Yes!!! She's done a few reactions to Pentatonix videos now and she always says it! I get it's no big deal really but once you notice it you can't ignore it
Mitch is a tenor and has the solo for most of this cover. Scott is the baritone of the group and the tall man with blonde hair. Avi is the original bass of the group (he left in 2017 and helped find his successor Matt). Kirstin is the mezzo soprano of the group. Kevin is the beatboxer, a tenor and cellist of the group.
Got to be honest, watching you the whole time Tara! you're stunning, cant keep my eyes from beautiful! Wow and a voice also, knock me down with a feather!
I love your reactions - I know Pentatonix is good but I like hearing why they are so good. I'd love to see your reaction to their cover of Imagine, they do something magical near the end that gives me shivers every time! I think you'd also like Run to You(an original) which is very different from their pop songs and maybe Scott Hoying (guy in the grey hoodie here) and Mario Jose singing Lost on You over a Hans Zimmer score. Looking forward to more of your reactions!
Their precision is the Best ever and Scott's punch lines " So you think..." are so powerful and forceful. I love that he quite often gets the climactic punches of the songs because he has great body language and the voice to belt it out with.
During live versions of this song on their newly finished tour, Mitch gave his first part of the solo a lot more emotion. Maybe you'd want to check them out sometime so you don't have to "forgive" Mitch as there would be nothing to forgive (but maybe you wouldn't be really happy with the way he shapes the "mEE" vowel sometimes haha). I've always thought Mitch's voice belongs in musical theatre and those performances confirm it for me. It would be great too if you would react to Superfruit's Hip Hop Goes Broadway videos. They're really fun and they have great vocal moments and it'll be interesting to hear your thoughts about it :)
Great reaction to a magnificent performance. The thing that gets me every time is that resolve at the end. As the chords rotate around Mitch's final note, you can hear him tuning each chord to make them ring. Spectacular talent indeed.
Since you've now reacted to a few of their videos, and I get the feeling this isn't the end of it, I would really appreciate if you would learn their names, mostly because it would make it much easier to refer to a specific member at a certain point. Mitch Grassi: so-called "megaphone man," also in Superfruit along with Scott Scott Hoying: tall, blond guy who sings lead a lot, also in Superfruit with Mitch Kirstin Maldonado: the girl, you reacted to her in Disney Love Medley with her then-boyfriend Jeremy but she also has some newer stuff that's really good and she was on Broadway a few months ago in Kinky Boots Kevin Olusola: the beatboxer, he has some really cool "KOvers" he has done solo that you should check out Avi Kaplan: the bass, he left the band a bit over a year ago, releasing some cool solo music shortly afterwards, and was replaced with Matt Sallee (who you saw in the Evolution of Rihanna video)
Really great reaction. Please keep up with the Pentatonix reactions because there are so many more really good ones. I watched them being interviewed once and the interviewer asked them if there was any song they wouldn't cover and they all said Bohemian Rhapsody. Obviously they figured it out because this is amazing. Just a side note: The bass, Avi Kaplan studied opera in college and the beat boxer, Kevin Olusola, picked up beat boxing as a hobby in high school. He also plays piano, saxaphone and is a classically trained cellist. As if that isn't enough he graduated from Yale with a degree in pre-med and Asian studies. Along with other languages, he speaks flawless Mandarin Chinese. A very impressive and really super nice guy.
Avi started a summer camp for singers called A Cappella Academy. And they have videos on RUclips. It’s all high school age students singing their hearts out in the a cappella style! It’d be awesome if you checked it out. (I may or may not be one of those kids)
Thank you for this. It increased my appreciation of Pentatonix (whom I already loved), and the commentary added to the experience. I'll definitely be watching more of your videos.

It's a tiny thing, like a very tiny thing, like, why would you mention it at all? This video isn't about the band's name but how they perform. People on the internet these days...
Manuel Bonet thank you for saying that lol. That was bugging me hahaha
Yes!!! She's done a few reactions to Pentatonix videos now and she always says it! I get it's no big deal really but once you notice it you can't ignore it
Manuel Bonet yes I agree. Please no “the” in their name.
Yeah, she also keeps referring to Mitch as “that guy”
Mitch is a tenor and has the solo for most of this cover. Scott is the baritone of the group and the tall man with blonde hair. Avi is the original bass of the group (he left in 2017 and helped find his successor Matt). Kirstin is the mezzo soprano of the group. Kevin is the beatboxer, a tenor and cellist of the group.
love your reactions! the megaphone guy is called Mitch ^-^
I love it so much and keep it on replay when he said “anyway the wind blows” in that voice!
Megaphone man is Mitch :)
Yes, please learn their names!
Connie Sedona dont be so rude man
Got to be honest, watching you the whole time Tara! you're stunning, cant keep my eyes from beautiful! Wow and a voice also, knock me down with a feather!
📢M E G A P H O N E M A N📢
Mitch
Pentatonix =perfection in my book. Great commentary from you, I’m binge watching you today and I’m having such a great time!!
love them, love tara, love everyone here
Never thought a megaphone could sound soo good till i met mitch😌
The megaphone was just a prop. That was straight up his own voice all the way, as can be seen from a live version available on RUclips.
"The pentatonix" 😂 I love these reactions
I watch the Pentatonix on the You Tubes.
I get chills n goose pimples. Such beautiful voices...
"that couch got a lot of action" LOL Another great reaction!
Love this ! Love the Pentatonix. Love Bohemian Rhapsody. Love your smile when you react, your smile makes me smile ! Thank you
I love your reactions - I know Pentatonix is good but I like hearing why they are so good.
I love seeing you fan girl over Mitch (high tenor) and ptx overall! 😂 I love watching your videos it’s very informative thank you!
Arturo Trejo so welcome! Thank u😇
I love your analysis. You are fun and point out such cool details
Man does kirstin look gorgeous in this video
Love these reactions of Pentatonix, for harmonies please react to an original of theirs Run to You. Thank you.
Mitch Grassi: so-called "megaphone man," also in Superfruit along with Scott
Scott Hoying: tall, blond guy who sings lead a lot, also in Superfruit with Mitch
Kirstin Maldonado: the girl, you reacted to her in Disney Love Medley with her then-boyfriend Jeremy but she also has some newer stuff that's really good and she was on Broadway a few months ago in Kinky Boots
Kevin Olusola: the beatboxer, he has some really cool "KOvers" he has done solo that you should check out
Avi Kaplan: the bass, he left the band a bit over a year ago, releasing some cool solo music shortly afterwards, and was replaced with Matt Sallee (who you saw in the Evolution of Rihanna video)
She didn't even know who the original singer(Freddie Mercury) was
Abetrman 😧😧
Tara you are looking so lovely in this video. Just beautiful. A joy to see and listen to. Love your analysis too.
Honestly I must say, listening to you explaining the music and the skills and techniques is so refreshing and so impressive... thank you xx
Avi started a summer camp for singers called A Cappella Academy. And they have videos on RUclips. It’s all high school age students singing their hearts out in the a cappella style! It’d be awesome if you checked it out. (I may or may not be one of those kids)
Are you one of those kids?
@@qxy7440 Remains a mystery.
I’m one of those kids!!! It was the best experience ever!
I absolutely love your PTX reactions! It's so interesting to hear your opinion on their arrangements!
I'm so glad this video was made. I love mitch grassi's voice and Avi's low notes but I'm sad that Avi left. It's a good thing they have matt though.
Thank you for this. It increased my appreciation of Pentatonix (whom I already loved), and the commentary added to the experience. I'll definitely be watching more of your videos.
You should react to Pentatonix Hallelujah.
We can tell just how much you enjoy what you do during this video. Love it!
Please react to Hallelujah by Pentatonix, Break a Little (Kirstin), or Future Friends (SuperFruit)
Yes to all this! Break A Little (Acoustic) (Live From The Shadowland Foundation) is the one I would suggest. (right off Kirsten's own channel)
Scott that would be a great one, but it hardly matters because she sounds basically exactly the same because she’s such a good vocalist
Loving your videos and you always look SO pretty!
I love Pentatonix as well - they always do such creative covers with beautiful melodies!
Thank you for this reaction but please could you please react to daft punk medley please
Victor Palmas YESSSS
Thank you so very much for your critique on this gorgeous piece with the best of the best of this creative and talented group!!! I love them. But now I love you Tara and how much more you add to each of their pieces. It really makes it much more enjoyable. Thank you again!!!!

Mitch: Momma just killed a man
Coach: Mhm
I believe this vocal coach was jealeous of pentatonix interpretation because this Bohemian Rhapsody versión was a máster piece ...and that lady is thinking like every body and pentatonix thinks out the box
Can you please do any or all of “Imagine” “Hallelujah” and “Run to You” from Pentatonix? All are stunning!
Tara, I absolutely love your videos!! You're critiques and comments are perfect!! And I have to say, looking at you during the videos is a HUGE bonus!! You're Gorgeous!!
“It was megaphone man again” I WHEEZED.
