There's always a weird feeling I get at the end of every Kingdom Hearts game. It's the strangest thing too, it's something that nothing else has ever made me feel. I can't tell what it is, an extreme feeling of sadness that it's over, relief of the ending, a want for more, or happiness that it's been resolved. But it's like there's dragons, not butterflies, in my stomach, and I'm still smiling. Given I'm not good with feelings, but has anyone else felt that?
Thinking of you, wherever you are. We pray for our sorrows to end and hope that our hearts will blend. Now I will step forward to realize this wish, and who knows. For those of you asking why Sora wasn't as emotional at seeing Kairi as he was with Riku, it's because Sora knew that he would find Kairi again, so he was relieved to see her, but Sora didn't know what happened to Riku, so he got very emotional. Imagine if you found your best friends, one you never thought you would see again and one you knew you would see again. Who would you be more emotional about? So, that's why.

I played these games when I was like, 8, and have never understood the vast and incredibly deep entirety of the plot of these games. But god damn if it didn't bring me to tears to watch Sora come back to Destiny Islands again...

Well seingas sora/roxas has the ability to collect hearts with the keyblade then it fits that roxas amd xion and axel stays with him. And we all could see that roxas had a thing for xion.

Mainly Indie games are the only games with a linear storyline now in days. Having a free, open world is fun, but we definitely miss out on story and character.

The fact you have him as someone you can have in your party and kick ass in the Colosseum and the way he is sent of in the credits brings so much nostalgia seeing the pyreflies float around the Colosseum. Tbh to have him as a party member was one of my favorite parts of the game.
I don't know if it was just me but after such a long story, lasting four games them being separated for so long. Finally reunited to how it was supposed to be in the start of the first game. To me I cried I cried so hard of happiness like finally. Why just why make more kingdom hearts past this, that means conflict something bad happens and to me it's already perfect. That's why I stopped playing kingdom hearts after this one, I couldn't bear to see them get separated again.

Around 4:33:00, does anyone else ever feel like balling like a baby during that scene? It's such a beautiful ending ^_^ And those who have played most/all of the games and liked it and know the story, may have probably let out at least a tear when they saw the ending. I can definitely guarantee that there were people who cried hysterically when the Kingdom Hearts III trailer was shown to the public XD but it has so much sentimental value which is why I can't help but get emotional during the game's story.

Kairi's letter to Sora makes much more symbolic sense in Japanese when you realize that Sora's name literally means "sky" in Japanese. So when she is talking about all the worlds sharing the same "sky" she means the all share Sora as well, since he has travelled to them all and impacted so many lives and saved so many people in each world.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is amazing, if I was like Sora I would know how it would be like fighting for the people I cared about. Everything was so amazing, seeing disney character, fighting beside them going through so many adventures, it just felt like a dream come true. If Naruto can get his long-awaited kiss with Hinata in The Last: Naruto the Movie, it'll be a deserving and fitting end for Sora's saga when he gets his much anticipated kiss with Kairi.
Riku has actually done more to protect Kairi in this game than Sora. He saved her from Siax when her and Namine were escaping, from the heartless (then gave her a keyblade) and then from that blast that Siax released. Sora's so oblivious haha
Clarissatx89 Yes but Sora had to go everywhere fighting hundreds of much stronger enemies. If you notice when Riku gave Kairi the keyblade and protected her, they were fighting like 6 of the weakest enemies in the game and not even killing them while Sora had to fight Xigbar in the same room. Riku also protected her from a small blast of wind from Siax while Sora actually had to fight and defeat him along with countless others.
IntelligentReality Yes, but the point is that Riku was actually with Kairi. At that moment, even though it was just regular heartless, they were all attacking Kairi. Sora's focus was on defeating the organization members - they were no longer a threat to Kairi because they only needed her to get Sora there. Also, you can't really blame Riku for not fighting Siax and stuff because the members purposely separated Sora and themselves from the rest of the group while fighting.

i remember playing through this game the first few days after i got it...and the moment it ended i just didn't even know where to put myself....i sat crying through the credits feeling like it was over and then when the ending with the kings message came..i felt like they were saying we'll see you again soon. Like i was saying goodbye to some old friends to meet them again later on...i love these games.

If Naruto can get his long-awaited kiss with Hinata in The Last: Naruto the Movie, it'll be a deserving and fitting end for Sora's saga when he gets his much anticipated kiss with Kairi.
Riku has actually done more to protect Kairi in this game than Sora. He saved her from Siax when her and Namine were escaping, from the heartless (then gave her a keyblade) and then from that blast that Siax released. Sora's so oblivious haha
Clarissatx89 Yes but Sora had to go everywhere fighting hundreds of much stronger enemies. If you notice when Riku gave Kairi the keyblade and protected her, they were fighting like 6 of the weakest enemies in the game and not even killing them while Sora had to fight Xigbar in the same room. Riku also protected her from a small blast of wind from Siax while Sora actually had to fight and defeat him along with countless others.
IntelligentReality Yes, but the point is that Riku was actually with Kairi. At that moment, even though it was just regular heartless, they were all attacking Kairi. Sora's focus was on defeating the organization members - they were no longer a threat to Kairi because they only needed her to get Sora there. Also, you can't really blame Riku for not fighting Siax and stuff because the members purposely separated Sora and themselves from the rest of the group while fighting.
Lol I think the goal was to develop the bond of friendship between the two and make the gamers who didn't like Riku like him more

i remember playing through this game the first few days after i got it...and the moment it ended i just didn't even know where to put myself....i sat crying through the credits feeling like it was over and then when the ending with the kings message came..i felt like they were saying we'll see you again soon. Like i was saying goodbye to some old friends to meet them again later on...i love these games.
Honestly they could've ended the story here and it would've been fine....but KH3 is bound to be awesome
