I love Billy, I think he rocks. I don’t seen how one silly video could ruin a man with three platinum albums career. His music is just kick ass . I made my dad take me to buy don’t say no when it came out, I was 14.
Every song on it is simply great and timeless, I still play it even today, never get tired of it, my young son loves it to. I’m always Introducing him to older music only you wouldn’t know it’s older . You really can’t tell when it was made it’s so timeless . Most of todays music is trash.
I wanted my son to hear great music, he loves it. He plays guitar and loves the classics to. Thanks for the music Billy, your awesome.🤟🤟😎😎

I always thought it was because he followed up the video by coming out, which wasn't acceptable at that time. Horrible that being open about who he is killed Billy's career, but I'd wager that we also lost out on some great music because of the non-acceptance as well. Different time back then, it had its pluses and minuses. I had a good friend who was obsessed with Judas Priest and emulated Rob Halford until Rob came out. Then my friend hated Judas Priest and said all their music sucked. I never understood it, but it was his loss. Well done encouraging your son in guitar and glad he loves Billy Squier!

Bobby was F'in awesome! Thanks for sharing this concert. I wasn't a huge Squire fan growing up but as I've gotten older revisiting rock music I grew up with, I'm stating to give some of those acts I slept on their due.

@@jamesanderson3971 I love Billy, and that’s what they say but there were a ton of effeminate rockers in the early 80’s. Poison and Paul Stanley from Kiss come to mind first. It had to be more than just that video.

Impressive. Would not have expected it. Yeah there was some hokey 70's/80's bs and awful Sammy Hagger red leather, but, 30-some years later, remembering that he was likely the best of shit MOR radio for a few years, it's quite enjoyable and the potential for a lot more.
Just a little bit more of something would have kicked it into permanence.
