I had most of these pedals when I was on a Tremolo hunt not long ago. The Voodoo is the one I kept. To my ears, it always sounds like it's at a variable modulation rate (but of course it's not) for how smooth and subtle the way the effect reacts to the original signal. The Demeter was a close second for me but that volume boost was a bit too much for my liking and it also shows in this demo. I should also note that the Demeter Tremulator I had was modified by Demeter Amplification to include an internal trimpot for volume, but I preferred having a knob on the pedal because tremolos are usually near the end of the signal chain on a pedalboard and they're often nice to use as a volume boost at the end (or near the end) of a signal path.
I had the Flint for about two weeks. It has to be the most overrated pedal ever. People that live it have probably not owned many other terms or verbs. I mean the verbs are ok, but the trem is just kinda bad. It sounds so artificial.
FullTone wins for me because you can adjust so much with your feet. The Joyo served me extremely well for a good while though. When I sold it and bought a reasonably expensive British made Trem it wasn’t the upgrade I expected. I’ve settled on a Supa Trem now and hopefully I’ll never feel the need to change
Source Audio currently builds the most accurate Spring Reverb outside of the real thing,( which also has a full Trem built in), - the True Spring ,- and the Vertigo also covers a lot of ground .Because they are digital, and at a higher price point( as they should be, considering quality and components) ,they don't get the attention they deserve. But you can't go wrong with any of their designs, which can be programmed to cover individualized multi effects in one. Any and all parameters can be adjusted with the Neuro App, - which is great with effects like Trem, which clearly can differ greatly, circuit to circuit.
In your opinion which tremolo would you suggest for acoustic guitar? Looking for one that. Doesn’t saturate the signal with the effect so much. Maybe a blend/mix button?
Great Shootout. In this Demo, I preferred the Fulltone and the VooDoo Labs . . . but I am going to purchase The Diamond. Its Analog, Optical, Tap Tempo and 1/2 Speed Tap, Random, Chaos, Chop and Time Signatures. Also Sounds Incredible.
I have that voodoo lab trem, been using it for years... I bought it as an upgrade to the tuna melt. in this shootout, that voodoo lab was my least favorite sounding trem of all of these. by comparison, its just so... meh. i miss my tuna melt.
Wow the flint sucks! #1 Supa Trem, #2 Tuna Melt (luckily excactly the ones that I have), #3 Tremulator, would be #1 if it was a little smoother at lower depth settings
Joyo is sounds like TREMOLO on Amp,,,,,,all the rest is like an artificial sound Tremolo,,,,when it comes to money?it's a Fake money,,,,,,,now let's go back to this video just Joyo Tremolo put it on Fx loop,,,,and you experirence what im talking about

The Strymon was my least fave & probably cost more than the rest put together.

Strymon tremolo is shit

SA stuff is quality. Ultrawave takes my spot as their best trem pedal. One of my favorite of all time, and I've owned hundreds.
Awesome....love my Voodoo!!!! And my Nasty Seymour Duncan don't forget tath beast too is not in the video!!!!
I actually preferred the Joyo, good thing cause I just ordered one...
John S cheapest too.
@@sefton1972 good clone
Superb sound quality on this video
Thank you!
I've got the Joyo and I enjoy using it. The only thing I modded was the silly print of the angry dog. No need for it.
Looks funny though
The tremulator is my favorite
If I could choose any, it'd be the Flint. Knowing my cheap ass, it'll be the Tuna Melt.
Fulltone Supa-Trem for the win!

many thanks. v. good work.
Tremulator #1!
Demeter adds the most volume here. Kind of lean towards it and the Fulltone. The source audio is my least favorite.
thanks, demeter and flint for me
Gad! You turn the knob one way for a second, we hardly get to hear what that sounds like and then you're moving the knob again. Maddening!
Voodoo lab win

in a blind test joyo should have won
Joyo is
Joyo vs boss? 🤣

Effects on an amp is also artificial sound.
You mean , more organicn sounds from the Joyo? i like it too. Also the Azor trem, not in
The Flint is the best Tremolo and Reverb ever made...
Steven Penny which is another reason it's so damn expensive!
The harmonic tremolo on the Flint is absolutely killer!
