If you remove the back, switch, controls and jacks, pull the board out, on the backside you will find a small adjustment screw that adjusts volume when engaged. I managed to drill a small hole on the face of the pedal that allows me to take a small jewelers screwdriver and adjust this anytime I want. It’s a great pedal.
I started studying guitar only this year, and this was the first pedal I bought. I wanted to time travel back to the '50s and early '60s, and oh yes, I can Rumble with it.
I need one of these!! I love Joyo, their pedals are so simple - no unnecessary extras, just plain and simple trem. SOOOO cheap and well built too. Will be buying one of these
I bought one of these about 6 months ago in the UK for £29.50 - A bargain ! Just as reviewed here - sounds like an old amp tremolo and no added hiss :-)
Just bought this pedal and I must say I am impressed. If this is any indication of Joyo effects pedals, let's just say I am buying more. Played a little Creedence as a test and all I can say is wow.
The Joyo MOLO TREM is better than this?? I'm in doubt (because the price difference in my country). And yes, the MOLO have the "wave" option and it's great, of course.
It sounds nice if you're only using it in the classic way. But if you want to experiment with that choppy, Spacemen3 on off sound, you need something else.
I have got the pedal, but I really do not like it! It is not able to get wet enough for my taste. I would like it if it could be more stuttering or hacking, but it is blending with the dry signal too much. Even by setting the potis inside of it to the maximum it does not get that hacking that i like. I prefer behringers ultra tremolo, but it is wrapped in plastic which is really bad as well. Anyway, if you want a distorted signal to get stuttered or hacked this FX is not able to do it. For bluesy stuff it is quite cool! On th FX-side I would prefer the Ultra Tremolo, because you can modify the waveform from sine to square curves.
The cheapest brands have shortcomings in their construction and really should be avoided. Joyo is a step up from those but only costs a tiny bit more. It's a good brand.
Not too happy with this at all , when your playing with a band I find that it really doesn't cut through at all , better off with a behringer ultra trem if you want a cheap one...
Behringer is crap against Joyo/Harley Benton. Connect the Tremolo behind the distortion or in the effectloop between Amp and Speaker and it will sound great. But hey, thats only my taste..;)
I think this pedal would be better if the effect was more intense. At least it doesn't seem like you can get a sound like Rumble or Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
Take of the bottom of the pedal, and there are small dials to turn. They are VERY sensitive, so take a picture of where they are set before you tweak em.
Mine was great and then it just stopped working. Actually it works but only in on position. In bypass it becomes a Kill Switch, no signal passes through. Oh well cheap pedal.

I just bought this pedal, couldn't be happier with it! The decision to buy was based primarily on your excellent review. Keep up the good work mate!

I love this pedal SO MUCH it's permanent in my chain!!!
It's just a beautiful, subtle texture my Peavey Windsor needs!
Try it as a boost! It will make your whole signal sound better. Turn the rate and intensity off.. it's better than my EP Boost!
Bought this for a friend as a Christmas gift, now I'm finally getting my own!
It has two internal trim pots for wave form and gain. Some clever folks mod them to the outside.
As much as I really love boss pedals, I don’t see the need to even pay $50 for a used boss tremolo. This works fantastic
That's one nice sounding Tele.
Simple a beautiful. All a tremolo needs to be. Definitely going to pick one of these up
thinking of getting a tremolo pedal. one of the best demos I've seen today
most the other demos are laughable. It's like they don't even know how to play guitar
or have no idea how to use a Trem.
Just purchased this today, it's coming Saturday. Figured i want a tremolo pedal but don't want to spend $100 or more. I'm pumped!
Such a humble guy. And straight forward. Thanks man!
This sounds excellent to me...With really good control over the effect.
Bought this pedal new for $22. Worth EVERY penny!
Everything is great n all but what is up with the dog image?
it's old yeller
Yogen Grg well, if you see a pit bull looking at you this way I'd guess you would.....Tremolo?
It's kinda dope
It's awesome
It’s a pit bull with a wig on. Lol. What’s not to love about that artistic interpretation of what Tremelo sounds like. 😅
Great review Shane as always!
Turn the rate and intensity all the way down then turn the pedal on. It's an amazing boost!
Ou yesss! ....amazing
FLASHBACK JUST IN!!! :) Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan came to mind right away when the trem kicked in :)
I bought one of these about 6 months ago in the UK for £29.50 - A bargain ! Just as reviewed here - sounds like an old amp tremolo and no added hiss :-)
Joyo will dominate the world
Just bought this pedal and I must say I am impressed. If this is any indication of Joyo effects pedals, let's just say I am buying more. Played a little Creedence as a test and all I can say is wow.
mark caserta their space verb is lovely too
this pedali just catcher my heart... very cheap and very well done. Great JOYO!
This is crazy! I'm buying this immediately!
Joyo makes some of the best pedals around for the money! I don't play for a living, so I don't have the need for super expensive boutique pedals.
This looks good. I bet combining this with a chorus you can get great Leslie sounds!
Beeastman123 throw an octave pedal in there too. Perfect
did you play badfish from sublime at 3.00 min?
Got one after hearing you. Sounds sweet, bargain price, no issues. Wacky logo. Oriental icon for pulsating sound? Good fun 😂 thanks for demo.
Is this better than the Behringer?
Is it in front of the amp or in the amp loop?🤔😌
Did you ever do a video for the Joyo "Tai Chi" pedal" I thought there was one you uploaded, but I can not find it. Thanks!
Sounds great. I own a Boss Tremolo that sounds good but has a volume drop.
is it true that it boosts the volume *a lot* in send-return?
Did you say those were Joe Biden pickups??
joe barden
aaggagahahhaahaahahahahhaA
Haha, I heard that too!
They're a bit "touchy"
i swear i heard the same thing twice
ayo i know i'm pretty late but does it work great with a bass?
Which other high cost pedal is this a clone of? I really love it but I've always wanted to compare it with that "original" one
Nice Guitar !
The Joyo MOLO TREM is better than this?? I'm in doubt (because the price difference in my country). And yes, the MOLO have the "wave" option and it's great, of course.

Earthquaker devices for the psychedelic stuff
Paul TheSkeptic nice reference.. It does sound sweet though. What would you go to for the spacemen 3 sound?
Fluff: here's my clean tone. Intheblues: let's try now on drive channel. My life is a lie.
What's the story behind the dog on the pedal?
this pedal looks cool and it's super cheap but I don't think it gets crazy enough for me
Try a EQD Hummingbird....that thing goes nuts into helicopter territory....does a slicer type trem too.
Hi, is this pedal analogue or digital
Cool! 👏👏👏
I have this one! It does the trem thing. I'd buy it again.

So this is Shane six years ago. You look a lot younger there bloke, but then I guess we all did, eh?
I saw one of these for 22$ holy crap!
No Rumble demo ????? 😮
i have this pedal. the intensity just doesn't seem to cut through.
I'm starting to hate it now.
What's the difference between a flanger and a tremolo?
A tremolo cuts the volume in and out while a flanger is a phaser that brings your tone into more greater extreme
Ia tremolo is “ti-ninininini” a flanger is “bwawawawawaw”
is a Tremolo a Delay ?
It modulates volume, so no
Was that badfish I heard ? :)
what is better this or a 200$ trem?
Is it noisy?
No, it's great
Perfecto para "boulevard of broken dreams"!
Can we hear how it sounds with a right handed player? And Not some FREAK lefty
Not too happy with this at all , when your playing with a band I find that it really doesn't cut through at all , better off with a behringer ultra trem if you want a cheap one...
Behringer is crap against Joyo/Harley Benton.

But hey,thats only my taste..;)
You can mod the Joyo, Behringer uses surface mount components so you cant mod it.
Tremolo isn't really my thing, gives me a headache for reasons unknown.
+Brendolicous I agree, I had to stop the video because it was giving me a headache.
Brendolicous or a stomach ache. For me, it's gotta be either more gradual or just cut the sound completely
Brendolicous see a doctor bro, something's wrong with you!
the tone is far too high. thats probably the cause. i can feel it .. maybe he needs to adjust the tremolo a bit so this high tone is disappearing
what might that be?? serious question, lol
Hei man! Sorry but i think you could put your strato logo to the left hand side, exactly like you play. Maybe be better!!! :-)
It’s not modulation as the pitch stay the same ..it’s just volume changing.
It's considered a modulation pedal. It's also changing the sine-wave of the signal.
00:45 joe biden pickups
0:45 Joe Biden pickups??
I think this pedal would be better if the effect was more intense. At least it doesn't seem like you can get a sound like Rumble or Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
There are internal trim pots! You can get anything outta this little guy!
Chrismayo1981 Great tip, man. If I was going to buy a tremolo, it would definitely be this one.
Take of the bottom of the pedal, and there are small dials to turn. They are VERY sensitive, so take a picture of where they are set before you tweak em.
Is it true bypass?
Blues Man yes 👍
nice pedal, and they are really cheap, gonna get one.
Mine was great and then it just stopped working. Actually it works but only in on position. In bypass it becomes a Kill Switch, no signal passes through. Oh well cheap pedal.
Actualy the dogs trem a lot
Badfish \m/
That Joe Biden pickup forgot where it was, and tried
to sing the Chinese national anthem.😳🤪😂
I could have sworn he said Joe Biden pickups! 🤣
