Matt, I noticed that you use a Sony MDL 7506 headphone set. I go on line on Ebay and buy them used for little, get the repair parts and use them for next to nothing compared to the retail prices. I have the Go II mics and am ready to use them for making videos.
Was wireless go sounding this great just straight out of iphone 10 without an external sound recorder?? If yes, then it sounded as great as an NtG mic..
Amazing video, do you need to plug in the receiver into the microphone jack of your camera or can you use it without plugging the receiver into the camera?
Could the Rode Wireless Go Transmitter connect directly to a dynamic XLR mic e.g. Shure SM58 using a XLR to 3.5mm jack? Basically turn the SM58 into a wireless mic. The sound reproduction of SM58 would be much better that the internal mic of the Wireless Go.
Without having tested it, I believe it could. It works the other way, sending the signal into the Zoom H6 via XLR adapter. I’ll give it a try and let you know!
I plug in the wireless go to the sonyZV1 and then connect the other piece with the mic and attach it to my shirt...i can see the green bars moving on the wireless go when i talk...everything seems fine, then after the video is done i play it and just static no sound at all.... i then plugged the wireless go into my iphone and yep...works like a charm. i have no idea what’s going on
You can, but you will have to connect them to a Zoom H6 or equivalent recorder/mixer and use that as your mic input on Zoom(the app) and your computer.
I have an LG Stylo 4+ with Android 6.0.1. Do I plug the transmitter into the headphone jack? Would I need a certain adapter cable to do this? It goes into the headphone jack, right?
For some reason when i plug my rode wireless go into my Camera it shows that it is connected but for some reason is not connecting sound? I have wasted a full day trying to figure this out and no luck. Any thoughts.
Are you getting spikes in sound on your camera’s monitor? If so, I’d check to make sure your headphone/speaker volume is up first. Otherwise I think what help I could offer would depend on your camera.
Hey, this was a great video, 100% worth a like 👊 I’ve just uploaded a video reviewing a cheap wireless microphone setup and would love any comments or feedback you had on it! 😊 Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next upload! ❤️

That’s great advice - I’ll have to look into that. Good luck creating!!!
Great use cases for the wireless mic. I need to get me one of those.
It's a fantastic little piece of gear!

Really cool ways to use this. Thanks
Thanks so much!
I knew I subbed for a reason. Mr Classy has inspired me to get the Rode Wireless Go.
Sooooo do it! You’ll be very happy.

Thank you! Yes, you do need to plug it into the mic jack on the camera or in my case into the Atomos Ninja V in order to record audio.
Great tip for the Rode VMP +
New sub 👌🏾
Thank you so much!
Hi, where did you get the stand for the rode wireless go?
You know, I think it came free with some random piece of gear. I actually don’t remember!

Nine Stories Creative look i have a rode videomicro do you think i should buy the wireless go aswell?
I think you should!
I have the exact same podcast set up - do you not get any high pitched beeping/interference ??
I haven’t, although last week on a shoot the sound would squeal when the location’s A/C turned on.

My guess would be that the “audio in” jack is faulty on the camera.
can you use two of these while on zoom and use them as the audio source? if so, how?
You can, but you will have to connect them to a Zoom H6 or equivalent recorder/mixer and use that as your mic input on Zoom(the app) and your computer.
@@MattJackson_RUclips no can’t you use the ELGATO CAM LINK and it works?
I believe as long as you have some kind of gear to accept both wireless receivers it should work.
Can i use this as a guitar pickup in live proformens
Not too sure. Give it a try and let us know!

Yes, you’d need a similar trs to trrs adapter...I think. It should work similarly with Android.
It works ill do a video using the LG v60 so you can see
Sounded better before post processing

nice video, remember me ?
Thanks! And sure do...I’ll always remember my first thousand. Haha.
Your example of compression added made it sound worse
Depending on the playback device, I could agree with you.
