Before I retired, I spent portions of 21 years responding to large scale disasters. I have worked floods, hurricanes and tornadoes, including two F-5s! The damage I’m seeing exceeds anything I ever experienced! It’s mind boggling! It’s really surprising to see the massive damage done by what seems to have been the smallest of streams. Some of the flooded areas I myself would have felt secure in building a home to live in. There’s absolutely no way people could have been prepared for that or taken any mitigation measures to prevent it! 😳🙏🏽😢
i remember after the one's one in Louisiana the last big one people were sleeping in tents in Lake Charles, Louisiana but the media for about them and us really cause a smaller one hit New Orleans again after it hit us like we were hit after Katrina in 2005 we were destroyed for a year at least on the west side of Louisiana but the east side kept getting all the attention. It will be a long hard road most likely and with this other hurricane coming i hope they don't forget about you all like they did us.
It bad ,and I’m praying you get the most help for those people in need , and it’s sad that the local government,1let people build in low laying river beds in the first place,,,2 there should never ever again,,be anything built ,below the high water mark from this flood,3 the government should buy ,,out everyone in the lower than the high water mark ,,ok they should do the right thing and build pads up on the sides of the canyon and get it done thanks BigAl California,,, praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏
This is a Land Grab program. They want to mine the minerals under these mountains. They want the Mica that is underground. Do NOT sell your LAND to anyone. You have done a Great Job. We are here in N GA Praying and watching your activity. I just wish I could be there and help.

Unfortunately, you are probably right. They make millions off of misery.
