    I've tried eating this food without juicing it. It's great. It costs less and you also get the fiber which helps improve gut health. The ginger and kale can be blended with some extra water and one more apple.

    • @jgut69
      @jgut69 3 года назад +5

      Why would you strain it. ? We all need the fiber

    • @michellepalmer5283
      @michellepalmer5283 3 года назад +17

      @@jgut69 yes straining pulls out the fiber but you can get fiber by eating healthy meals. By removing the fiber you make it to where the juice doesn't have to be processed in the stomach. The nutrients go straight into your blood stream.

    • @favioadame8249

      I dont strain my green juice be cause 1. It dirties The strainer and bowl which means more dishes to clean and 2. It takes the pulp and fiber out which means your body will get hungry again soon after you drink it.

    • @nanastrippin2006
      @nanastrippin2006 2 года назад

      True, but to give someone a jump start, it's good to juice now and then, though your right, it shouldn't take the place of the actual food 👍

    • @nanastrippin2006
      @nanastrippin2006 2 года назад +2

      Exactly, so just use the pulp to make breads or quiches, it's all good, but juicing is just a way to give our guys a bit of a break and clean out the bulk of the waste, though it's not to take the place of the actual food, it does give us a jump start to cleansing the colon and gut, but good point 👍

    I make this almost everyday in my cold press juicer. One thing I would recommend is to start with 1 inch of ginger and increase a little at a time according to your taste. The amount she used in this video would be wayyy too much for my wife and I (of course, with the juicer, we don't add any water). Also, I keep a glass bottle in the freezer and pour the juice into that to let it chill while I clean everything up. Generally, we make just enough for one serving at a time. By the way, this is the exact recipe, "Joe's Mean Green", Joe Cross has in his app,

    As I was first introduced to "juicing", I would juice liters of juices , from apples to celery, betroots and carrots, and store them in the refrigerator for 3 days, and I would drink it early in the morning 'till ten o' clock....enjoyed it, it woz fine! but, then, I created a serious "vowel" movement, that allows me to release my "feces" into "small amounts", because of the lack of fibers in the juices.........it became a "PROBLEM"!!! So, I immediately stopped juicing!!!!! Now, I purchased a watermelon, and put them in the fridge! I would mix them with water and one banana and twoo scoops of green powder!!! I can't tell the difference, it's a juice!!! From a dead powder to a green smoothie....i dunno wot people make these days, by which they call " HEALTHY ", but, yeah......the process ain't healthy at all!!!so, beware....

      You don’t have to strain it, however to get a more refine texture just blend a bit longer. The fiber is good, but the body will absorb the nutrients from just the juice quicker. The fiber mostly enhance peristalsis.
