Since the 90's X-Men cartoon when I was a kid Bishop and Cable have been two of my favorites. I would really like to see a Bishop / Cable movie in the future. And their stories line up quite often too over the Sentinel Saga.

I'm bishops number one fan he's my favorite all-time character. This was one of the best videos yet. I give it an A- You guys missed a few important facts. When he absorbs energy, he releases 10x greater than he received it. The last two things are that he has the ability to let his soul go. Also, he has dream time, and you guys fail to mention. This skill was a mystical ability acquired from his aboriginal lineage.
Who has he beaten that is noteworthy? He sounds like he could hang with and beat all the heavy hitters.

Bishop is one of the least unique characters for Marvel there are much better characters that have his type of powers that were around before bishop like Sabastian Shaw both created created by John Byrne

Bishop is a lot powerful than perceived in the comics. The real comic book readers know about XMEN 304 the 30th anniversary issue the events that took place at a funeral. Bishop turned the tide by himself!

Bishop is so underutilized in the comics. He incharge of Krokoa war college now. He pointed out that 90% are soft and they need to be war ready for the future attack on the mutant race
Bishop (his first appearance) was the shit his look, his powers and his back story was awesome but of course as time went on they shitted on him and made his image and his back story extremely craptacular. His powers alone make him omega level mutant 💪👍💪

I freaking loved Sebastian Shaw in first class and his power is one of my favorites. But after researching Darwin a bit there’s no way the attack he used would have killed him. Not saying he couldn’t kill him at all but the attack that was used is child’s play compared to what he can handle😂

Cable is more of an anti-hero than Bishop.
Bishop is Goated! Stopped a train by riding the rails and pushing the front of it and absorbing the energy of gambit charging the whole thing and redirecting it through the rails and the train. But I didn’t see in the vid where they mentioned magneto 🤷🏽♂️. Dope vid regardless

Bishop turned Magento's power against him. There's not many mutants who are capable of beating Magento with his own powers, except Synch, Vulcan, Storm*, and Hope. Bishop, Rogue*, and Polaris will be close enough to beat Magento. Mimic is the only one whose not powerful enough to be competition against Magento.

Bishop is a great character. They need to put him on a team with others from the XSE like Shard, along with Malcom and Randal.
I remember when bishop was fighting cyclops in the animated series bishop absorbed cyclops beam after that wolverine told bishop "try absorbing these" as he showed bishop his claws.
And wolverine got his ass whooped as usual
Remember when he almost sent onslaught's attack back but then fainted cause it was too much to absorb and send back he was so close! ✊🏽
I've already been a fan of Bishop. He always looked like an athletic body building mutant. Of course he's way more than that but everybody gets the point.
I kinda love how some mutants have been retconned into having better powers! Bishop and Gambit's powers started out kinda lame. Seems like Lucas in an Omega at this point.

Considering both of them basically absorb energy (in Rogue's case, life-force), I'd say it could go either or. Though probably Rogue would drain him. Honestly, I'm like to see if Bishop could learn from Rogue how to siphon energy from other people and gain their powers.

Kinda like strong guy
Sort of. Sébastien absorbs kinetic/ explosive energy, can store it to make himself super strong and nigh indestructible, and he can release it.
Bishop absorbs all energy types, although kinetic is the hardest one for him (he went to shaw to learn how to do it better). If he absorbs more than one type of energy, he can combine it. When he releases energy it's 10x what he absorbs, and he can store it for a strength/defense boost, but it's not as good as Shaw's.
His current ability is lackluster in the mobile CCG Marvel Snap. Hopefully, the developers add a card variation system to the game sometime this year.
Pair him with Mysterio and you gain +power to all 3 lol

He can absorb ambient energy, but it's not as effective as absorbing energy directly.
