What's up lads. I plan on streaming my attempts at some community suggested custom hunts. If you have any suggestions for a custom quest you wanna see me try, drop a suggestion in the comments over on my community post here: ruclips.net/user/postUgkx_TyHlcEdV6Q3REPVoPeKJLlcTLNqrqbM?si=rS830SKrBg77avvw
I remember the joy of custom quests back in the day. I think that was how I got my armour spheres back then. Although I never made them, I didn't even know how to do them to begin with
@@JaxDaHax1 I think you can spawn big monster as "small monsters" so you can put more than 2 monsters per wave Its been a long time than i did that so i don't remember if it really worked😭
You download Mikewii's mh.extdata tool, and then you use that to unpack the MIB files you'd create on Dasding's MH4U quest editor Essentially the same method as it used to, but you pack and unpack MIB files to direct install quests as DLC, rather than running a proxy.
This is the simplest way if you just want 1 or 2 quests, and don't mind swapping them out. There's an alternative method that replaces actual in-game hunts if you wanna have more and don't mind the extra work. Although I don't have links to a guide for that option. Here's the easy way: www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunterCustoms/comments/1cbs0f3/comment/l1r04fv/?
If you're on an emulator, you make quests with Dasdings quest editor, and use another mh.exe tool to unpack quest data, dump the MIB files from the editor, and then repack. After that it's like putting the regular DLC into the game. If using a 3DS, dashing hosts a proxy server and you play the quests using local wireless, which is a lot easier

5:10 Small Ankantor: screams
The screen: *INCREASED* ‼️‼️‼️🗣️🗣️🗣️
I now understand why you requested as many yells as possible...little man go SCREEEEEEEEE-
Wow i can’t believe you killed Bowser in front of his son
Man, the cover your ear quests.
Edit: they look so great being so small.
Mannnnn seeing the Garuga armor in mixed sets again takes me back 🥲 I miss 4U so much!
Word. It's aged like a fine wine. Havent been this addicted to a game in ages since the first time I originally played it
Bro the mount at 6:20 is amazing.
Ukanlos: mmm yes. This is definitely ice that i can swim through
apceros functioning as intended

loved the 40k Dawn of War quotes you used
I don't know why, but my brain found this video relaxing lmao
2:14 me when i
The second akantor i can’t 😂😂😂
Now dalamadur my little snake
Unsure how well he'll adapt to and size changes or change in map. But he's on the list of experiments
If I'm to make a quest next it the 3 fatalis.
Best i can do is 2. Fatalis' body doesn't despawn so I can't trigger a new wave.
And waves are capped at 2 monsters

@quentin7755 it does, but it *can* go wrong at times. I'd rather play it safe than have a game crash or something, especially given my luck
@@JaxDaHax1 I just hope capcom will make a remastered of the 4 main games of monsters with all add ons.
I could never get Akantor or Ukanlos to shrink or grow. How do you do it?(I'm on 3ds)
Holy! How did you manage to make custom quests work on emulator??
You download Mikewii's mh.extdata tool, and then you use that to unpack the MIB files you'd create on Dasding's MH4U quest editor

@@JaxDaHax1I'm gonna try that as soon as i can, thanks for the info.
@@JaxDaHax1does this also work for 3ds?
@Shadow8Crow I'm unsure. You'd have to find a way to connect to a proxy with your 3DS
How did you get CQ's to work? I thought the software for that was taken down years ago? Man, if I had the chance, I would still be making them myself.
