Hi Karin, here's a tip: Click on the settings button (lower right of the video viewing screen, looks like a gear with a little red box that says "HD"), select "Playback Speed," and you can speed up / slow down the videos. I use that function all the time. Very handy!

So I went to RUclips, and there you were with all the information I needed to make my decision--to install/or not to install. Per your suggestion, I will not be installing Mac OS Catalina for 2 or 3 more weeks. I absolutely love your videos and I've gotten help with problems and tips about new features. Wish I had watched this before downloading Catalina. Not only myself but others have had problems after downloading Catalina with any app to do with photos i.e. Luminar, Photoshop, Lightroom, apps to make photo books etc. Thanks for all the suggestions here.
Do you have a video or suggestion for how to eliminate duplicate photo for Apple photos? I recently imported in a large amount of photos from an external hard drive, and there are many duplicates. Thanks!

As always, another great video. Thanks David. So far, Catalina has worked great on my 5K iMac. The only App I've had problems with is the Chrome browser. After Catalina, I find that Chrome won't access many websites. They simply timeout. My fix.....move to Safari, which works flawlessly. George in FL.

Well done! Thank you. But I missed info about Time Machine, which is the reason I had to go back to a previous system. Apparently, Catalina does not let you to roll back, unless you have a very big external hard drive (instead of the "normal one which worked with previous OS). I still need to investigate that.

A Sidecar question : Using the latest Mac Mini, an iPad Pro 12.9", an Apple Pencil-2, and Sidecar, once set up with Mirroring the Mac Mini to the iPad, is it then possible that the iPad Pro can be the Mac Mini's ONLY screen so you NEVER need to connect a regular monitor to the Mac Mini ever again, even after fully shutting down the Mac Mini, installing a major OS upgrade, whatever? This would allow travelling, taking only the MacMini, iPad Pro, and Pencil-2, and NOT needing to take a monitor, keyboard, nor mouse. One could just use the iPad Pro and Pencil-2 and have a fully functioning Mac Mini.

David THANK YOU for another very helpful video. Could you please help with one MAJOR issue I've had after installation of Catalina. I have a Late 2013 Macbook Pro and ~ 60 GB available storage + 8GB RAM. After installing Catalina Photos has slowed down considerably so much so that if I edit even one photo (out of ~100 that I have on it at any time) it slows down my whole system...trackpad gets jerky and slow and all applications, including chrome slow down. Would you know of nay fix for this issue.
I downloaded this app & my computer crashed. I kept getting pop ups that said malware was installed somewhere in my computer. Listen to Mr. Cox & be careful . New subbie here !! : - )

You can save voicemails from the voicemail menu in iOS by sharing to disk. Was this was in iOS 12
