The fact Omniman's best ally in his kombat journey is a normal ass cop is hilarious. I can picture OM fighting some viltrumite-hunting mercenary alien and about to lose only for the thing to be distracted by Stryker putting a parking ticket on his ship.
Tbh the best kameo for omniman is Lao
@@CyberTakahashi it’s a tie between both of them. Stryker gives better 50/50s and plus frames with his overhead baton, while Lao gives Omni-Man the full-screen insta-overhead/low situations.
@@hanzonoskillmercymainbtw8584 Idk about him giving better 50/50s. OM can literally just do his 22 in tandem with lao hat. Opponent has to either try to avoid the overhead on the second hit or block low against the hat. If timed properly, it's basically unblockable and he gets a full combo off it. He can also do it with his air back forward 4 or stance 4. On top of that, by the time OM ends his combo and the opponent gets back up, Lao hat will be available again, so he can pretty much do it the entire match.

Hey Max! If you didn't know this already. Stryker has an overhead baton strike with (up and Kameo button). No one ever uses it, but they'll never see it coming, lol. I like it because it reminds me of Reiko's overhead punch, which is extremely useful.
Yeah max doesn’t use it because the grenades provide so much utility (safe pressure, plus frames, chip, etc.) that he doesn’t want to use meter on other kameo moves

There's so much greatness in the Omni/Stryker combo. Between rounds, "Think! Think!" while Stryker stares blankly into the abyss, firing his gun in the most terrifying way.
But my favorite, is who the crap designed Stryker to just look like buff Todd Howard? It's uncanny and I hate it. 🤣

Max having Stryker a "dirty" cop on Omni-Man's payroll as his "sidekick" is both relatable and make sense even from the TV show perspective.

Funny enough Sindel might be the only actual character in the MK canon that could kill Omni-man. His entire race is very sensitive to high pitch sound frequencies. Like, if something is loud enough it can out right kill them sensitive.
It has to be a *very, very specific* frequency.

Max being an Omni-Man main is not something I saw coming. He was so uninterested in him when he was announced.
From what I remember, if I’m remembering correctly, he had no interest in “Invincible” when Kenny and Steve did when “Invincible” came out. All he saw was clips and though it was similar to the Boys and violence for the sake of violence instead of a kind of realistic depiction what would happen if someone with super strength fought anyone with less strength and more Gruesome details of beings superhero and civilian casualties.
Did he watch the show?

@@sfwreaths1 Nope, and it’s a shame. The first season is great. Second season is decent so far, but something feels a bit off about it to me. Maybe it’s the pacing. I’m gonna continue watching though. The Atom Eve special was good.

Goro I feel like is the best Kameo for Omniman. He makes his moves safe on block, he juggles into all kinds of combos. His forward Kameo is great for pressure.

viltrumite stance 4 is better for punishing at mid-range. it has longer startup since it's two inputs but it tracks from anywhere on the screen and always launches. you can always meter burn for faster startup.
12:29 ALSO scorpion spear counts as a physical hit so you can't counter it like other "projectiles." discovered that back in MK11.

I get the idea with stryker but throughout the whole video it felt like he only covered you 1-3 times. The nades are so bad with their arc they missed them half the time. Feel like your better off with a projectile assist that can help you combo off your flying dive
I think Max will realize that Frost will be good too but Stryker just has decent options.
He knows Lao is better, he just finds Lao to be boring. Which is fair.

Pro tip max, step block on omni man. Always block because he fights like scorpion or smoke with his teleports or flying maneuvers. Step blocking is just taking one step then immediately blocking. Omni man players love to be aggressive like UI Goku. Just lame and wear out their combo strings and victory is within reach.
Omni Man seems great... Damn they did a great job from cartoon to realistic look. I am really excited for HL (Homelander.).. If this dude is this good... HL is going to be a favorite im sure.
Feel like the EX Viltrumite Stance is the way to go versus Baraka, and other characters with long block strings.

Sindel would actually be a hard counter to Omni man if they fought cuz a viltrumites weakness is their hearing. It’s extremely sensitive & high enough pitches can actually kill them. Sindel with a megaphone would solo every viltrumite 😂

I thought it was just me not being able to do “walk back and forward 4,1” without getting the Superman push thing he does. It really sucks. I get pushed a lot for just trying to create some space in the neutral zone and not get poked to no end.

Every fighting game can end with 3-6 touches.
But it depends WHAT touch.
Is it a reversal? A guard break? A true punish? Burn out?
What a lot of new players don’t understand is that fighting games are not about optimal combos.
No pro player uses the most damaging combo all the time.
Because it’s situational. To know when to use what combo is important.
Does it corner carry? Does it side swap? Does it hinder the enemy’s meter? Does it kill or barely?
Does it end on a knockdown or on plus frames?
That’s what you consider constantly on high level.
Every button is intentional.
Gotta use that back 4 more often.
Stryker needs some help from Tom Brady or something I rarely see him make a worthwhile throw

Trash. They're putting a bunch of capes in MK. Not only is he a cape, but he's another idiot all the pro-strokers are going to take advantage of to do these ridiculous 50-60% combos that take so long, you could get up, take a piss, come back and still be getting punch juggled in the air with NO defensive tools to counter that cheap crap in this EMPTY game devoid of content.

Great character but no Dragon Krystals for Mastery? So all DLC including Takeda, Quan Chi, etc we cant get DK for level 20 mastery?? This is wild. Im at lvl 16 with Omni so I would know. His back 1 1 into forward 4 1 is his best combo starter in my opinion

I feel like a lot of people playing Omni man aren’t using all of his combos. Don’t get me wrong seeing Omni Man juggling his opponent and doing chest bumps is great, but he has so many other moves that I don’t see anyone using.
What other combos does he have haha I’ve been maining him since he came out but his best option is always to go into the stance grab after a hit confirm which all of his strings lead into
