- 🇮🇳 Can you believe that there are people in the world who have never tried Indian food?! Well I know two of them and so invited two of my Russian friends to try Indian food for the first time. Would they like it or not? Let's find out....

The round dessert is Gulab Jamoon like a spongy cheese ball in syrup with saffron, the solid square one is Besan (Gram flour) barfi. Glad you introduced them to the Indian food
And rose water. Those are just about the best Indian dish I could recommend.
This is literally one of my biggest motivations to learn russian..

I went to Minsk in 1998, at that time very few foreign restaurants, there were one mac Donald, a spanish and an italian in the center and that's all. With our Belarussian partners, we selected the Italian one which was fine and at the end we had to pay in local rubles (paying with foreign currency was forbiden) : 3 000 000 rubles LOL I also tried belarussian cuisine, we went to a state restaurant and it was delicious and eat the best pan friend mushrooms in my life. The only negative point was that we had to wait a lot between dishes. I have good memories from Minsk although it was a hard time for Belarussian in that period.
I was in Minsk in 2019. I only have positive experience. Clean, green and full of stylish young people.
