I like how Stromae gets into EVERY performance he does. He acts drunk in Formidable and stiff as a board in Papaoutai. Awesome!

Thadius Sales I think at this point it's just engrained in the song for him. I know a few artists who can't sing their songs without also playing their instruments. Studios hate them because they refuse to record the vocals separate from the guitar.

he also tends to do very feminine movements in tous les memes, which is awesome! it goes along with his half male/half female persona he adopts in that song

At 17:13, one of his musicians playing Formidable's chords just made a mistake on one chord, Stromae looked at him like wtf then he was just " yeah who care it's all cool " and just smiled. That's, gentleman, is a great solo artist who totally respect his musicians.

I just only hope that people touched by Stromae (out of the showbiz industry today and Fashion designer entrepreneur now) will try to understand not only the lyrics of his songs, but also his own story through his songs as being borned in Rwanda in Africa at the time of the genocide. Thank you very very much KEXP.

So even if it's paired with good adjectives like ''You're ridicoulously good, amaizing'' to us it will always seem like that good or amaizing thing wasn't good in a serious way but more in a so bad its so good way, like it made you laugh and it's good because of that.

Stromae, maestro.I'm glad you're back. After a year of work interruption, you make me want to teach young people like you again. Brilliant, floating between cultures. Show them the way to make something beautiful out of it.

The poet, the voice of his generation. We're still to see his peak, he is just getting started. Genius. Thank you for this video. Just big, heartfelt thanks.

Stromae is a genius. That was so good. He is a 100% artist. His songs make sense. He doesn't just make money, what he does is Art.

Excellent performance! He is so original and genuine in his storytelling. His voice is like from another era but goes so well with the modern synths.

Holy hell this man is attractive. His voice is so amazing. And he looks like a huge nerd and I love that! I really hope he doesn’t ever try to conform to what people want from him. ESPECIALLY Americans. They will ruin him like everyone else. His original style is perfect.
