Love the way YT will drop a video into my feed and it solves a problem I have. 1 bedroom apartment with the world’s tiniest kitchen, which I don’t mind as I’m not cooking a lot. But there’s no place for a microwave or toaster oven unless they’re on a cart in the dining area. That’s an area I don’t use for dining but is open to the living area. This gives me the solution to screening the area without having to have a folding screen that wouldn’t be very stable (2 cats with middle of the night zoomies.) Thanks so much, especially for the way you have attached to the ceiling, I’d never have come up with that!
You just gave me an idea for an outdoor panel. I didn't want to use the traditional lattice. These are very pretty if they will stand up to the weather.
I don’t know how I found myself here watching this video, but I just wanted to say this is so creative! And it looks so nice. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I will have to check out more of your videos.
Oh, wow. 🤤 Very Nyce. I will have to check if those panels are a fire hazard for my upstairs neighbor. Otherwise, the dividers in the thumbnail would be a safer option. However, this video is different from the thumbnail version. In the future, please show the actual video project in the thumbnail.
This is awesome! I can even paint it a different color. Also, I really enjoyed listening to you! You have such a cheerful, pleasant speaking voice. Thanks for the great video.
It’s a very beautiful room divider, but it’s very different from the one shown in the thumbnail, which I wanted to learn to make. Is there another video showing how to make that one?
The thumbnail is most likely an item sold through IKEA. This video is an IKEA “hack”. She used the same type of pattern for the inside. Just build a frame and put the flooring material she used inside the frame. Either router out a channel in the frame or sandwich it in between 2 pieces of wood.
Hey all of your designs are so beautifully made it’s budget and renters friendly You are the Queen of diy on YT. I love ❤️ it all so thanks for the inspiration You are definitely a blessing . Thanks Sis.
I’m sitting here trying to figure out a way to “block” a hallway from my cat. Not permanently, more like a door. I think this will work great. I’ll put it on a swing type hinge top and bottom. (No idea if it’ll work but it does in my brain). So it can be flat against the wall or swing to block the hall, I’ve not seen one of your videos in a long time and it just popped up! Perfect timing.
That is ingenious Yoduvh. I can't believe the cost of that Ikea flooring is on SALE for over $ 15 in just barely 3 months. 😮😢. Guess I will have to keep checking to see if the price drops or if I can find similar somewhere else.
Hello 👋🏽 and beautiful blessings to you Yoduvh, I'm so glad you are feeling better and stronger 🙏🏽💪🏾💐! This room divider is absolutely beautiful and amazing ❤🎉!
Like another comment stated, i thought we were here for the thumbnail version, where the unit is free standing...Would like instructions for that one. Also.. wondering about your thoughts on an even more affordable version.. what if i hung some very light weight curtains using the same method to hang them to through the cup hooks?!
This style of command fastener is 2 strips that mesh together like Velcro. So you would pull the wood down and then remove the command strips from the ceiling and wood separately.
Back in the day hardware stores had a kit. It was a wooden frame with legs and it was setting loaded. That went from floor to ceiling the springs allowed for height adjustment. The frame was grooved they sold panels that fit in-between. You could get solid or a cut out design, metal, wooden, plastic (like a what you used, only one solid piece). You could also connect then to make them wider. I used them in my apartment back in the 70's to separate my dining area, living room and kitchen area. Your concept is a little different but the idea is the same. Thanks for the memories.
I’ll start working from home 3 days a week and my desk will be close to the front door. I have been looking for a DIY to separate the front door and my dining room. Great Idea! Thank you for sharing.
So glad your channel showed up! I just bought a small camper that I'm gutting and this idea will be perfect to divide the area between my living room and bedroom. Ty
That sounds like a fantastic project! Using a creative divider can really transform a space like that. I’m glad the idea is helpful for your camper renovation. If you have any questions or need more tips, feel free to ask. 😊🚐
This gives me an idea to use as an easy curtain solution for my windows and for a privacy screen wall for my carport.to turn into a garage that will not be an enclosed building.
Suggestion; rotate the command strips so you can easily access the pull tabs for removal. Also in a corner test a tiny command strip to see if the paint doesn't get stripped.
This is a wonderful idea. I've been thinking about a privacy screen for awhile and saw some materials that looked similar to what you've found but I thought it was too flimsy. I love the item you selected from Ikea and think it will work for me too. Thanks so much.
Great idea. You could customize further by painting the panels any colour you want and use different materials for the edging strips like she mentions.
I’m glad you found the idea inspiring! Room dividers can be a great way to create separate spaces affordably and easily. If you have any questions or need more ideas, feel free to ask! 😊💕💕
I've been looking for something like this for my master bath with a half wall🙄 I tried several things but just didn't like it. I'll have to find these at IKEA💜💜 Thanks!!
Happy New Years I Love your rental video Oh yes your videos are so beautiful. The decorating is wonderful. I just love it and I will keep keep keep on watching. 😃
I love the look of this divider and how thoroughly you explained how to make it. The only part that was not clear to me was how you attached the metallic strips. Did you hot glue them to the lattice pieces?? Congratulations on your creativity! ❤️
I just adore your vlogs and talents. Question can you give me any ideas as to where or how I can get/make myself long curtains? I've purchased my first home and the windows are taller than normal. I appreciate you
This is amazing! Love it. I'm intrigued by your name. Im from South Africa and in one of our languages (Tshivenda) we have names/words with vh. Tshivenda is also spoken in Zimbabwe and Mozambique which are our neighbours.
A bed head board on one side, then living room on the other side. Geez, this was fanastic
What a GREAT idea, especially for someone in a studio apt!!!
Thank you so much! 😊🌟 Your appreciation warms my heart! 💖🏢
I love this - instead of using curtains or sheers!
I was thinking exactly the same thing…. Great idea 👍
@@yoduvhessentials6310Happy I found your channel again 🌷🌷🌷🌷

Same thing I thought and would like to know.
I cannot believe just how good this looks - it's flipping awesome girl ! And it's cheap to do as well. Utterly brilliant idea.
I can see people/guests asking where she bought it and wanting one!

Very cute way of separating me from my new neighbors 👍🏾. I love it.
I think I might use this as a headboard variation! It looks great.
That's a fantastic idea! A headboard with this design would look amazing. Go for it! 😇🤗💕💕💕
Genius❤❤ I think I'll steal your idea for my spare room.
Great idea
That would make a nice headboard
I love all the rental friedly videos because I rent, and I don't want to cause huge damage to the property.
Not to mention you could be sued. We also want that deposit back!
Yes.
On the other hand, this object has many holes, it seems difficult to clean.
I don’t know how I found myself here watching this video, but I just wanted to say this is so creative! And it looks so nice. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I will have to check out more of your videos.
This is fantastic! I love that light can still pass through the divider…great idea!❤️

Super!!! 👍👍👍

I have bben trying to think of a good floor to ceiling room divider since I started renting my apartment (a year ago)! This is absolutely brilliant!!!

@@stirrednotshaken4823 ohhh .. okay, thanks!
There are plenty of those dividers on wayfair and amazon
She’s been doing clickbait a lot lately which sucks cause she does make good stuff but it’s not what you’re expecting when you click on it
OOOOH! I am going to do this for our gazebo that is outside. So pretty and airy. Thank you for the inspiration!
This would be great for a dorm room!

I’d like to know how you did the divider that’s in the thumbnail where it’s freestanding and the panels are horizontal.
This is whart i thought i came here for... :/

My question mam is how do you get it off the ceiling since you can’t get to where you need to pull the tab? Love love this idea! U R AMAZING!

🤩 VERY, VERY NICE & I LOVE WHAT YOU DID!!! EASY UP & EASY DOWN... PERFECT JUST PERFECT, WELL DONE!!!! 💚

If you could get this on a rolling track of some kind this would be really neat for bedrooms that double as offices. Or hiding the kids play area.
Maybe one of those rolling clothes racks as a base?
Really much better than I thought it would be.. So thanks for sharing, girl.. ❣️
