it's really sad, he sings "father where are you", his father died in Rwandan Genocide. it must be a bittersweet feeling that this song has made it big, having to remind himself of that fact. just like Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven being about his son who died tragically as a child

I've recently found his music and don't speak a lick of French but his music and his personality is infectious. What I find hilarious is his opening to this is American artist talking like they will do him a favor by working with him and then it cuts to him blowing away the stage at his concerts, his accolades and his albums sold.

Uhm, "the map" doesn't have a middle. From Japan's point of view, Japan is the center of the world map. It's different for everyone.
+Scy Not if you take the greenwich time line as the centre. Also if you type in "world map" in google images, you will see that most of those maps have the greenwich time line as the centre of the map.
+theskydoll Funny, most Americans who are into EDM music would 100% know where Belgium is. Tomorrowland ffs.
baby fart ''Most'' does not mean ''all''. No matter how often Belgium is in/near the middle of any world map, that concept still doesn't apply to ALL world maps.
+Scy Whatever country doesn't use the greenwich line centered world map is just being silly.
The pedestrians are looking at him like he’s weird meanwhile he’s selling out entire stadiums in Europe
Awwww.🥲🤗
I love that he has his dad's pic in a frame for this.
I lost my dad too.
🙏❤
is anyone gonna talk about the tiny picture of himself in that tiny frame tho lmao.
Jaehee💖💕
1:34 "...dois, três, quatro..." em português! 😆
Nem tinha notado 😅
É que tá mesmo perfeito
Na vdd é francês msm
@@davidejetski7811 não, não é
@@davidejetski7811 a pronuncia que ele fez nem se aproxima do francês
Seriously he’s just too cool and I wish he would make more music. I love everything...the video the lyrics, the music ... it’s all so good!!
WHY AM I FANGIRLING SO MUCH I DON'T GET IT
Eko Wolfe because Stromae is the best artist ever.
Eko Wolfe me too 😍
Me too 😆♡
Oh my gosh, he's adorable at 3:34 when he messes up his English haha "Ça va!"
I just love his outfits 💕 it mildly tugs at my emotions that no one noticed him. I hope he did find people who did notice I'm in Texas.
The way he gets his stuff out of the car gives me Mr. Bean vibes and I'm all here for it
I liked how The man just literally picked him up and put him on The seats just for a selfie 😀 At least someone from America knows him
It's actually a French YTuber! (Don't remember the name, tho)
Found the name : Jerôme Jarre!!!
@@Sir77Hill alright im late af but thats cool!!
I've recently found his music and don't speak a lick of French but his music and his personality is infectious. What I find hilarious is his opening to this is American artist talking like they will do him a favor by working with him and then it cuts to him blowing away the stage at his concerts, his accolades and his albums sold.
i appreciate him so much as a Artist and a human beeing. i love him!!!!
It embarasses me to just watch this... to think of having to be outside and do that gosh... the courage x3
His music is so amazing!!! I wish i could meet him in person!!!
This is music American, not that watch me whip shit..this guy is pure talent can't wait to c him.
Trust me, I hate the whip / nae nae thing too, I'm American.
The majority of Americans hate that song.
+jcdirty30 some people though...
Ikr, i hate that song. It's the biggest shit ever lol
Btw, not all americans are dumb enough to like that song, just look at the comments of that music video. either educated people who hate it or 8 year olds who can't spell right who say they like to dance to it.
Wow! I would flip if I actually saw Stromae in Atlanta XDD I had no idea he was so big in Europe. Meanwhile in the U.S. "Stromae...?" Lmao, we're so late XDD
It must've been refreshing for him to not be recognized in public. He would not enjoy anonymity like this in Europe. Am really impressed that MSG was packed and many arenas around the US were also packed even if majority had no idea who he was. He's a marketing genius as well.
Hij is kweeetnie hoe wijs, Il est formidable, he's just .. awesome !!!
+aasigraa De gazet gelezen, lol, ik ben ook daardoor hier =) Onze formidabele gast! :D
online gazet ja :p
aasigraa
ja :) ik ook
That wink and nod at 3:43 is smooth AF
Never tired of that song, he is a genius.
"the last part is the performance... and I'm freezing"
Such a shame that he has just vanished from the face of the earth 🌍
la pluie
He has a clothing brand I think
What?
Fredo Trivett he got Malaria
Like fr
I love this guy!!! His creativity is infectious!!!!
I'd go crazy if I saw him in texas 😍
Same here in California! I'm just too akward to go up lol!
Stranger: Where did you buy your clothes?
Stromae: Yes.
He has his own clothes brand :) It is called mosaert
I have now been waiting 7 years for his new song "to top it all off"
What a talent and what a genius!
Am I the only one who saw Jerome Jarre...?
no i saw him too!
Where????? OMG
At 2:49
Annie Pierre I just now noticed after watching this multiple times
Omg, I wish I could have been those places in NY city and just scream his name and introduce the Americans who is Stromae. I dont understand french, but speaks (sings) to my heart. Great guy , great music .Stroooooooomaaaaaaaee
I WISH I WAS THERE!! I live in the US and I love him! :) Too bad I'm on the other coast
