Out of the box, the Joyo sounds like a Fender amp's classic vibrato sound. Fender uses the word vibrato the rest of the world says tremolo. Same thing but, if you like that classic Fender sound, Joyo gets pretty close to it. I recently bought the Joyo pedal and was so impressed with it's authentic sound it went straight to my pedalboard where it will stay.
but vibrato and tremolo aren't the same thing, so Fender is wrong. I have the Joyo and the boss and both are great, but the boss is more versatile because of the wave knob. If the Joyo had that knob, it would be perfect.
You need to put the tremolo after the spring reverb in order to get the Fender sound. Just saying. The Joyo sounds best (most old school) in my opinion.
All sound good, really. Only owned the Boss, of the three, and the only reason I got rid of it was bc it has that SLIGHT lo-fi sound to it that most Boss pedals do, but the tremolo sound itself and functionality are great! Definitely thinking I'm gonna need to drop $30 to check out the Joyo next! Thanks for posting! :D
I own a Tuna Melt and for the price it's awesome. The other pedals are better as an 'effect' but the Danelctro is nice for an overall setting. More in the background.
Nice video! 1- Danelectro wins best sound, best tone and very beautiful vintage style ! 2- Joyo (sounds just a little bit good but anyway i hate that flashing light) 3- Boss i really don't like it...
The Boss one arguably is the worst, but serves the purpose I need it for the most. It's much more cutting, pulsating and throbbing. The settings also seem to be more versatile. The others SOUND better.
Nice comparison review! Danelectro is far better cause sounds clear and vintage! Joyo is cool but i really hate pedals with flashing leds, and Boss... sounds annoying and I don't mind about it !
Oddly there are some sounds that the Danelectro makes that are clearly more authentic 60's style, the Boss does a surprisingly good job, though for me suffers from the usual boss issue of being an affect, rather then an effect. In other words I always consider all boss pedals to sound false. That said, this is perhaps a better Boss than most of their offerings Have used Joyo pedals in the past and I like their solid construction combined with very good performance. This one does seem to give most of the tremolo sounds that we could want with the exception of wave shape that the boss at least offers.
Boss are pretty good... I never understood the Boss hating. Their pedals last unlike Electro Harmonix, they sound good at loud volumes unlike the bedroom kings DOD, your more likely to see Boss on working musicians pedalboards for a reason... and many of them are collectable. I don't get it... I used to feel like you until I actually brought a few and used them properly.
@@mikethebloodthirsty Have used Boss and Roland equipment in the past. We’ve all bought into the “Boss is the industry standard” thing. But almost without fail, have sold on any of my Boss and Roland equipment. There are certain boss items which hark back to Boss’s inception that are the reason Boss earned themselves the “industry standard” label. And why certain units are so collectible. Boss do a certain sort of thing and do it fairly well. But generally tend not to be to my taste, despite wanting to give them a chance.
That Danelectro pedal is ugly as sin and sounds flat in comparison to others. Plastic housing and hard to clean grooves, im not impressed with Danelectro vs my Belcat Tremolo for a fraction of the price.
I've used the Danelectro for years now. Does the job perfectly.
I use the joyo, and i love it

i just got a Joyo thanks to this video and i’m loving it

Also the tiny knobs on that Danelectro are a pain in the arse.
I have the Danelectro and it does the job. I have a Kalamazoo Model Two which has a nice tremelo but only the speed can be controlled.
I liked the Joyo most but the Danelectro had some sound that the Joyo didn't have that I liked, I wasn't big on the TR-2
I own a Tuna Melt and for the price it's awesome. The other pedals are better as an 'effect' but the Danelctro is nice for an overall setting. More in the background.
Gotta give it to the Dano with the Joyo coming in second. Boss pedals just sound cold to me.
Damn...I have the Tuna Melt and like it a lot but there does seem a volume drop here compared to B*ss. Not noticed it with mine.
Boss sound great. Joyo is not too bad sound good but need more presence in the tone. But works. Boss is the boss. 🎶
I've got the Danelectro and have to say that it's quite nice. I think it holds up really well against these other pedals too :-)
I prefer the Danelectro out of all of these.. Just personal preference I think. The other two aren't bad.

I think the pulsar is better than all three
it seems like it
considering the Boss retails at about £130 UKGB pounds and the Yoyo £30, says it all really.
I have the Boss and I think it’s pretty good. Gets all the classic sounds.
I liked the Joyo, but was not at all impressed with the Boss.
Is there any volume loss in the boss tr2 at higher settings?
All 3 sound good. The Boss a little more flexible.
1. Danelectro
2. Joyo
3. Boss
Question for the Joyo users: If i turn on the joyo on a pesalboard, will it lose gain or does it hold well?
Mañana pruebo el trémolo y te digo que onda
@@germanfrancescoli6388y lo llegaste a hacer, amigo?

I had the Boss which I loved but unfortunately got lost so I bought the JOYO for 1/3 the price and it does pretty good.
The TR-2 like hard rock to metal pedals. Joyo is nice...

Imagine spending $100.00 on a $25.00 pedal. Danelectro!
I like that the boss can act as a cutter as well.
Joyo has nice sound but the case is big
Older boss has volume drop if used with distortion
For the money the joyo is a great deal if you have a little more then the TR-2

They're all the same, but Boss enclosures are like tanks.
Boss is boss
Alice in Chains - Nutshell
Danelectro all the way...
This guy doesn't really know how to pull sounds though...
Hmmm, Joyo/Harley Benton, 30 Euros... winner winner chicken dinner.

nada se compara a boss ,isto chega a ser ilario
No two joyo pedals are the same. You get what you pay for.
