I love Hozier a lot. his voice is so rich and earthy and soulful and he is an amazing writer. he doesn't waste a word and everything has meaning to it and just paints a picture. He is one of my fave male soloists and deffo someone i always recommend to people. I love both his albums. True talent.

I just love Hozier(thanks for the correct pronunciation of his name, I've always wondered if I was saying it right!). It was nice to have a pro explain the WHYS that make his music and of course that voice so awesome!! I have all his music on my phone and listen to them on repeat throughout the work day.

As a vocal teacher you have a sharp eye for the details please continue to react with some analysis instead of just other vocal teachers where they just comment on how nice their voice is and how shocked they are. That's useless, so thanks for providing very helpful service to us singers.

I'd love for you to watch the morgan james cover of this song. It's amazing. I mean, the original song is amazing, but she did an outstanding job as well, and I've never seen any vocal coaches watch the video. I just find it interesting how she sings the chorus in a dainty head voice, then in a belting chest voice, then finally again belting it with the key change. Plus the amazing diction and vibrato one gets from a classically trained singer.

I’d just like it noted that I think it’s rather unfair of you to always look so stunning, always speak with such eloquence and insight, teach/encourage/inspire singers and non-singers alike, and perform in such an incredible way that I close my eyes and just bask in it. Spread some of that flawlessness to others is all I’m saying. 😉 I’d love to request Common and Yolanda Adams’ performance of “Glory” at the Farewell to Obama concert; sweet baby Moses and all his baskets, watching that was a Vatican-approved miracle. The other one I’d love to see you do is Louisa Johnson’s performance of “It’s a Man’s World” on the British X-Factor. Though she was just 17 at the time, that two and a half minutes was so powerful that it cleared up my acne, cured my aggressive blood clotting disorder, and paid off my mortgage. As always, thanks for being you.

PLEASE react to a live performance by the extraordinary Icelandic singer, Björk. I particularly recommend her famous song "Bachelorette" as it showcases her swooping and soaring voice with (consciously) almost no vibrato. There are many excellent live performances, but I would suggest looking at the performance on the Jools Holland TV show in 1997, as it zooms in on her face closely and you'll be able to see the quite unique mouth shaping that she does which I think will be interesting for you to comment on from a technical perspective. I'd be really interested to hear what you think!
Another good song of hers to look from a live performance perspective would be "Jóga".

Hey I really think you would enjoy Matt Corby's cover of Tina Arena's "In Chains"! He's got a crazy pleasant and "fizzy" tone to his voice, sick use of twang and he moves through minor seven scales with a gorgeous rythm. He's also accompanied by a super tight band and I really wanna hear what you've got to say about his performance! Honnestly think it would be a great addition to your channel, such a gold mine for a vocal coach!!!
