Canon 6D with a 24-105 L lens is our main setup. We also use a 20mm prime Sigma Art series lens for a lot of the detail shots as well. Canon 7D is our backup camera. Grayson and I both use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, he's on Windows, I'm on Mac OSX. Hope this helps!

I've got the same red genIII viper roadster, and took a similar, but more involved, route in modifying it. Intake, throttle body, intake manifold, heads, cam, stroked crank, forged pistons and rods, headers and full exhaust, rear diff, brake rotors and lines, and custom tune. It was hard to resist the temptation to supercharge, as horsepower numbers are higher with less investment, but you loose trackability due to heat and reliability issues. I'm very happy with my viper and its performance. MOPAR for life!!!

    •  8 лет назад

***** It was beating 911s at the time for like 50 grand cheaper brand new at the time of release for the Supra in stock trim plus it dominated the 911s in the jgtc championships. The viper is pretty much the same now in terms of the incredible performance you get for the value.

    •  8 лет назад

***** please look up the specs. Just because you cant find information doesnt mean its there. zero to 60 in the high 4s to early 5s + insane skidpad rating that took a Carera GT to beat it like a decade later etc etc in the early 90s are borderline absurd and are all well established facts if you do a bit of research. A lot of people dismissed the supra in the nineties (well the americans anyway because they had to pay higher prices due to inflated prices which is why it wasnt very successful in america). btw a 300zx is most definitly not a faster car than a TT supra or a Skyline in anyway imaginable lolol. Also watch all the Tsuchiya and Orido videos (called hot version) featuring the supra. It handily beats the rx7 in most tracks that have even remotely fast straights etc. In corners the rx7 was just better due to being an absurdly light car. But not good enough to outright out pace a jza80 supra. Which explains why the supra has 5 JGTC titles compared to nothing with the rx7. I love both cars tho so yeah. The viper today is not appreciated enough in countries other than the US (same deal with what happened in the 90s to the supra in america) but people will soon realise why it is such an awesome car for the money. Give it like 20 years and see how everyone start crying about vipers being stupid expensive after they have stopped production. Its only a matter of time lol its definitly a great car thats not appreciated enough right now around the world.

***** +sleepybird09 First id like to give sources to my claims.
      www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/features/a7589/why-the-supra-still-matters/
      mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm
      forums.finalgear.com/general-automotive/nsx-vs-300zx-vs-supra-38858/
You are hopelessly uninformed and i will breakdown every false thing you just typed up in this comment (well t least try to).
"hot version.. lol probably the most biased car show I have ever seen." How can JAPANESE championship drivers be Biased about COMPARING JAPANESE CARS to each other? Also why would a tv show with multiple hosts out of which only one host (Orido) who owns a supra be BIASED towards the supra? Your logic is atrocious and your claim is extremely unfounded here.
"unlike the supra which was not a bargain it was just normal but towards the high end of the scale." that is completely your opinion and not a fact in anyway you did not prove or disprove anything with spitting out an opinion that has zero backing from credible sources.
"not sure where you are getting those numbers from specially the skid pad numbers. and the whole it took a carrera gt to beat it is beyond a crazy claim." Firstly i would like educate you on why skid pad rating is important for a cars performance. "A skidpad or skidpan is a circular area of flat pavement used for various tests of a car's handling. The most common skidpad use is testing lateral acceleration, measured in g. This usage is similar to that of a kick plate. The test is carried out on a circular track with a defined radius. A car driving on said track is slowly accelerated until the outermost tires on the car begin to slip. Going any faster would cause the car to drive outside the defined radius. At this point, the speed of the car is recorded, and given the centripetal acceleration formula, v²/r, a car's handling in terms of lateral gs can be derived." It literally has everything to do with how well a car handles and performs. Once again i have stated my sources above so you can read that if you want to stop being ignorant.
"considering a porsche 928 could hang with a supra." LOL Im not even going to argue with this hopeless misinformed opinion so heres a link to disprove that from road and track - www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/features/a7589/why-the-supra-still-matters/
"deff a 911 996/997 gt3 would be no competition." Ah yes here you are comparing a semi race trim 911 to a stock RZ supra. How misinformed or (pardon my french) retarded are you to do that? Would you compare an ACR viper to a stock corvette? wtf is up with your logic because that is the stupidest comparison ive ever read in my life. If you want to compare a race trim 911 to a race trim supra then SURPRISE SURPRISE The Supra beat countless 911s in full RACE TRIM 5 times in the JGTC and SUPERGT championships. THIS IS NOT MY OPINION THIS IS A WELL RECORDED FACT.
"vs a carrera gt would not even be worth watching." NOBODY IS SAYING THAT A STOCK SUPRA IS FASTER THAN A CARRERA GT ARE YOU ILLITERATE? I said its skid pan rating took a carrera gt to beat it a decade after the supras release. Once again your logic is extremely flawed.
"maybe you are the one that needs to look up actual facts on it" LOLOL oh the audacity to type that lmao
"and take what you see in best motoring with a grain of salt. just look up motorweek sport car comparison 93 I think car and driver also had one. and in all of them the supra came in at mid pack, usually below the rx7 and 300zx. in both cornering, straight line and braking." Please provide sources to back this up or this is another completely empty misinformed opinion that has zero merit. Also just to point out how misinformed you are these are the specs of the cars in stock trim -
      FD RX7 (1993)
      Maximum Speed, mph (km/h) 158 (252)
      Acceleration, 0-60 mph, sec. 5
      Standing 1/4 mile 13.6
      1990 300ZX TT
      300.0 bhp @ 6400 rpm
      283.0 ft lbs @ 3600 rpm
      1579 kg / 3481 lbs
      0 - 60 mph: 6.5 s
      0 - 100 mph: 16.5 s
      Top Speed: 250 kph / 155.0 mph
      1993 Supra TT
      320.0 bhp @ 5800 rpm
      315.0 ft lbs @ 4000 rpm
      1565 kg / 3450 lbs
      0 - 60 mph: 5.0 s
      0 - 100 mph: 13.8 s
      Top Speed: 250 kph / 155.0 mph
You are so fucking misinformed its not even funny i rest my case. Once again my sources are above.
"and the same year porsche 959 was one of the fastest if not the fastest car of the time. 0-60 in the 3sec range and top speed in the 190mph range skid pad was high and awd. it was the equivalent of today's 918. 😅 don't get me wrong the supra is one of my favorites but it damm sure was not the fastest or even the fastest in its class car. the 959 was in the 11sec range while the supra was in low 13s in 1/4mi."
Jesus christ now you are comparing a porsche 959 to the supra now? Why not compare a Ferrari f40 while you are at it? A Mclaren F1 perhaps? Your logic is so flawed its not even funny. Also WHERE DID I OR ANYONE CLAIM THE SUPRA WAS THE FASTEST CAR IN THE WORLD AT THE TIME? Do you even know how to make a valid and RELEVANT argument? Please do some more reading on what you are trying to argue about before arguing because you are hopelessly misinformed and your argument logic is woeful to say the least. Please dont reply if you are going to continue to type irrelevant and inaccurate opinions. Good day to you.

I have a question for anyone who has driven or own a viper. Is the dash a little to high to see the road as good as other performance cars? Also is it expensive to have it worked on especially when replacing MOPAR parts and I'm referring to engine problems or transmission issues like repairs, I can do the basic maintenance, oil changes, transmission flushes, brake pads & rotors replacement but thats about it.

    • @paulbeard9140
      @paulbeard9140 6 лет назад

mrsqueak74 no the dash is just fine who cares about the maintenance use synthetic oil so far mine has been minimal. It’s a cheap fun car. I’ll keep mine for ever unless I trade up. It a head turner. I get thumbs up every time I gas up. My wife said the other night this is not a sports car this is a “race car “ . Yeah you’re right!

+Grant Kondourajian Yup they look sweet , and I agree they will definitely be collectable 20 years from now , they are already holding their value pretty good , unlike corvettes

The 2016 viper am pretty sure was an 8.4 liter. I know this isn't one but he said 8.3 was the biggest. Yes for when is car was built not when they made this video.

Get a C6 Z06 to review that's been cammed with heads, an intake, and a tune. It'll be a 575-600RWHP car that's lighter than this Viper and really make you appreciate American N/A power. :)

+Bart Van Riel While the V10 is an amazing engine no doubt; I'm not sure if call it perfection. Hell, I own a C6 Z06 and I wouldn't even call it's LS7 perfection lol.

    • @hesayad1055

the viper ACR beats cars 5 times its price with the manual. it doesnt need an automatic. also, dodge said they cant even fit an automatic in it

Went full throttle 1st - 2nd - 3rd multiple times, and by that time you're already triple the speed limit because the gears are so long :p Also went fairly hot into a few corners, this thing can GRIP.
