Surface the Onefinity Spoilboard

  • I cut my oversized Spoilboard. I surfaced my Onefinity CNC Spoilboard using a 1 1/8” surfacing bit. I was able to flatten the Spoilboard bigger than the normal cut limits of the Onefinity Woodworker CNC. I use Vectric VCarve Pro to design a Spoil board surfacing file.

    Can the cnc just be mounted straight to a piece of MDF, and use another piece of MDF on top of that as spoilboard? I would likely just double side tape all my pieces to the spoilboard rather than use the t-track. I don't have a way of cutting the thin spoilboard pieces accurately like you have.

      Yes you most certainly can, problem with stacking them is you will lose some of your up and down or ‘z” travel, only a problem if you are trying to do thicker projects
