Honestly love how powerful omni man feels, the speed + how every hit feels like he’s out for the kill is so satisfying, really boosts my hope that they’ll do Homelander well and he won’t just be a gory Injustice character

I’m expecting him to have some sort of passive effect like raiden where the more you hit him the angrier he gets, and you can build it up into a special move where he gets angry and gets baraka style fighting moves for a while. Kinda like Jason in a way

And I've been really messing around with which Kameo to use, I really like pairing him with Cyrax! Loved the fights in this vid, especially the Kitana/Jax and General Shao matches! And the Geras!!
Super fun watch. They did such a good job with Omni Man. I too am interested to see what they do for Homelander. Maybe even more evade/speed stuff and less brawl stuff? Homelander isn't a fisticuffs guy.

Max there is a better combo you can practice that I saw from the youtuber Trueunderdog, basically the ground pund juggle effect from when omniman becomes a missile can grund pound the enemy as long as you trick the game thinking they are below Omniman. Omni man's combos do 40 percent meter and assist less. Also said combo's combo string is safe on block if I remember correctly. 😁
The damage scaling gets ridiculously high too quickly imo, especially with the sheer number of blows some characters like Omni Man can shell out in absolutely no time
Disappointed you may be, but lazrbeems is about the only combat differentiating thing between homelander and omniman. Hes either going to be 90% zoner or basically superman, 4/5 specials are laser and one melee special. What else can they do?
As much as I hate to say it Homelander being a zoner is very likely Homelander isn’t much of a brawler like Omni-Man because he is absurdly stronger than everyone in his universe so he never really needed to push himself I’m guessing he’s going to be a highly mobile keepaway with maybe some grabs
If you need a more unique kameo for Omniman - I found a lot of success with Goro. His command grab allows for a lot of mean extensions for Omni man's own hitgrab combo starter - and of course his ambush kameos are just good.
Also - after some labbing I found that his best meterless/kameo combo from his 2 1 or 2 2 string -> VS grab isn't into AIR 2 1 2 -> side switch -> ender. Instead, after throwing them in the air do an air 1 2 string, then do a F4 1 1+3 once you land on the ground. Does about 30-ish more damage, and the timing isn't bad at all once you get used to it.
Anyone else notice the censored f bombs recently? Is it some kind of weird compromise with RUclips? Like "You can have the uncensored Fatalities if you censor those F bombs."?
You should try darrius with omni man, you can do some crazy damage by comboing off of his back shots "viltrumite 2" minimum 45% 1 bar and really easy too. B11 f4 12 db3,1 j212 dash 12 db3mb 2 kameo f41grab. Nice lil brutallity combo
When you kustomize a fighter/Kameo can select a favorite, then select to ‘randomize favorites’ In between matches…game will switch your color/outfits depending on what you picked as your faves

I mean with Omni man yea it’s basically anything into his stance throw then air combo finisher. There’s a back frwd 4 combo that is cool but very hard to pull off ends all the same tho. It’s what’s optimal the other stuff does less damage so why would anyone use it
Honestly, Omni-Man is broken. He has a lot of safe, stun locking, and pushback strings/attacks. The strongest and most effective playstyle is keep away. 12, d1 puts a lot of stagger on the opponent and not everyone can get out of it easy without meter. I think the reason why you aren’t winning as much is because you’re trying to have good/fun matches whereas everyone else are cheap btches! 😂 Also, his combo>grab>a.combo with one meter does 40% and is fairly easily performed. 🤷🏻♂️ he has a lot of great and easy options and is OP at the moment. My theory is that Tremor’s melee armor will counter Omni-Man’s basic/cheap playstyle and force people to go back to your playstyle.

I find using Motaro’s teleport is a better way to keep you safe then Stryker’s nades, though I imagine Stryker had better 50/50 routes

once people get into the habit of upblocking omni man’s overhead he does after stance. he’s not gonna be that much of an issue
