I have 10 different ones like this, and I daisy-chained 6 or so together, some I notice having less power/effect. Could I stick 9V batteries in the weaker ones to supplement the current, or do I need to just use these little cheap clickers for hockey pucks ?
@ThomasMetal75 Apples and oranges bruv, dan's and mxr's are useful for different things - danelectro effects are great for beginner/intermediate players who want to explore using effects and don't have $100+ to splash out on a single effects pedal. Personally I love danelectro pedals, and I'm also a fan of MXR, but for different reasons and different applications. If you don't fully know what you're talking about, don't try to make out that you do, it's embarrassing.
@thetexandub My philosophy is that younger or older people that are picking up guitar for the first time are not going to want t stick with it if their gear doesn't sound good. That's why I don't like Danelectro. You can get some good pedals from Boss that are not $100 (but you still can). I do like MXR, but if you don't need a certain pedal that costs $100, dont get it. Figure out what you need and make your purchase. Just get gear that sounds decent if you are just starting out.
i love danelectro...its a reallly good series...it has somthing i want....i love the little food names....LOL i need to get the pastrami overdrive and the grilled cheese back lol...they actually are decent in price...
I will never understand how they pick the guitar and amp combinations for their insane reviews. Why, oh why would you use a Duo Jet with a Marshall Stack, to show off clean sounds!? The Jet through a halfstack would sound fine if you're showing off an overdrive pedal, but they're not! Use a damn Fender Bassman or something for this, geez! Also, using a telecaster through a halfstack to show off your really cool "metal distortion" pedals is ridiculous.
Michael Wilson I loved this pedal and used it for years, but yes, the housing leaves something to be desired, but it helps keep the price low. Mine finally succumbed to too many stomps and too much spilled beer but I’m considering getting a new one and putting it in metal housing b/c I did dig the sound.
The worst thing Daneletro ever did was shrink their pedals down and change the plastic and colour scheme of their pedals. Seem very cheap and nasty now.
Thanks. You just saved me $35.
this smile :} = the stombox design. :3
This guy always seems as if he just got back from a funeral. : /

The French toast octave fuzz is excellent a little plastic tank
I think the only demos gearwire would do are tuner pedals.

Totally agree, and why always use massive gear that probably half the viewers can't afford? It's hardly a top of the range pedal either :/
dude read the instructions, the depth knob doesn't do anything in hard mode!!!
is anybody got Pikachu in their mind when looked at that pedal xD
I fell asleep ... anyone know how this ends? is it worth it?
Yeah bro, totally get u :v hehehehehe
It doesn't actually sound like it's doing that much, I prefer the Cool Cat.

Doesn't sound bad... I wish I could smoke what he has had! Small knobs. Not giggable.
