As a casual fan (Played MK1-3 as a kid then stopped, watch the fatalities and stuff since 9), can you explain why you feel that way? I will say I bought 11 to give it a try and almost immediately gave up, and I've at least been *trying* to hit combos in MK1...

If you do a move in MK1 that bounces an enemy into the air, there’s a high chance that same move in 11 would require meter to bounce. 11 in general had quite a bit more barriers to make gameplay more focused on neutral. That’s why 11 is also much slower and more “sluggish” than 1.

I played 5:29 at .5x speed. That was beautiful. He did the Fatal, you dodged the first punch, second punch hit, but strikers grenades staggered you opponent and you bumped him with BF2. That was the most beast beautiful thing I’ve seen Omniman do.
I like to imagine the character you pick is looking at all the kameos in a line and they walk by everyone, including Goro and Motaro, with Stryker standing proud in the middle of them and your character is looking at everyone then just goes "that one" and Stryker is like "✊😃✊ yay!"

The only mistake is purchasing DLC the day it's released, because those prices reflect gamer's obsessive need to get the new thing *now*, before consumer backlash makes the devs privy to their "mistake" and they reduce prices. I don't understand why people defend this practice.
It's funny alot of the Mk1 youtube community is having this dilemma about not having a main until DLC. I'm in that same boat where as im just waiting for Quan-Chi, but the game is so fun ive mastered (character lvl) Reiko, Shao and Kung Lao. Now im going on to Sub since i bought the DA skin for him. Thank God this game is just fun as hell
Kirkman could have NR make an entire fighting game with Invincibles cast, just give the show a couple more seasons to get more mainstream and i think it would sell.
I feel like Takeda will literally just be his MKX version, keeping all his variations in his moveset(Except the Shirai Ryu one), with the difference being him a bit slower due to how MK1 works.
I want different intros and different outros like mk11 and more ways to obtain currency in game. When it comes to single player mk11 had so much more too do tbh especially with Towers of time. Otherwise this game is pretty much peak.
See what WB did was release the fatalities for WAYYYY more than they actually wanted to charge, so now they get free good will for lowering the price, and the price now looks "decent" by comparison. It's still a bullcrap mtx.
