- It was time to for me to finally pay respect to the wonderful artist, Amy Winehouse. She left a mark in the industry, and I wanted to watch some performances to celebrate her artistry.

growing up I despised mainstream ish music. But the 00’s mainstream hits so different. Lots of great music in that space
my favorite songs from Amy are Tears dry on their own, take the box, you sent me flying, you know i'm no good, some unholy war, he can only hold her, and so many more I can't help but loving this woman.

There was a moment in 2006 when modern British soul seemed to arrive at the same time with Amy, James Morrison's 'You Give me Something' and Corrine Bailey Rae's 'Put Your Records On'.
She was ahead and beyond her time, a truly gifted soul, life has a way of taking the best humanity has to offer.

Amy will always be one of my favourite singers from 2000's, her musicality and the way she sang some parts of her songs really different on any on her live performances, make her unique and she'll always be missed, and by the way FUCK BLAKE

I remember people saying Adele sounds like Amy. Like naw dude Amy is way better. Fun fact Marc Ronson did the production for the whole album. He also did it for Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. He's the white guy with sunglasses lol

she could sing a 100 live versions that would all be unique and hard to top ten... I think, she knew her voice like many great musicians knows their instrument... she spent years practising it... it's a such an unfair paradox that what spurred her singing and lyrical skills was what took her down....
