Beautiful work, congratulations on the wedding, if I may offer a suggestion I would replace the sections left and right of the stairs with glass pannel so to enjoy more the view of the backyard, but if total privacy is your goal then mission accomplished. Kudos to you.

Sam, this turned out amazing! I love it, it looks so cozy like a little secluded secret garden in your yard. And I love how easy it is to replace boards if ever you need to. Or if your baby trees grow in and you are less looked upon by all your neighbors.

I personally would add yellow color somewhere, maybe even the whole wall to make it warm and cozier looking, otherwise it's more private now and looks good

How about using a router to carve a design into the planks, especially helpful that the planks can be removed if need be? Or create a memory board - everyone at the wedding can wood burn onto a plank?

OMG!! Thank you SOO much for sharing your privacy fence build!! My husband flipped over it too! We are going to do this with our deck, more for sun and wind protection than privacy, but it works. This hoft system is the bomb! I didn't even know it existed till now. Yes it is on the pricey side, but we are renters, and we love the idea that we can dismantle it and take it with us when we move.

Well, now I know the motivation for your wonder woman efforts in that heat. You knocked it out of the park big style girl. The deck is awesome. So beautiful. I love the railing. Love the privacy.
