I had a 2018 Ecoboost and it was a fantastic car. Everyone hates on it, because it isn't a "real" Mustang, but it was a lot of fun for the money. I have a GT now, and I do still miss it sometimes, mostly at the gas pump.

I rented one of these- I was extremely impressed- It's fun to drive, turbo pulls good, great gas mileage, smooooooooth.. This is a well engineered car.

How bad was the mpg on the gt? I currently have a 19 eco as well but I was planning on trying to pay it off quicker than planned to trade for a gt but I drive a lot to work and school so I’m tryna weigh in all variables
@@saisriram7775 I live in the Deep South so it rarely snows. It drives great in the rain. I also get 35 MPG on the highway which is incredible for a nice sports car with 310 horse power. I know people want the 5.0 GT to be "cool" but my ego ain't that small that I need a loud, race car to prove anything. I'll take my Little Red Mustang
I own the EXACT same car (even the color) but mine is the auto. I LOVE it! My last Mustang was a 1990 GT and they have about the same HP so it definitely gets out of it's own way. Very fun car to drive!
I own a 2019 base model with a wheel and stripe package with 19 inch wheels 6 speed and LOVE the car! I use it for my 80 mile daily commute. Horsepower is 310 and 350 foot pounds @ 3000 RPM. Lot of power down low and you can stream your music with the crappy Sinc unit.
i got my 19 Mustang GT base for 28 grand and the heat extractors are indeed functional on the hood. there are cut outs underneath the hood if you just take a quick peak.

I’m really impressed with the nuts and bolts, a 4 cylinder turbo with 310 horsepower, multiple setup modes, well appointed interior. Im starting to seriously consider this vehicle and a set of winter tires for it. They’re getting listed for $23k.
Best bargain sports car is the Miata. This is second best... but is the first best option if you don’t fit in the Miata. As for the “not a ‘real’ Mustang” stuff? Balderdash. The car wants to GO. Plenty of speed, plenty of acceleration, plenty of power.
I bought my base model thinking that all the mustangs came with that sexy touch screen. But i found out when i got it I was wrong....really wish Ford would give love to the base models and stop being cheap fucks
Sean Meyers it’s an insult to their customers to put a little rinky dink screen in their base mustang. Just to bolster their reputation they need to include that 8 inch touchscreen at cost. Just tack on the 500-1000$ that it costs(probably cheaper, who knows) and add it to the base price.

Sean Meyers thanks for saying this. Mustang began pulling young buyers and a lot of them think of mustang as a higher brand than ford. I hope ford realizes this and make base model feel nice as well. Also did you know around MY 18 or 19 they got rid of lights on automatic transmission? How much did they save, like two dollars? I really don’t understand these mismatch of having keyless entry and automatic lights as standard yet no touch screen or having manual seat.

@@minimaldrip8177 If the gt is around 100k miles then yes but sadly cars now are expensive and a gt will not be lower than 33k . A brand new base ecoboost is around 27k with taxes
Kinda hard to answer that. Look around for others like it and see if the pricing is competitive enough for you. If the pricing is good and the quality of the car is good then go for it!

Please Bryan do some homework on the car before discussing. 310HP\350 torque. You say no sunroof, there is no sunroof available on any Mustang, that would have been a great option. Though I do thank you for trying to show a base model. I agree the infotainment system is a bit cheap. My wife's Hyundai for 5 g less has an incredible stereo. Ford just did a bad job there. Otherwise my 2020 is amazing. You are right about the 6 speed manual, that is until you get stuck in tight traffic. Thanks.

NC vs SC won't really matter for pricing unless you just find a good deal somewhere. But yes, there are tons of options for upgrading the head unit. Check out the Tesla screen upgrade of you want to see something cool.

There’s plenty of 2019s going for 25-26k with 18-19 inch more premium wheels, the 10 speed auto, and sync 3 ( cloth seats but the bigger screen with the toggles - I forget the package number).. and cheaper if you select manual.
Inadequate? Based on what? I’ve had my 2018 base model ecoboost in Ruby Red with 6-speed manual, 101A and wheel and stripe package. Bought it for 28K including tax and title. Since I bought it, I’ve done some minor mods (Steeda clutch spring, strut tower brace, COBB stage1+ OEM tune, custom 2.5” exhaust). It’s a lot of fun to drive as a daily driver, and as a weekend case for winding roads. Runs like a champ.

I got mine in Velocity Blue for 19.9k and then with Taxes came out to 27k and I love this car.

It's not the fill track apps, but there are some basic functions like the 0-60 and such.

Is it safe to drive this car in winters with winter tires as I have heard a lot of negative reviews about RWD car drive in winters. I live in Toronto.
Good snow tires on all 4 corners would do wonders for any car in the snow. Just know it won't be like a 4wd or Subaru.

the car was not on, that is why it was showing the battery, because it was using up the battery.
Yeah they light comes on when the car is turned on, but not started. Pretty much all cars do this.
