I love that Amy was another throwback to real music. I loved the Ronettes so much way back when, so the second I saw Amy I thought Ronnie Spector reincarnated! Heard she recorded Be My Baby but it was never release, something I would have loved to hear. But Amy, what a loss! Unique though, and missed.
I feel exactly the same way about not appreciating her at the time. The horrible "music" made today has made me look back on stuff I might have missed. I definitely missed Amy Winehouse. I'm glad I got her now, though
