I have curly hair and I always use one when I wash my hair cuz I wash it once a week and when I started using it I got more defined and less frizzy curls def recommend
My blonde (natural) straight and fine hair is oily less than 24 hours after washing my hair, including clarifying shampoos and even the olaplex kind. I'm at my wits end with how gross it is one day later!
@Emily Marlow Try nettle shampoo (only pea size). Good alternatives are also rye flour or lava earth (google how to use it) and use only warm water, no hot water and finish with 1 l cold water incl. 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar as last rinse. Buy a horn comb or boar brush. Avoid hair dryer, hairspray, styling products etc. Only natural products.
Make sure you do use good quality conditioning products if your normal shampoo in addition to the clarifying shampoo strip too much oil from your hair and scalp, then that can cause your skin/scalp to overreact and overproduce oils in an attempt to prevent it from drying out. So your conditioning treatments or regular conditioner need to be contracting that
Ok so, I had no idea how damaging clarifying shampoo was and used it every day for about a month and a half, and I’ve just totally stopped using it becuase ive noticed my hair has gotten a lot thinner. I’m 18 and wanted to ask when can I expect my hair to become more full again now that I’ve stopped using it?
You guys have all the hood hair stuff over there but you can also dilute baking soda and vinegar in water. … I’ve done that to clarify. Like a whole glass of water and teaspoon of each
Hi! I'm not the OP but oiling your hair would be a good step! (Pre wash) and try not to be too harsh while washing your hair. The conditioner from "Not your mother's" brand is also great for curly hair !
So when you shampoo your hair, you do it twice rather than just once. I think its because the second one does the full clean and the first is just to like get the dirt to come up or something. Probably a bad explanation but yeah something like that xD
@@AnInfiniteWonderland thanks for explaining, but I’ve heard that people use different kinds of shampoos for a double cleanse. Something about one shampoo for the oils, and the other one for something else. But it’s fine to just use the same one twice then?
My hairdresser said something about it being harmful if you keep using it, but she didn't say specifically in what way o.O so might be from a side effect of using their products. Ive only ever used the bond smoother so not 100% shre
Please recommend the best clarifying shampoo that’s not only available in the US

What about super dry ends and super oily scalp? I got the best of both worlds. How often to use it?
what is the difference between purifying shampoo and clarifying shampoo?
Seems like they’re the same ?
Everyone has different type of hair
One needs to follow what is best individually
Just use a diluted apple cider vinegar rinse, way cheaper and better for your scalp and hair
I tried it but it doesn't remove buildup and and clean deeply as i would like
My scalp needs to be clarified every day and I haven’t found a good one yet that’s within budget.
then what shampoo do i use for othet days?
can they cause dandruff even if they have tea tree oil in it?
What if your hair feels “squeaky” clean after washing 1x a week?
My dandruff is so bad right now, any advice would be appreciated
yes plz mine is bad too!
@@kerrabaxter905 I got a tea tree oil shampoo, only used it a couple times but I do notice my dandruff is slightly better.
Nothing worked completely for me exept for derm prescribed 2 percent ketoconazole
Massage my scalp with one part apple cider and 3 parts water. Let it stay for 30 minutes to one hour. Shampoo and rinse.

I wash my hair like every two weeks so I’ll clarify every other wash day
OK so I have a question: People keep talking about double cleansing, is that what this is? Or am I supposed to use three different shampoos now?😅
