It sucks customers can't control what they spend their money on. Many other car companies, you can build the car that you want. Not with Toyota. I was in the market for a new Tacoma, put all the dealer add-ons was a game changer. $70 mandatory for phone cords? No thanks, I obviously have my own. Now this car, you're stuck getting black or red interior. Wtf. Sad that the lower trim XLE has options that the top trim doesn't. Memory seats, rain sensing wipers, memory mirrors. What a joke.

They come with Geolanders. I have those steps on the way. Mine came with NO floormats. Dealer said Japan sends what they send--no options. Also, the load limit for the cargo space is 120 lbs.

I recently bought a 2022 Toyota highlander xle, after I saw your comments about using the key fob to start it up the car remotely I tried it and it works. After I had the car for a few months the key fob stop working and the car doesn't start up anymore. Can you tell me was is the problem? I will really appreciate your help in this matter. What the main fault is with this car is that people are being forced to pay a ransom for numerous electronic gadgets and features that they do not need or will never use. The front grill design also looks odd without any openings - an oversized piece of plastic that cheapens the overall look of the car.

I would say pricing is the issue. People will cross shop the crown with the camry and likely go with the cheaper, more traditional looking camry.

I also see on some websites an 80.00 year option for the connect service, which alows for starting via the app.. is that available, I dont see it on Toyota's site..

I have had all six Avalons that have been made and I bought each one when the new model was introduced. I loved the car and some years ago I had a 2007 a Avalon and my wife had a 2013 Avalon. I was waiting for the crown to replace the .2007 Avalon but it seemed never to enter the Toyota stable of cars. So I bought a Cadillac which I love. Now that I have see. The Crown and went over it with the dealer I felt informed about the car. However I decided not to buy one for several reasons. Price at 50K is high for a Toyota, While the interior has a luxury feel it does not grab you and tell you this is Luxury. So I am in the process of negotiating a price of the 2025 Cadillac AT5. This car speaks Luxury! I will be able to get this car for about $51K I liked how the Crown looked but it did not spell Luxury like the Cadillac it spelled Toyota a great car that is dependable, will last forever and will hold its resale value. If your key fob remote start used to work but doesn't anymore, you may need to download the Toyota app and activate the Service Connect free trial. This made my key fob remote start work again.

I have a '22 Highlander Limited with premium sound purchased on 04/23. It was the sales managers vehicle which was owned by the dealership. Today, 11/30/ '24 I noticed the remote start with the key fob stopped working. I am totally pissed that Toyota is so dishonest. It is practically top secret that this feature even exists. I only found out about it while viewing "The Car Care Nut" on You Tube. SO, I did some digging this afternoon and discovered that if I signed up for the,"SERVICE CONNECT" feature on Toyota's App the remote start feature will magically re-appear. It's free so I took a leap of faith. Damn if it didn't work! A Christmas miracle! Still, Toyota sucks for putting their customers thru this.

Enough of the wow words. This is mother nature. You dont know when this could happen again. You need to to study science. Ask me Ive been through 8 hurricanes in Florida. At least the houses there are not little stick houses with no foundations .

Was only able to use remote start for the 1st 6 months, and now it won't work at all!~ Mine is a 2021 TRD Sport Taco 4x4, was the dealerships service manager lease vehicle!~ That is bullshit in more ways then ever, paying to use a feature that is on the vehicle that would be useful in winter time, but this just showing u how greedy companies have become since covid-19!~ My only concern is the radio was switch and not sure if the Toyota Connect will work now with it, as u need to input stuff!~

Thanks for this video! This is my dream setup tundra. Crewmax 6.5 bed with tow in either the platinum or 1794. With trd package would be nice but not sure I’ve ever seen the long bed with trd and tow mirrors available ever (although you can build it on toyotas’s website currently). Question! The mirrors seem to have about every automatic feature.. I’m curious if both the main mirror AND the lower blind spot mirror are both adjustable via a switch from the driver seat. Any idea? I mean obviously the main upper mirror has control but does the lower blind spot mirror have control as well? Thank you.

I opted out and disabled all Toyota remote features due to their horrific privacy practices. It's one of the worst I have ever seen. Somehow my remote start still works. Here is a snippet of what they collect but not all "they can collect a whole heap of personal information on you through your car, the Toyota app, and their connected services. This includes everything from personally identifying information such as name, address, phone number, email, online identifier, social media ID, and demographic information such as your age, to driving behavior such as acceleration and speed, steering, and breaking functionality, and travel direction, to lots of information about your car including VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), interior and exterior image data from cameras and sensors in your car, facial geometric features. They even can collect sensitive personal information such as precise geolocation data, biometric information." And yes the absolutely sell this data, including insurance agencies. Really appaling.

It's NOT worth the money. How can you pay that much money 💰 and you can't have anyone in the REAR SEAT? They need to rethink and correct that.
