- Welcome to Episode 4 of the Audi A5 project. We are closing in on the RS5 looks. In this episode I show you that you CAN install a new bumper on your driveway with commen tools! sadly the weather did not work with us as it rained A LOT. However like in the video after fails come succes and after rain comes sunshine. Enjoy the video and stay tuned for the upcoming parts!

Hey thanks for the video. I have the same problem you had with fitting the side. Is there a trick to it?
The trick is really to use 2 people. I tried to do it by myself but that wont work. You have to put both sides on at the same time.
how did your rear lights to play?
Did u just leave the tips cutted from the muffler? If so did u have any melting issues with rs bumper. I have the rs bumper on my s5 but im worried about the exhaust heat hitting the bumper and melting it if i just leave the tips cutted😅 any idea if i should be worried?
I drove about 2 months with the tips cut off before I built a custom exhaust. Due to metal exhaust tips profided with the rs5 bumper I had no melting issues

This is a RS5 replica bumper made for the audi A5. It is not as wide as a RS5.

You can find them on ebay, I dont have a exact link for that. You can also look at X-UK. They also sell them
what year is your a5? also is it s line or non s line
It is a 2009 model, pro line.

Dat was helaas niet mogelijk omdat ik niet de S line achterbumper heb. De keuze was dus of deze bumper of eerst een s line bumper vinden en dan nog een diffusor

Hello, the diffusor was already attached to the bumper, however there are some companies who sell these bumpers, like X-UK. You can also look on Ebay. Good luck!

where did you get the exhaust tips?
They came with the bumper, but they are original audi exhaust tips. If you search for them on ebay you will find them

Almost, the exhaust had to be modified😅
Muss ich irgendwelche Anpassungen noch durchführen am Träger?
Nein, dass ist soweit alles plug and play. Für die Auspuff blenden musste noch was weg geschnitten werden an den Blenden.
@@jtscustomsNL ist das eine komplett andere schürze oder nur der heckansatz? Wieviel musste denn von den Endrohren abgeflext werden?
@@d1ff1cult58 das ist eine komplette heckschürze, es gibt heckansätze aber die passen nur an der S-Line schürze und sind meiner meinung nach nicht schön. Für den Auspuff musste ich nur die Zierendstück abschleifen.

No it is a copy/replica. The original rs5 is too wide for the A5

Do the stock 4 pipes fit the RS5 bumper? I want to keep 4 pipes
No they do not fit sadly. You would have to modify the tips in order to fit the RS5 tips.
