2:45 oh, the PTSD. I've beaten the entire game solo with CB, from Seltas to Gogmazios and most of the secret text content (still working on it). One day, i was struggling with a guild quest Shaggy. After all, it's not easy to manage the "random" pop-up explosions, the turrets, and Shagaru himself, all at once with a weapon like Charge Blade. Then i put together a cheap armor set (i didn't have Star Knight) and Gog's Insect Glaive with the surplus materials i had. Killed Shaggy cartless in my first try and with a completion time inferior to whatever he was taking to beat my Charge Blade user ass. A reminder that Gog's IG isn't even good by any means, and i was using a slow, barely fed kinsect, while my CB was Seregios' one (the second best around for most things) and i had an artillery set... And i played CB for the entire game up to that hunt without ever even touching IG, using guard points since low rank and shit. They're not lying when they say that IG is OP in 4U

The hardest part for me learning CB back in the day in 4U was getting consistent with the guard Point mechanic and learning to do the AED cancel, because of the fact that it's generally more consistent to do those in 4U than SAEDs with the impact charge blades. Learning Savage Axe was tough too because it kind of ran counter to 1800 hours of unga bunga SAED spam CB from World. Wilds CB seems to be a combo of 4U counter AED CB and Iceborne savage axe, and I am super hyped.

There is not a single actual charge blade main (as in, not a poser) who will tell you the CB is complicated. It seems to be a meme that's been applied to the CB by everyone else, we all call each other cavemen so it can't have come from us.
