Hey Tara. You want one that will give you goosebumps and tarantula legs, review their "Run To You". I believe it is theirs and not a cover. I don't believe it's live, but it is totally amazing. @@akinpaws I had never heard that version before. It doesn't cause the same reaction in me. It's good, but not as good nor as powerful, in my opinion. The other my be studio, but it is so much stronger. Maybe Tara can react to them both and compare.... The one with the black background is my go to favorite.

It’s the “let’s listen to that again” followed by the eye rolling into the back of the head that really gives it away. He is amazing though, esp this and in the Hallelujah video
I tear up almost every time I hear Avi in this song, omg. I can't with him. Every single note of his in this song is the definition of gorgeous. This song is part of my nightly sleep playlist, too. I don't even care if it's a Chrstmas song, it's too perfect not to fall asleep to it.
"Sleep" is in the lyrics very often so I guess thats ok XD

I love the way Avi's bass line doesn't go where expected to make a slight but significant change in the overall sound without losing the melody. When he takes over in his, sweet, mellow upper range it just kills...thanks, Tara, and Merry Christmas!

That voice of Avis is stunning for sure and I find myself having the same stunned response to his songwriting skills now. It's a very different kind of music. It takes me by surprise and then draws me in to examine why he writes the way he does. Gosh, its fascinating.

YES!!! I was hoping you'd see my recommendation for this song. I thought you might like it and I'm glad that i was right about that. I don't remember if i said it last time, but I had forgotten this song existed and heard it again and had goosebumps... I even used it as a lullaby 2 nights ago (nothing like Pentatonix telling you to sleep after a long day's work)

Their ability to emphasize such crunchy harmonies while making them so incredibly pleasing to the ear is such a talent. The dissonance helps make the "proper" harmonies sound even clearer because they act as a launch pad into more tonal harmonics which most people are used to; therefore, they give their own arrangement an interesting ebb and flow between typical tonality and more atypical tonality while avoiding sounding stagnant. They're brilliant as always.
You absolutely need to listen to the "Disney Princess Medley" done with Laura Osnes and Bonnie Milligan. It's insanely fantastic.

So my show choir (all women’s group) did this for this year holiday spectacular. When you stop at 0:52, and talked about it’s important not to take a breath there and sustain through the whole phrase. It is important, my choir director kept telling us to get a good support breath before the phrase. So when you said something about this, I just kept nodding my head, agreeing with you.
