Exactly. He's a great comedic writer, but not a great stand-up comic. And yes, he's been doing that Quasimodo routine for years.
A lot of this material I had heard before. Why not write something fresh if you're going to host the SNL?
Larry is a freaking national treasure
Y'all just sensitive. Period
Finally somebody who brilliantly sums up what is going on today! Larry David is a herol
I've always will be a fan of larry david.
"You're not gonna fix me up with some dog!" ......."The BIG difference is...." I just about died. Oh my gosh this man is a genius.
Here before this blows up
The character of George Costanza, based on Larry David is played by Jason Alexander, who was the voice of one of the gargoyles in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Oh my word, it all makes sense!
Leave PC rules out of comedy...
Jorge Veloz PC culture needs to die
Jorge Veloz great advice...people should accept comedy for its intent.
Preach
Wermhats Wormhat You we’re offended by it, so you didn’t find it funny, did you not hear the crowd though? They seemed to like it.
Jorge Veloz or anything
"Quasimodo, who like me had nothing to offer." ...accurate.
He did the Quasi bit a few years ago on Conan's show.
Awesoman
"Listen to me, Quasi" haha
Thank you!!!! I've been trying to think where I've heard this before
It's good
Its basically George from Seinfeld
air port Especially since he's supposed to be deaf from the bells.
I usually don't watch the monologues but there was so much fuss about it that I came to see, it was hilarious
"She's cool with the hump!" LOL felt like a Seinfeld episode
Well, Geddy Lee of Rush, his parents did in fact meet in a concentration camp. It inspired their song Red Sector A.
Came here because apparently the internet is mad about the holocaust jokes Larry David made...may I remind you he’s Jewish. When it comes to comedy, you take off your real world hat & just enjoy the jokes. Comedy has never been PC & many comedians have risked their lives in the past to push the boundaries. People really did go to jail because they expressed themselves. Don’t push us back in time.
too late for that.. they don't call them the "regressive left" for no reason.
who cares if he's jewish? anyone can make a joke about whatever they want
Larry is really good at standup. He is so bright, yet his material is so simple and relatable.
is it me or is it the whole thing
maybe 2 people got the Sally Field reference in the beginning.
MickyAvStickyHands 3 😊I got it
