Good vid 👍 It's stupid that Google hasn't introduced any kind of native in NTFS or exFAT32 compatibility yet. Regular fat32 is too old, outdated, slow, limited & flat out obsolete for today's amount of data we use! They really need to work on update it to be compatible with other faster and more efficient up-to-date formats!

Amazing man. I'm shocked that it actually worked but so glad. My hdd was 500gb of important memory on ntfs so I really didn't want to format it and erase everything. After 5 crashes, a region locked app (for some reason) and so much time, it eventually worked. Thank u❤

Sir I have a problem with my pendrive, I just format my pendrive and I unmount it and then i insert it again in my phone but now I can't see it in my file manager and I notice also that the red light in my pendrive is not blinking. Do you have any solution?
You can do one thing , if you or anyone you know have computer or laptop then try inserting your usb pendrive to check if your usb pendrive is detected by computer or not.
What if the pendrive still not detected by the computer?
Then your usb pendrive might have become bad.

But is using those extra apps in order to use on android NTFS still faster than fat32 & can it handle files larger than four 4gb the same way it does like when using NTFS on PC?
Yes, it should be able to handle above 4GB in NTFS.
Awesome! I tried an older method before this that involved 3 apps, a lot more fiddling, took a way longer to set up that was really slow & still didn't even handle 4gb+ files or even support every file for some reason. It's annoying that we still have to do anything like this at all in order to use NTFS, but your method is way simpler & works way better than some other methods! 😁 Thank you for replying. 👍

This tutorial only works with ntfs formatted pendrive. If you have computer then insert your USB pendrive and check its properties if it's FAT32 or NTFS formatted.

Firstly, try enabling " usb debugging" option by going to phone settings > Developer option and try reconnecting your HDD drive .

when i try to write on the hdd by copying image to it, it says Error writing to the *path/of/hdd*, how to fix it?
My Wd passport external Harddisk has a password set through pc.

Hello, i have problem with my phone and that app.
My phone doesn't support ntfs drive, i tried to follow the steps in your video but gave me nothing..
So i think the problem is in my ntfs drive not enough power supplied from my phone.
Then i tried to connect my flashdrive (Fat32 formatted) to my phone and working normally without using any apps.
I tried to change my flashdrive fat32 format to ntfs format then i plugged in to my phone and gave me same problems with my hdd drive i used before.
The paragon app showing this:
"Connected device is not supported" sometimes "permission for connected device is not granted"

Samsung s9 plus (android 10 one ui 2.5)
Toshiba 1TB HDD
ADATA 8GB FD
OTG 3.0 TYPE C
I think it's paragon app device incompatibility - you can report about it to the app developer in playstore , so that it can be fix.
Android Smartphones support directly only Fat32 formatted pendrives but failed to recognise NTFS formatted pendrives Directly - So whenever you try to connect NTFS formatted pendrives in Android Smartphones you will get this message " Tap to fix " > format .
