Hello, I want to chime in and let you know that it's not the problem for all Androids, my Xioami and Rog phones easily work with NTFS hard drives, read and write both but Samsung, Moto and some other brands like you said still don't. So there is definitely a capability for these brands to fix this issue
I think those are devices with OTG hardware
@@TheBismrk its not a hardware issue as there are some 3rd party apps which allow you to write to the NTFS storages like you already know, it can be fixed with software

When was this video made? My A22 can read, but not write to NTFS Hds.

Are you certain that you're trying to connect a drive that is formatted in FAT32 or ExFAT? If you're trying to connect a drive with an NTFS file system, then you will need to back up your data and reformat the drive to FAT32, or ExFAT.

Unfortunately, the only way to change the file format of a drive is by reformatting, and by doing that you would completely erase the contents of the drive. So before you look into changing the file structure of your drive we always recommend backing up any critical data that you don't want to lose.

Unfortunately, yes! Formatting a hard drive will remove all the data from the hard drive. So if you do format an NTFS drive to FAT32, you will need to back up your data first, otherwise, you will lose all of it.

Fun fact, I downloaded movie on my usb stick and plugged it into the DVD player and It said only NTFS cannot be readable and my phone formated it to the NTFS format. I don't understand 😭

I have a Note 10plus and A53 . A53 can read and write on external 4tb drive. Note 10 plus only read. 😵💫🥵 Its a canvio Toshiba
