage egg/whipping cream beater with the red handle - and the galvanized sifter was sweet, too. ❤ Have to admit, I'm a little bit jealous of your beautiful all-green trees 🌳🌲🌿🍃and shrubs in Texas - along with your warm temperatures, Julie. The leaves here in Minnesota have turned and are falling off the trees and it's getting colder.😔 Fall is my favorite season, but I am not looking forward to the winter weather that follows it‼️ Hehehe...🤣*
I agree! The little s & p shakers in the wire chicken were adorable and I never would have thought of that. And the little hanging rack on the shutters is perfect! ❤
Thank you so much Leslie. Yes, looking back I should have grabbed those for that price. Thank you for the fun ideas for coffee bar. That’s a perfect idea!
@@lorag4226 thank you Lora!
@@ThrilledThrifter *Glad you liked the coffee ☕ bar idea, Julie.🤎*
Loved all the things you purchased. Love u❤️
Thank you Charlene!
I'm ready to relax and I saw your video! I too love oil lamps,I have so many, but during a storm here we always lose power. Sometimes not long, but for those times it is long,we have light and they give a bit of heat. I love your videos.
Thank you Janet! Yes, after the Texas winter ice storm I’m getting better prepared.
The 3 oil lamps together are just beautiful and the hint of green foliage makes them pop! So cozy! ❤️👍🏻🐝
Thank you so much Anita!
Such great stuff. We always called that mixer an egg beater. Pretty darn efficient too. Love the oil lamps.
Thank you! And awesome!
When I got married, our neighbor gave me a collection of kitchen tools, one of which was a wire whisk for beating. I wanted an egg beater, but never did get one! That was in 1971, and to this day, I still have that whisk, still use it, never bought myself the egg beater, and still yearn for one!
Julie!!! The cute salt and pepper shakers in the wire chicken or rooster? And the pumpkins in the oil lamp. 😍😍😍 can you please do a fall home tour? Love your styling.
Thank you so much! And it’s a little hen ☺️.
@@ThrilledThrifter lol. 😆🤦🏼♀️
That old red handled mixer is an old egg beater; both my grandmas had them.
Oh awesome! Thank you!
I love all your thrift hauls! I grew up with parents that always used oil lamps when power out and your hauls are making me realize I need to get some! They truly are beautiful. Also, I wash my pampered chef stoneware same way and never had issue. Great finds!
Thank you Jenn! Yes, me too!
I use the round "cake" pan from pampered chef and the "bowl" as the lid for roasting chicken. As noted like a Dutch oven. Seals in the juices.
Thank you
Another great video. Used the "egg beater" in my Grandma's kitchen. ❣️
Thank you! I love it!
Love your collection of oil lamps. We have several in our home as well. The wood base one kelsy picked up is my favorite in our collection. I had the pampered chef bowl, it was mainly used over top of a stone casserole dish, like a Dutch oven.
The sifter looks like it said “North Carolina Harrel Kitchen
Thank you Beth! And yes, that’s what it says. I don’t know what that means though.
@@ThrilledThrifter I have used that pamper chef bowl to bake a bread bowl for salad. You turn it upside-down and roll out the dough (pizza) and lay it overtop the bowl then bake.
@@karenrobertson890 oh awesome. Thank you so much!
The oil lamps look great how you displayed them, great buy! The expandable rack I have purchased several in the past. One I spray painted black and hung old kitchen utensils ie sifter, scissors ✂️, whisk, yard stink etc a lot that were my mommas. Also made one for my momma spray painte dark pink and flower 🌸 jewels glued on ends for her hang necklaces. You can do so many things with them.
Thank you Becky! What wonderful ideas!
Loved the hat rack and the oil lamps,
Thank you!
The Pampered Chef baker
I use for baking bread.
Oh perfect! Thank you!
Love how you styled the oil lamps
Thank you
You are very lucky Julie, great, great finds!!!Have a nice weekend!
Thank you!
Really enjoyed your video the idems that u got and how u styled them so beautiful. And the oil lamps what can I say and u lit them so so pretty just think that's how people use to light their homes. Thank you for sharing your finds and how you styled them.😊👍👍👍♥️
Thank you so much Alecia! I love them.
"Out of the N.C. Harral Kitchen" To me this means that it is probably an identifier for the people in the town to let them know that the sifter belonged to a well known person in the town. People are willing to pay more for something that has provenance with it. Keep the tag. Ask the people at the sale if they know anything about the original owner or Google their name and print their obituary to go with the tag. Add a photo of the sifter with the paperwork also. If you haven't already, you need a file for all your treasures. You won't be around forever and your girls will love you even more for doing that for them. Also add where you got it and what you spent. It will be great for insurance purposes if you get hit by a tornado 🌪 or fire 🔥. Just keep digital copies on your girl's computers.
Oh gosh Pattie I never thought of that ! Thank you so much! Y’all are so awesome.
@@ThrilledThrifter I googled and there is a Harrel, North Carolina.
Loved the oil lamps
Thank you!
Wow that was lot of of thrifting lol. There were so many things I liked: the footstool at the beginning of the video, the red oil lamp you got, the blue bottle, the amber bottles, the tiered plant stand, the cobalt bowl @ 11:53, the plush goat (it was just so adorable!) and the terrarium. Everything looks great and I'm glad you all had fun. Pet Piper for me and have a good weekend.
Thank you so much Kit! I sure will.
Good score on the Homer Laughlin gravy boat. It’s sells around 55.00 dollars. Love your videos. Your Texas hospitality is very nice. Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you Lori! And wowza. Who knew!
Awesome haul . You always find the perfect items and when you style them it as if they where meant to be there all the time
Thank you so much 😊.
LOVE how you style your beautiful home.
Thank you so much!
Love all of it!!! You make me smile so much. Every time you say something is "precious" I take a drink of my sweet tea. You live in a beautiful area. Love the way you styled the oil lamps on top of your corner unit. PERFECT!!!
Awe, thank you so much Darlene!
Julie I gotta say I love your style and all them great treasures, mini salt/pepper glass shakers, iron stone small bowls/plates oh and let’s not forget the collection of Oil Lamps…
Thank you Patricia! It was a good thrift day 😁
I just went thrifting and found 3 oil lamps, which I, of course, snatched right up! I love your purchases and it looked like a fun day!
Thank you so much! Yay on your oil lamps.
I love Homer Laughlin💝. He made Fiesta ware as well.
Thank you! Oh really. That’s neat to know.
I used one of those red handled hand mixers when I was younger. It was in my moms kitchen for years. Wish I knew what happened to it. I used that kind of sifter too. Yep giving away my old age. Lol
I definitely want to try it soon! Thank you so much for watching!
@@ThrilledThrifter I am left handed and that made it very difficult for me to use correctly!! But I kept trying enjoy!!!
I loved that Hopewell dresser/case, and that super rustic table at the second place. That would make a SUPER cute patio table!! So many beautiful things.. I wish I could go garage saleing with you!! Super fun. Thanks for making such fun videos.
Thank you Hillary. I would love to yard sale with all of y’all.
I❤️,how you put your things together when you buy them.

Thank you so much Mary! Yes, I stay cold here too.
What a fun way to go thrifting! Everything looks beautiful in your home. The little mixer is an egg beater.
Thank you!
I also have a slight obsession with the vintage mini salt and pepper shakers! I just thrifted mini rolling pin shakers. I was so excited. Love all your finds and especially how you style them!
Thank you so much
You are making me want to light up my oil lamps! Yours looked so good on top of your cabinet. The miniature salt and pepper shakers in the wire chicken basket was a great idea. Enjoyed the video. Yes hang it with a string.
Thank you so much
I like crystal salt and pepper shakers too. And small ones.
Yes, so cute and irresistible lol
I loved those white destressed chairs.
It must be so fun to go thrifting with your siblings
Thank you!
Fantastic video. You always decorate your finds so good. Those oil lamps on your hutch looked adorable and very cozy when lit. Elizabeth looked so pretty. Hope you and your family have a wonderful blessed week. Marion
Thank you so much Marion!
Fun trip. Love your finds. I always have a “cozy sweater” around-always a cardigan, always thrifted. Growing up, my kids knew which ones were my favorites.😊
Thank you Anna! Absolutely. I love the one I show in this video.
Thank you so much for your lovely videos. They are brilliant. If you have time, perhaps you could show us how to get the oil lamps working. Mine just keeps going out. ❤️
Thank you! Try soaking the wick in the oil for a bit first then light.
I remember a couple of bags you picked up that can hang off wheelchair handles. I think my sister would've grabbed them in a minute. She's in a wheelchair too, spinal-bifida. My grandparents used to have two kerosene lamps on their mantle. I have no idea where they went to. Now and then I have to smack my hand to keep from buying those cute little salt and pepper shakers left and right. I love how you styled the mixer and the sifter, I think the mixer is hung just right. Keep Thrifting and God bless.
Thank you so much Rhonda! Yes, I have to keep myself in check when it comes to s&p shakers lol.
So pretty! You got great stuff!!
Thank you!
You can bake bread in that bowl. Love the oil lamp! The sifter is neat and that inscription is probably recognizing the town where it was made. I found that in Tennessee and that was what it represented. Yes I would tie strings on the items you bought to hang on the wall. I loved shopping with you today!!!
Thank you
How fun! Thanks for sharing your thrifting trip!
Thank you
Great haul! I especially love the egg beater and sifter.
Thank you! Me too!
Just love your thrifting adventures! It was such a delight to see all your treasures! The oil lamps are.just beautiful....I have an obsession with them! Your video was so calming and the love you have with your family is just beautiful ❤️. Treasures set aside, your family is priceless... sweet Elizabeth's smile says it all. Thank you for sharing, everything is phenomenal as always 😍
Thank you so much! You’re absolutely right! I adore my family so much.
I’m on oil lamp #9 🤣 I used them a lot last winter during our outage & now I’m obsessed with all the different sizes & styles. And they’re useful too so, win win. 👍🏻 And thanks to you, I just brought my houseplants in for the winter and placed one on my pewter cake plate on my dining room buffet table & it looks amazing. Thank you for all of the great ideas. ❤️ (I found replacement wicks on Amazon.)
Awesome! Thank you so much!
Love all your fines. Love oil lamps too. Have a great weekend.
Thank you! Same to you.
I really like how you show your thrifted hauls throughout the video but my absolute favorite is that you actually show us how you style your finds! Thank you! I recently found you so I’m going back and watching all your videos ❤
Thank you so much 😊
Love going shopping with you. The pampered chef bowl, is a great find. I have one like it and an piece that I use with it and I roast a whole chicken in it. Hope you find a use you will love to cook in it. 🦋💓🦋
Thank you so much!
Beautiful treasures and I love how you styled!
I too wash my pampered chef with a touch of soap and never had a problem. Call me crazy but I just don’t feel Ike they’re clean by just wiping.
Thank you Ronda! I know, me too!
I love your yard sale finds and how you display them. I do the same county kitchen decor. It's beautiful
Thank you!
The accordion peg rack was a deal! They are normally way more pricey. Great finds.
I thought so too! Thank you so much for watching!
What fun! 1) I have oil lamps and candles scattered throughout the house, they are dust collectors because I live alone & don't need ambiance! We have so few power outages, despite PG&E needing to have rolling brown outs in fire season, but I'm ready just in case!---2) On those few occasions I get to stop at garage sales while out seeing Hospice patients, I tend to look for items I can snap up for BINGO prizes at the local nursing homes (or I'm trolling the on-line auction sites when I have the need of retail therapy!)---3) My eye went right to the Tupperware on the half-price table!---4) Before the lockdown, I was buying soft caps for our Oncologist's office. There's a basket for chemo patients to help themselves. My location is chilly all year-round, so head coverings are a gift.---Once again, I enjoy snooping along with you, and enjoy the music as much as I enjoy the trips!
Thank you so much Alana! You’re a gift to so manny of your patients. How sweet!
Did you miss the Pampered Chef pan? It was just before you asked about the crocheted baby hats.
Kristina, yes, I noticed it while editing 😭
Always fun to watch you haul 💕
